Chapter 30

"Aceleve, are you alright, you seem distant?" Loki asked, turning and stopping us in the empty hallway. I snapped out of my daze and stared up at him. Loki was right, ever since the meeting had ended I had escaped to my own mind. All the plans of the attack on Manhatten were terrifying, I was scared for how accurately everything was thought out. If this plan succeeds, Loki will be ruler of the world.

"yes my love, I'm fine. I'm just very tired" I told him honostly. The meeting went on for what felt like days but accourding to Loki, it was only a couple of hours.

"well, we will be heading back to Asguard in a few minutes, I just need to speak to Roy about a few more things" Loki reassured me. I nodded and rubbed my eyes to try and rub the sleep out and to wake up. Loki chuckled at my childlikeness and gently pulled my hands from my eyes and kissed my knuckles, staring into my brown eyes.

"if you wish my love, you can return to Asguard without me, I will arrive shortly after you" Loki whispered, I felt his breath tickle my hands, I lightly smiled and stepped foreward, pushing myself into his arms. I closed my eyes and leaned my head into his neck

"I never want to leave your side" I whispered, wrapping my arms around his neck. Loki smiled into my hair and gently kissed my head and wrapped his arms around my waist and locked his hands onto my hips, locking me in a embrace.

"and you never will, you forget that we are, and always will be with each other, always present.We share a connection like no other, it took me years to perfect and now it will never change" Loki whisperes.

"but what if one of us dies?" I whispered.

"we won't I'm a god, so far it is proven that I can not die, and Aceleve your so extroidinary that it's impossible for you to die, we are immortal, together forever" Loki whispered.

"Lord Loki, I'm sorry to interupt-" a new voice came down the hall. Loki tore from my embraced and whirled around at the newcomer

"What?!" Loki snarled, his arms back in a offensive pose and his feet were squared off with his shoulders. I looked at the newcomer, it was Roy.

"my apologies, but someone had sent for me to go looking for you, so here I am" Roy explained. I watched Loki calm down and he rocked his weight back into a comfortable stance and glared at Roy.

"Wait for me in the throne room. I will be there in a moment" Loki commanded. Roy nodded but didn't respond and walked the opposite way from the hall. Loki turned to me and sighed.

"I must go my love. Go back to Asguard, I will arrive shortly after" Loki commanded softly. I nodded and turned to leave.

"I love you, Aceleve Hart" Loki whispered just loud enough for me to hear. I stopped and smiled. I turned my body half way to him and turned my head to stare over my shoulder.

"I love you too, King Loki" I whispered. Loki smirked at me and turned to leave and walked down the same hall that Roy did. I sighed and turned down the hall towards outside and the main clearing. I stepped onto the hard, stone ground and walked to the middle of the open area.

"Heimdall, please open the Bifrost and take me to Asguard" I yelled. I waited a few seconds then I felt a dramatic change in the air and I felt this amazing, extroidinary power surrounding me and I looked up into the sky and the clouds began spinning and magnificent colors surrounded the clouds then the wind picked up dramatically, whipping my hair around my face and shoulders and then this beautiful beam of rainbow and stars shot from the sky and surrounded me and the energy from the portal sent electricity through my body and made my heart jump and the hairs on the back of my neck stick up. I got the breath kicked out of my lungs by the harsh power picking me up and carrying me through the air and my eyes began watering from the speed of the portal. I know I've gone through the portal before but this sensation was different from when I traveled with Loki, it was lighter, I felt like I could drink the air around me and that this portal would go on forever and I would just be surrounded by the sky. I stared above me at the portal openeing and my head got dizzy and my stomach dropped like the feeling you get from a studden drop on a rollercoaster ride. I smiled and watched the room of the bifrost came into focus. As soon as the Bifrost's power released me I surrounded myself with my power and flew around the room so I wouldn't crash into the ground. I softly landed in the doorway and turned to Heindall.

"Thank you for answering" I said politely. Heimdall turned around to face me and I watched a small smile appear on his lips.

"Your welcome, lady Aceleve" He said. I nodded and turned around and I used my power to lift me and gently glide me high above the ground to the castle, because walking is over rated. I tilted and made a tight turn around the door and I lifted myself all the way to the high ceilings so not to be seen and I silently flew around the castle.

"I swear Loki and Aceleve are up to something, they're never social and are always together" I heard a whisper in the room below me. I stopped and peeked into the room from the top of the door frame. It was Fandral and Sif. They were sitting with their backs to the door and on a couch facing the window. I silently flew into the room and crept up towards the top and folded myself into the corner.

"Fandral don't be rediculous, Aceleve is probably not a very social person and we know Loki isn't and never was, and maybe they enjoy each other's company, they are engaged" Sif said logically. Fandral gave her a look and repositioned on the couch.

"Well look at it this way, we know Loki sent the destroyer to midguard even if he won't admit it" Fandral argued. Sif didn't reply and looked away towards the window.

"You know I'm right" Fandral said again. Sif pursed her lips.

"Well how could you know they've been up to something?" She asked.

"Is the way they act not enough?"

"No, I need concrete evidence" Sif argued. Fandral rolled his eyes and sighed and sat back into the couch.

"If i find you evidence will you believe me?" he asked, almost begging. Sif sighed and rolled her eyes

"Prove it to me that they're evil then I will believe you" Sif compromised. Fandral pursed his lips and sighed

"Fine" he said.

I narrowed my eyes at them and slowely backed out of the room and turned around and quickly sped through the castle and tilted around a sharp corner and flew even faster down the hall, passing several people below me. I turned right and I used my power to quickly open the door and shut it behind me. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes and slowely lowered myself to the floor. I can't believe that they're on to us, I know he wasn't exactly hiding it but still no one could catch on that quickly. I took several deep breaths to slow my racing heart and I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the room. I heard a knock on the door and I slowly turned around to face it. I took another deep breath to calm my breathing and I gently turned the door handle and pulled open the door.

"Good evening Lady Aceleve, are you alright? I saw you racing above me and I was afraid you were in trouble" Thor asked once I opened the door.

"Oh no Thor, I'm alright thank you for checking up on me" I said politely, still trying to regain my breath.

"Alright, just checking. Have you seen Loki? I need to speak to him" Thor asked, trying to look around my shoulder into the bedroom.

"Um no I haven't seen him for about an hour" I told him. Thor pursed his lips and sighed

"Alright, well sorry to bug you so late in the evening" Thor apologized, smiling. I smiled back

"It's alright, have a good night" I told him nicely. Thor smiled and turned to leave and i shut the door behind him. I sighed and turned around and walked into the bathroom. Why would Thor want to talk with Loki? I'll have to ask him when he gets home. I sighed and turned the faucet towards hot and grabbed the bubbly soap and poured some in the bath while beginning to fill the bathtub with water. I reached over the tub and grabbed four candles and I walked over to the sink and opened the drawer and got out a package of matches. I struck the match against the package and lit the candles. I put the used match in the sink with a little bit of water and put the matches away. I walked back to the tub and put the candles along the edge and turned the knob to shut the water off. I silently unzipped my armor and threw them into the corner and slowly slipped my toe into the bubbly water. I sighed and slid the rest of my body into the water and sat at the bottom of the deep, large bath.
