chapter 11

I watched through my mental eye as the picture changed and Thor and Loki were having a stand off on a very large and beautiful rainbow bridge

"why have you done this?"

"to prove to father that I am a worthy son! when he wakes, I will have saved his life. I will have destroyed that race of monsters and I will be the true king!" Loki shouted.

"you can't kill a entire race!"Thor replied.

I could tell Thor was getting frustrated and the more distraught Thor got the more cocky and confident Loki became.

"why not? and what is this new found love for the frost giants? you, who could have killed them with there bare hands" Loki smirked

"iv changed"

"so have I" Loki said then he lunged at Thor, aiming at the stomach with his spear

"now fight me!" he commanded

Loki tried to hit Thor again but he blocked it with his hammer.

"I will not fight you brother!" Thor shouted

"I am not your brother, I never was!" Loki shouted and he attacked Thor again but Thor moved out of the way at the last second

"Loki, this is madness!"

"is it madness? come on, what happened to you on Earth that turned you so soft? don't tell me it was that woman?" Loki asked. Thor glared at him and his grip on his hammer turned his knuckled white. Loki noticed the sudden mood change and used it to his advantage

"oh, it was well maybe when we're finished here, I'll go pay her a visit myself" Loki said giving a evil smile.

Thor charges at Loki with his hammer and Loki easily moves out of the way and each dodge Loki moved the more exhausted Thor got and the more confident Loki became.

"look at you, the mighty Thor with all your srength! and what good does it do you now?" Loki asked stricking at Thor's head and knocking him over.

"do you hear me brother!? there's nothing you can do!?" Loki shouted.

Thor pushed Loki away and ran towards the edge of the rainbow bridge and brings his hammer down, crashing against it and making a huge dent in the bridge. Thor snarled and hit the bridge again. Loki gave a war cry and lunged at Thor's back with his spear. At the last second Thor turned around and hit Loki under the chin, knocking him back and landing heavily on his back. Thor turned back to his work and Loki lunged at Thor again but Thor destroyed the bridge and that knocking Loki over the edge. I gasped as I watched and dug my nails into my palms. I saw Thor hung on to the handle of Loki's handle, with Loki on the other end, hanging in space.

I saw over Thor's shoulder Odin staring down at Loki

"I could have done it father, i could have done it! for you! for all of us!" Loki shouted. Odin looked down at Loki, obviously disappointed

"no Loki" was all he said. Loki looked like he was going to cry and he loosened his grip on the scepter.

"No Loki!" Thor shouted. I could feel the hurt in Loki's heart and he fully let go of the scepter, falling into the empty space.

"NOO!" Thor shouted. The vision ended and I was back into my own mind on earth. I gasped and fell out of the tree from shock. I landed on my knees and stayed there, breathing heavily from the tension and fear in my chest. I quickly searched for Thor's mind, I had to find out what happens next. The image opened to Thor and Odin looking over a open area of gold and sky

"you'll make a wise king" Odin said placing a hand on his son's shoulder.

"there will never be a wiser king than you, nor a better father. I have much to learn but I hope that one day perhaps, I shall make you proud" Thor said without looking at his father.

"you already have" Odin whispered. My vision ended and I was still sitting in the dirt. I took a deep breath and slowely stood up, testing my knees. I couldn't focus, the pain of loosing Loki and the shock of being away from my mind for so long made me nauseous. I took a deep breath, fighting down the tears and lifted myself into the air. I flew back to the campsite in a daze, half trying to find Coulson. I eventually found him sitting in a business chair, reading a file. I dropped to the ground and walked up to him.

"hey, so I think I got off topic to why I came here in the first place" I began. Coulson looked up from his file

"ah yes, follow me" he said and put the file on a desk. He led me to a shed type building and pointed to a man with dark hair wearing a business suit

"go talk to that man over there, his name is Brad, he'll get everything sorted out for you" he said. I nodded and walked over to Brad.

"excuse me" I said, tapping him on the shoulder. He looked down at me

"yes?"

"Coulson said I was spossed to come talk to you about some paperwork I am spossed to do to become a official agent of the Avenger's mission" I said I found a nearby chair and sat in it, rubbing my temples. He nodded and went to a file cabinet and rummaged through it

"long day?" he asked when he saw me

"you have no idea, any chance you have some head medicine?" I asked. while closing my eyes. I heard a bottle open and I opened my eyes to see Brad holding a pill and a water bottle out to me. I took them from him and put the pill in my mouth and took a big gulp of water, forcing the pill down my throat.

"thanks" I said.

"no problem, so what's your full name?" he asked.

"Aceleve Jewl Hart" I said.

he nodded

"ok, all you need to do is sighn this contract stating that S.H.I.E.L.D gets all of your personal information and that we're not responsible for any damage you take during combat blah blah blah, no one really cares" he trailed off, flipping threw the packet. He placed the file on the desk in front of me and handed me a pen

"ok, just initial here sighn here and when your finished I'll need a fingerprint" he said pointing to the lines. I nodded and initialed and sighned then I stuck my thumb on the ink pad and rolled my thumb across the page.

I was wipping the ink off my thumb when Agent Coulson walked in.

"Brad, Ace are we all finished here?" he asked. I nodded and Brad put my file back in the cabinet.

"ok good, Ace you are no longer needed in New Mexico, you can go back to Oklahoma whenever you please" he said. I nodded

"thanks" I replied. without even bothering to grab my stuff or to say goodbye I walked out of the building and twirled into the air, rushing to Loki's house to hopefully see him again.

hey guys so short chapter and I'm almost 2 days behind on posting my story. sorry about that but on Friday it was Friday the 13 so I invited a few friends over for a horror movie marathon. and also Friday the 13 is now declared Lokiday so happy late Lokiday everyone! Allons-y and stay fantastic :)
