CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

SA LOOB ng tatlong taon na hindi nakakasama ni Worachet ang lalake, mas lalong lumalim ang nararamdaman niya para rito. He missed Anurak. So freaking much.

He even regretted leaving him without a proper explanation, but every time he wanted to go back and see him, Worachet would remind himself why he left in the first place.

I would not let myself be a burden to Anurak ever again. I'll be the best version of myself. I would be someone he could be proud to have as a partner. And I would not let myself be the reason for his downfall again.

Kaya naman sinigurado ni Worachet na makakapagtapos pa rin siya kahit nasa probinsya siya nag-aaral. He worked hard to be in the position where he is now.

Hindi naging madali para kay Worachet na pagsabayin ang pag-aaral at pagtatrabaho, lalo na at dumoble pa ang trabahong kinuha niya upang matulungan ang ina't kapatid.

But there were three people in his life that motivated him—that kept him going.

His mom, his brother... and Anurak.

The only man and person he ever loved, romantically speaking. The only person he'll give the right to hurt him. And the only person he would want to spend the rest of his life with.

Malaki rin ang paniniwala ni Worachet na sila talaga ang para sa isa't isa. Sa mga nakalipas na taon ay walang nabalitaan si Wor na naging kasintahan ng lalake. Kahit nga ay flings ay mukhang tinigilan nito.

Like what Wor expected, Anurak's eyes widened even more before he blinked numerous times.

Nang hindi sumagot ang lalake ay umupo na lang si Worachet saka ngumiti sa katapat bago malayang tinitigan ang mukha nito.

Worachet saw how Anurak was displeased with his words. "You'll attract more clients if you work for us. Plus, we could give you a lot more benefits as long as you'd be able to finish the blueprints fast but worth the price."

Ang side na ito ni Anurak ang hindi nakikita noon ni Worachet. The Anurak he knew would always smile at him. He would always have a light yet intimidating atmosphere around him. Bigla namang may nagdatingan na mga waiter saka inilapag ang mga pagkain sa lamesa nila. Napangiti naman si Worachet. "It looks like the end of your deal, Mr. Saetang, starts today." He took the napkin and put it on his lap. "Let's enjoy the food first and then I'll sign." Hindi mawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ni Wor habang patuloy siya sa pagkain.
