Sharing their life together has been amazing since they locked eyes all that time ago, but this... this is only the beginning.

After the first dance, normal music resumed and everyone filtered onto the dance floor, surrounding Maya and Carina and dancing the night away.

The most amazing food was served soon after, consisting of three courses of the couples favourites. Carina insisted on a dessert, even though there was also wedding cake yet to be cut, because of course you can't have a wedding without tiramisu, or so she told Maya.

The newly weds circled the room once again, making sure to sit with all the guests.

Carina was with Amelia and Teddy, standing near their other friends, when Maya walked up behind her.

"Hi" Maya smiled, wrapping her arms around Carina's waist.

"Hi" Carina smiled back at her.

"Could I possibly steal her away?" the blonde asked her friends.

"Is it going to stop you if we say no?" Amelia questioned.

"Absolutely not".

"Thought so" Amelia nodded, "go ahead... but we have more to talk about later" she winked at them both.

Maya saluted to her, making Carina laugh. Fingers gravitated to one another, interlocking as they walked across the room together.

"Where are we going?" Carina asked.

"I thought maybe we could have some air... just the two of us" Maya smiled, leading Carina out of the marquee onto the now moon-lit beach, perfectly paired with warm lights dotted around.

Maya stopped and bent down, looking up at Carina as she gently took off her heels.

"Thank you" Carina smiled, watching Maya stand up and slide off her own, putting them to the side of the marquee entrance and joining their hands again.

They began walking, glancing at each other every two seconds and smiling widely.

"What is happening?" Carina giggled.

Now a little further from the marquee, Maya stepped in front of Carina and pulled her in by her waist, "I just love you so much".

"I love you, bambina" Carina said, emphasis on the 'you'.

For a moment, they stood staring into one another's eyes, until Carina continued, whispering in the moon light, "kiss me".

"I thought you'd never ask" Maya grinned, leaning in to do so.

Small kisses turned into passionate ones, the kind that could last them a lifetime. Luckily for them, that's what they were lined up for.

As they pulled away, Maya wore a smile as she bent down, picking Carina up bridal style and continuing to walk down the beach.

"Maya!" Carina giggled.

"You're officially my wife, and my beautiful bride, I can do this as much as I want".

Carina cupped one side of Maya's face and brought their lips together once again as they continued to move down the beach.

Further down the beach, Carina glanced back over her shoulder to look at the marquee, "we're quite far from the party now aren't we? You can barely hear them".

Maya grinned, placing Carina on the ground, "clever girl". The grin turned into a smirk as the blonde pulled her in.

"Maya..." Carina smirked also.

"Yes?".

"I know what's coming" Carina nodded.

"Oh baby... you have no idea".
