chapter 7

I slammed my shoulder into the door that leades from outside to inside of the flying ship in frustration

"ugh!" I screamed, I couldnt get the door to open.

"ok Ace, use your power" I thought to myself. I took a deep breath and concentrated on the lock on the door, while trying to keep myself in the air and keeping up with the speed of the ship, which is difficult.

I smiled when I was able to open the door, I flew in and quickly shut the door behind me. I took a breath as I regained my hearing from being in the loud wind.

I walked down the hallway and to the conference room where I first met the Avengers.

"Ace, so glad you could finally join us" fury said sarcastically.

I sat down next to Hawkeye.

Natasha slid a pile of clothes over the table

"here these are some clothes I can't fit into any more, you can keep them considering we're almost the same size"

Nat said

I smiled and nodded

"thanks, excuse me while I change" I said to the room. I quickly walked out of the room and to the closest bathroom.

I pulled on the clothes and looked in the mirror. I was wearing a red v-neck shirt with black leather pants,black leather boots and a studded black and silver belt. Natasha also gave a thigh gun holster and she also gave me a small pistol with two magazines that I stuck in the holsters on the back of my belt.

I left Loki's clothes in the bathroom and walked back to the conference room.

I walked in as Fury was giving details about something to do with New York

"Ace, glad your back I wad just discussing how it's possible that something with a high energy level is in New York and how it could be dangerous. You and Mr.Stark will be assigned there to investigate when your done in New Mexico with Thor" Fury said. I walked over to the round table and sat down, putting my shoes on the table

"jeez Fury, one thing at a time I'm only one person" I said sarcastically.

"oh, and I have a favor to ask"

"oh, and what could that be?" Fury asked sarcastically

"I need you to find my brother, Roy i know you have the technology"i said crossing my arms over my chest.

Fury nodded

"I'll look into it while in your in New Mexico, now get out your wasting time" Fury snapped.

I sighed and got up. I walked out of the conference room and towards the door leading outside.

The flight to New Mexico took about twenty minutes and it was just perfect, hardly any strong winds, and it was cloudy, my kind of day. I dropped out of the air, behind a restraunt and dialed Fury's number

"hey, where's this S.H.I.E.L.D thing at?"

"it's in the middle of the desert, just look for a bunch of tarps and cords" he told me simply

"roger that" I said sarcastically and hung up the phone.

I sighed and jumped into the air, flying towards the hot desert. After maybe ten minutes of flying I finally found the tarps. I gently glided down and let my self into the tent.

I was immediately stopped by guards pointing machine guns at me. I put my hands up in surrender

"hey calm down with the fire power, would ya?" I squeaked

a man with steady, sharp blue eyes came to me, he was wearing a business suite

"what is your name?" he asked simply

"Ace-Aceleve Hart, I'm the newest member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Avengers program" I said while slowely putting my arms down.

The man nodded and the guards put their weapons away, he stuck his hand out to me. I took his hand and he gave me a strong, painful handshake

"I'm Agent Phil Coulson so, your the one who's needing to get checked in" he said while walking away, I quickly caught back up with him.

"what's so special about you that Fury personally asked you to join this team?" he asked while clicking some buttons on a giant screen/key board.

"well, um I have a telekenisis power which I use to make myself fly and I can also use any object, even person move and oh I can also read minds" I told him while thinking about touching a big button on the controls. I almost touched the button when Coulson came over and slapped my hand away.

"care to demonstrate?" he asked, irritation in his voice

I nodded and walked to a small clearing in the center of the room

I took a breath a twirled into the air

I heard the workers gasp and some oohh's and aaahhh's, I gently glided back down.

Coulson nodded, looking impressed.

"so" Coulson started, sitting on a chair

"how did you find S.H.I.E.L.D.?" he asked.

I jumped into the air and crossed my legs, hovoring.

"I didn't, they found me"

he nodded

"how old are you?"

"23"

Coulson looked shocked

"hm, Fury usually doesn't hire them this young"

he began to log all of this onto a tablet type thing.

Then a another agent ran in

"Agent Coulson, we're getting some high power radiation waves on the monitor, you should come take a look" he said.

Coulson jumped up and quickly walked out of the room with me on his heels.

We got to the monitors and I was looking at something I didn't understand at all, so I didn't really pay attention.

Just as I was messing with some fancy dial, the power flickered and all went quite
"I didn't do it"

"something with a lot of power just landed, everyone grab your gear, we're heading out" Coulson commanded, ignoring me.

We all walked to the SUV's as a unit and before Coulson got into the passenger seat he turned to me

"Ace I want you in the skies, heres a earpiece and a microphone, I want you to fly a few feet in front and tell us if you see any hostiles" he told me handing me a smal earpiece and wire.

I put the thing in my ear and nodded. I jumped into the air and followed the cars to the sight

"Ace, do you see anything?" I heard Coulson ask threw the ear piece

"nope, just a giant crater like thing" I told him honestly.

I dropped to the ground beside Coulson and gasped when I saw what made the crater, it was Thor's hammer.

Ok guys I'm gonna give you guys a little guideline to how my story goes. so basically I follow the Avengers story line but I add in a little diffrences and it's all in Ace's POV and she causes little diffrences here and there. but overall I quoted stuff from the movie and I have every movie mixed in like Thor, Iron Man, Avengers and I think I might put in Iron man 2 but I won't add Thor2 or Iron Man 3 until the sequel and they aren't in order either. and also because my other 2 stories havent had as much luck as this one I decided to stop working on those and completely focus my time on this one. oh and by the way schools out again tomorrow yay! this chapter didn't go like I would like it to like I don't think it flowed very well and I spend all day thinking on how to make it better and I just couldn't think of anything sorry but I could always use advice or comments and definatly votes so I know if you guys like my story. honestly I'm just surprised iv had so many people read this and I'm just so excited that I get more readers everyday.
