We're finally going home.
"Hello Aceleve, I see you found your brother" Heimdall noticed. I nodded.
"Yes sir. Now will you please take us to midguard?" I asked politely.
"Sure. You seem in a good mood, is there a special occasion?" Heimdall asked, preparing his grand sword into the pedestal
"Well I was gonna save it but today is Roy's 18 birthday and as a present I'm taking him to his old home" I stated.
"Happy birthday little man" I joked, hugging him around his middle.
"Today is my birthday?" He asked. I nodded
"Wow. Time moves quickly here" he stated in amazement. I laughed and let go of him.
"Alright well you two have fun, and shout when you're ready to come home" Heimdall advised. We nodded in unison and stepped in front of the working vortex to go home. I grabbed his hand and jumped into the colors. Suddenly as we sank into the portal the wind began blowing harder and faster, almost as if the bifrost is angry.
"Aceleve what's going on?!" Roy shouted over the wind. I looked back at him
"I don't know! It's never done this before!" I shouted. Our hands were slick with sweat and the wind brought tears to my eyes. The colors started to merge together and the blend was making me nauseous
"Aceleve! My hand! It's slipping!" Roy yelled. I dug my nails into the top of his hand
"Hold on!" I begged. I swung my other hand around and held onto him. I dont know what to do. The bifrost has us trapped in a portal tunnel with no way out and no way to contact Heimdall or Loki.
"Aceleve, I can't hold on!" Roy yelled.
"Please you have to!" I yelled. Roy squeezed his eyes shut and I felt his fingers slip through my grasp.
"NOO!!" I screamed. I choked on tears and watched him fall father into the portal until he vanished
"ROY!!!" I screamed his name, hoping for a response. My body was outstretched and I couldn't breath. I squeezed my eyes shut and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I sobbed as tears burned my eyes. In the darkness I felt the portal open with cold air and I felt myself fall heavily on the polished floor of the golden dome holing the bifrost.
"Aceleve what happened?" Heimdall asked, crouching behind me. I kept my eyes shut as I cried
"Roy is gone" I managed through my moans. heimdall didn't question me anymore and he picked me up in his arms. I sobbed in his chest and clenched my hands into fists. My heart squeezed from pain and the blackness enveloped my mind until I slipped away. And the pain was gone.

*A while later*

I groaned as I sat up in the bed. Looking around the room I noticed where I was, in Loki's and I was alone. After remembering what happened last night my eyes heated up again and my throat closed. No. I need to focus on finding Roy. I threw the covers off of me and stepped onto the cold, polished wood floor. I ran to the door and out into the halls, my bare feet making sticky suction noises.
"Lady Aceleve, Lord Loki had just sent me to check on you. How are you?" A lady servant asked, her voice light and airy.
"It doesn't matter. Where's Loki?" I asked.
"He's in the library. Shall I send for him?"
"No. I'll go myself. Thank you" I told her. I left without another response and I quickly walked to the library, my long black dress trailing behind me. I pulled open the grand door and slipped in through the crack.
"Aceleve, you're awake" Loki stated, slightly confused as he stood from the long wooden table to greet me. I nodded and licked my dry lips.
"I need to find Roy" I stated, determination strong in my voice.
"I've already began looking. I've sent out runners to every realm, including Jotenheim. So far nothing"
"How long have they been gone?"
"Since Heimdall delivered you to me, when you were unconscious"
"And how long has that been?"
"Around eight hours"
"Eight hours!" I shrieked.
"Calm down Aceleve. We'll find him" Loki reassured me, walking around the grand desk to put his arms around my shoulder. I sighed and nodded.
"Alright. I want to go after him"
"No" Loki stated.
"He is lost in some dimension hell he could be in the past for all we know. It's not like when you took him from and he was safe. I don't know if my baby brother is even alive Loki. I can't sit around and do nothing"
"You're right. But you haven't eaten in over twelve hours and you're dehydrated. You are in no condition to be traveling. Eat something then we'll look" he told me. I rolled my eyes and reluctantly agreed. He took me to the dining hall and sat me down in a wooden seat with a red plush cushion then quick waiters ran out with food on silver plates. The plate that was set down in front of me was a small cut of meat, a bit bigger than a handful of mixed berries and a small piece of bread. Then a tall glass of water was placed beside my plate and a small vial of a oddly colored liquid was inside.
"What's this?" I asked no one in general.
"It's medicine" Loki told me, picking up his fork and knife to cut into his meat. I turned my nose up at it and absently began picking at the berries with my fork.
"Aceleve please eat. We're not leaving until you do" Loki stated firmly. I rolled my eyes and cut into the tender meat and swallowed with a unsatisfied tongue. I'm not hungry. I took a gulp of water to help the food go down and I sighed as I placed the glass back down.
"Once you finished your lamb drink the medicine then you must eat all of the berries and lastly the bread. Then you must drink all of your water"
"Why do I have to eat my food in a certain order?"
"Its what you have to do for the medicine to work"
I nodded and didn't say anything as I slowly cut another piece of the meat and shoved it in my mouth.

Finally finishing my dinner and gulping down the sour medicine I stared at Loki, waiting to hear what happens next.
"Prince Loki" a runner gasped, running to Loki's right shoulder.
"What have you found?" Loki demanded.
"The body. We found the mans body" the runner gasps again. I stared at the runner and my mouth opened in shock.
"Take me to him" I demanded, standing from the chair.
"Right away" the runner said, with a short nod. I followed him with Loki on my heels. The runner took us through the entire castle until we finally reached a morgue like building. I took a deep breath to prepare myself and followed the tall man through the steel like door. Then laying on a shiny flat service with a white sheet covering his tan body up to his chin. I pursed my lips and clenched my nails into my hands.
"I lost my brother. Again" I whispered, tears burning my eyes.
"I can't do this. Not twice" I whispered, my throat closing.
"Aceleve" Loki began but I shushed him
"Don't" I stated. I shouldered past him before he could see my cry and I took to the air and flew to the most abandoned spot I knew. The cliffs.
