The Affair

Chapter 12

It was past six in the night and I was on my way back to the crib. Actually I wasn't gonna stay long. I was just gonna pack a few clothes then be on my way. Oh yeah, and I asked Nathi to fetch the kids since I was gonna finish late in the office, so I was gonna grab my clothes drive to Liyema's, drop them off then fetch the kids at Nathi's place and drop them off at home.

So I arrived at home and opened the door. I saw Yolisa in the kitchen then passed by there. "Don't count me." I say then she looks back at me.

"So you going to eat supper with your whore?" She asks then I widen my eyes.

"Whore, wow okay. I don't have one, but okay." I say leaving her there. I go upstairs to our room and throw my phone on the bed then get in the closet.

I grab a few garment bags, around ten and pack ten of my suits in there. I grab a small suitcase and pack a few of my clothes in there and underwear all those things and I stepped out and got in the room, but what I saw in there ....

"What are you doing?" I ask looking at her and my phone.

She looks at me and tears were falling down her face. "Are you kidding me?" She asks then I go to grab my phone but she snatched it away from me.

"Yolisa give me my phone." I say as calmly as I can.

"Oh, you want your phone?" She asks raising her voice then she stands up.

"Yes." I say.

"There." She says throwing it against the wall and at that point I wasn't even gonna try and console myself by seeing if it works or its broken cause that was an iPhone and we all know that its broken.

"And this is why I'm cheating on you." I say going to my drawer with my watches and grab ten of them, five formal and five informal.

"So you not even sorry?" She asks then I look at her like she's dumb.

"For what? So you can tell me I'm not sorry, I'm just sorry I got caught. Bruh I'm not new to these conversations, we all know how this is gonna go, let's just save both of us the trouble and talk when we calm." I say then grab my watch boxes and put my watches in there.

"Ohhh, if you still think we going to talk you have another thing coming." She says going to the closet. I finish what I'm doing then get in the closet. I find her taking my stuff and throwing them on the floor.

"What are you doing?" I ask going to her and holding her on her upper arms.

"You are leaving. I don't want you in my house." She says then I open my mouth.

"Who's house?" I ask putting my hand behind my ear.

"My house." She says then I let out a chuckle.

"Your house." I say letting go of her and I sit on the sofa in the closet.

"Who bought this house?" I ask looking away from her. When she doesn't answer I look at her.

"Okay... Who pays for the water, the electricity and all the other things we need?" I ask but she doesn't answer.

"Okay, so these clothes." I say pointing at my side of the closet and the ones she threw on the floor.

"Are not going anywhere. I'm done here. I will leave you to put back these clothes, so that when I come back with my kids, they come to a home where clothes aren't scattered around like their parents are fighting okay?" I ask standing up and grab my bags.

"No." She says then I look at her.

"No?" I ask.

"Yes no. Lihleli and Elihle are old enough to see and understand what's going on in here. This morning they didn't ask where you were cause they already know. Asive on the other side, may be a bit clueless but I'm sure he can pick up a few things. So no. I'm not doing shit, and you leaving." She says then I bite my tongue.
