A beautiful dress

'How soon is too soon to get married?'

Carina's face lit up with so much joy, knowing that Maya was thinking about marriage already. She was too, she thought about it all the time. The only thing stopping her right now was the length of their relationship so far. Although maybe Teddy was right, love shouldn't have a time scale.

Two months later...

Saturday morning, the sun was shining, and love was in the air. The couple and all of the guests were in the hotel, getting ready for the special day. Dressed smart, flowers at the ready and rings ready to be worn, with the declaration due to take place in just an hour.

"That is a beautiful dress" the hairdresser smiled, as she glanced at Carina standing next to it.

"It really is" Carina smiled and ran her fingers over the fabric.

Teddy walked in with two glasses of champagne, handing one to Carina, "to calm the nerves".

Teddy and Carina had their hair and makeup done together and were now almost ready.

"I love weddings" Teddy smiled widely.

"Me too" Carina nodded, "today is going to be so magical".

"Best get dressed" Teddy said, and Carina nodded in agreement. Teddy walked off to another room in her hotel suite to get changed. As Carina went to do the same, her phone dinged. She picked it up to read the message, smiling wide as she did.

Maya: I can't wait to see you beautiful. I love you so much <3

Carina: I love you the most amore mio <3

"Carina come on! I know you're texting your girl, but you'll see her in a minute!" Teddy shouted.

Carina and Teddy were finally ready, walking out of the hotel together and into the wedding car. The venue was only five minutes down the road and before they knew it, they were there.

They chose an outside venue instead of the tradition church scene, white chairs covered in ribbons and flowers everywhere, leading to the arch at the end of the aisle.

"Are you ready?" Teddy asked Carina as they got out of the car.

"Why are you asking me? It's your wedding" Carina laughed.

"I'm just making sure my maid of honour is okay" Teddy laughed.

"Come on, let's go" Carina laughed. Teddy and Carina had been best friends basically forever so when Teddy thought about walking down the aisle, she wanted to do it with no one but Carina.

The wedding guests were made up of family of both Teddy and Owen, Teddy and Carina's friends including Maggie, Link and Gabriella, Owen's friends, Maya and all of her friends, Andrea and Serena and some others. Link and Amelia were sitting together, as they hit it off about two months ago and have been a couple since.

Just before the turned the corner in view of the guests, Teddy linked her arm with Carina's as the Italian spoke, "you look gorgeous, Owen is the luckiest guy on the planet".

Teddy softly laughed and let out a breath, "okay let's do this".

The music started and they slowly made their way to Owen, following Leo who was the flower boy.

They got to the top and Carina took Teddy's flowers off her, stepping to the side like Owen's best man, Jackson.

Carina looked into the crowd, eyes instantly finding Maya's. She gave her a subtle wink as the ceremony began.
