To say that today was the longest day of my life is an understatement. I am already dreading tomorrow being Monday, because that means that the first full week of school is here, whether I like it or not.
Once me and the girls wake up, we get dressed and go out to brunch. We end up wearing sweaters, because even though it's only September, Minnesota is starting to get really cold.

Our favorite place to go for brunch is the Original Pancake House in Edina. I swear they make the best pancakes ever. I mean it would make sense, because pancakes are literally in the restaurant's name.
As soon as we get there, our favorite waitress Martha spots us and immediately comes over to our table. She's like my second grandma, she always takes care of me when I come in. Whether I'm with my friends or family, she always makes sure that I'm well fed.
She reminds me so much of my grandma, which always makes me a little sad, because I miss her so much. But I'm also so grateful for her, because she has filled the role of my grandma for me. My family loves her just as much as I do.
