We were all sitting together at the dining room table for dinner and my wife cooked today. She let the woman who was massaging me stay because I married a way too kind woman here. Letting people she doesn't know stay for dinner. Damn.

"Uhm, so I never got your name." My wife says coming to sit on her seat by the table.

"Liyema." The massage therapist says with a soft smile.

"Nice name." I say nodding my head. She looks at me then smiles.

"Thank you." She says then I nod my head and take out my phone.

"So you let her massage you yet you didn't know her name?" Yoli asks then I shrug my shoulders.

"Well cause this would most probably be the last time. She just replaced Vanessa cause she wasn't feeling well." I say looking up at her. I go on Facebook and just scroll through there.

"Somebody is angry." Yoli says then I look at her and clench my jaw.

"How did you come to that conclusion?" I ask without looking at her.

"I was playing." She says then I shake my head.

"Anyways... How was your day?" I ask directing my attention to Elihle and Lihleli.

"Amazing. We went to Monte Casino and mama for the first time let us do whatever we wanted." He says then I smile.

"Nice. That means you put my money to good use." I say looking at Yoli then she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, whatever." She says then goes back to talking to Liyema and I turn too.

"And what did you do?" I ask looking at Lihleli." She was looking down then she looked up when Elihle nudged her arm.

"Oh. You talking to me?" She asks then I shrug my shoulders.

"Didn't do much. Just chilled with my friends." She says then I let out a sigh.

"Lihleli let's go." I say standing up then walk to the TV room. I wait for her then open the sliding door for her. She gets in then I get in right after and close the door. The TV room was made from glass doors and you could see the dining room table from there.

"Lihleli I don't like it when you like this. And now, I don't want to say I'm coming to you as your mother... I'm coming to you more like your friends who you'd tell anything to. Talk to me." I say looking at her.

"And you will not tell me to be respectful no matter what I say?" She asks then I let out a breath and nod my head. Now I have to react how I would've reacted some years back.

"It's umama. I know that I messed up and broke her trust and disrespected her, and I deserve to be punished, but at this point I don't even feel like she's my mother. Let alone loves me. She does anything and everything for Elihle and Asive, and it's like she forgets I'm still her child too. Her firstborn at that, but it's fine, cause maybe I took it way too far this time around." She says looking down. I look down then shake my head.

"The first thing Imma say to that is as much as she doesn't show it, that woman right there gave birth to you, and she loves you more than life itself. I think she just needs time, and trust me, the way she's acting is affecting this whole household, and Imma do everything I can to fix it." I say. I saw her leg shaking and like she was fighting back tears.

I looked to where she was looking and saw Yoli playing with Asive and showing Elihle what she was cooking and them laughing together.

I clenched my jaw and looked at Lihleli and now she was crying. Ahhhh. "Lihleli look... If you ever want to talk to a parent, I'll always be here no matter what you do. And I'll will try to support any and every decision you make, but when it's crazy, I won't let it slide." I say looking at her.
