"Do you want to come with me to professor Snape?" you ask, looking at your friends. "I'll go with you, if you need it" says Blaise, the worry still written in his face. "I'll get leftover food from dinner and save it for you when you are ready to eat a little" suggests Pansy and leaves the group, leaving you and Blaise be.
"Listen, Y/N, when he asks you about what happened, you'll be honest. Say only what you remember, make sure to say whatever info isn't your own doesn't get mistaken as yours and stay in your comfort zone. You got this." Blaise supported you a lot and you quickly squeezed his arm as a thank you before slipping into the classroom and slowly closing the door. Snape wasn't there yet, or so you thought. Your body was so exhausted that you decided to rest your head on the table shortly, but you quickly fell asleep.

Someone gently shakes your shoulder, calling your name.
"I'd prefer you'd not use our meeting to catch up missing hours of sleep, Miss" says Snape and folds his hands, sitting across you at the table. Through the gloomy room you couldn't really read his expression.
"I'm sorry, professor. What did we meet for?"
"Originally, I wanted to know why there was a Slytherin holding his wand against another Slytherin's throat. Now I have more questions, though" Snape says and looks up and down your tired look, ruffled hair and crumbled clothes only finishing off the tired bags under your eyes.
It is hard to force your view back on to the professors face in front of you, like you wanted to climb the great wall of china without any climbing gear, help or experience. "Will it get me in trouble if I say something about the headmistress?" you ask, your voice trembling and shaking in fear.
"No", Snape says, as he seems to catch on. "I will only talk about this if you give your consent."
"Okay..." Slowly but surely you start telling your professor what had happened, though you don't manage to keep your tears in when you remember the pain Umbridge caused you. "Is it okay for you if I get in contact with Dumbledore about this?" asks Snape after you finish, he seems to hide a gulp. "Yes, that is okay."
"If you need mental or physical help, the medical bay can treat you. The break is about to start now anyway, so there's no need to send you home early" declares Snape and gestures you out. Strangely comforted, you leave the room, where Blaise leaning against a wall, waiting for you.
He immediately get's up and wipes your leftover tears. "You did great, I'm sure of that" reassures Blaise and hugs you tightly.
On your way back to the common room you met Pansy too, carrying leftovers with her. All of you sat together in the middle of the night, eating together, talking and laughing. It felt great after what you've experiencing, knowing you have friends that have your back and support you.

You ended the year with Dumbledore back, as well as Voldemort. Both of them on the cover of the Daily Prophet, the biggest theme during the breakfast.
"Say, Pansy, I don't think we really hanged out for a long time during the holidays, like ever" you said and took a bite out of your peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. "Oh yeah, we haven't yet. Are you suggesting a sleepover?"
"Maybe?"
"I'd love one, sure. We can always send an owl to each other and make a good date out."
"Can I come too?" asked Blaise and grinned. "Girls night. Though, you can stay until evening" you jokingly say and you all laugh together.
None of you really notice Draco poking his own food, drooping corners of the mouth and an occasional chuckle at something Crabbe or Goyle had said.

Both you and Blaise take a cabin home together, leaving Pansy with Draco. It was a great year, if you ignored Umbridge and what she did. You spend a great time with friends, did well on your O.W.L's and it felt like no time had passed at all.
The holidays to come only promised better, the next year as well.
