Remember how I mentioned that Adam's brother Zach is playing hockey at the University of Minnesota?

Well, I think now's a good time to say that my family is a Gophers family through and through.

Both of my parents went there, and that's how they met. They met Adam's parents there, and that's how they became friends. The reason the Banks family moved across the street from us was because my parents told Phil and Stacie that the house was up for sale. They bought it, and the rest is history.

So it's safe to say when Ty got an offer to play baseball there over the weekend, everyone is thrilled. I've wanted to play soccer there since I remember. One, to follow in my family's footsteps and go there as well, and two, because it's my dream school. I know that it's not the best soccer program when it comes to winning championships, but it's my dream to play for them.

My week has definitely been better than Adam's. Hearing about the prank war between JV and varsity, and then the dinner? I feel so bad for the Ducks. No one deserves to be treated that way. I don't really know who Rick Riley is, but I don't like him and what he's done to Adam.

Leaving his friends with an almost nine-hundred dollar dinner bill at one of the most expensive restaurants in the area after he and his teammates promised they would buy dinner? That's messed up, and Adam knows it.

Regardless of how long I've known him, I'm not associating myself with him if he continues to act like an ass. Being nice to people gets you much farther than being mean to them, and I always try to be the nicest person I can be.

On a more positive note, we won our first two games! We won our first one three-one. I had a goal and an assist. My assist was off of a corner kick, and it was so sick. The ball soared over the girls, and Callie jumped up as high as she could, allowing her to head the ball in, making it fly into the net over the goalie's fingers. My goal was also off a free kick, just outside the eighteen. I sent it top left corner, a perfect strike. I may have gone a little overboard celebrating, but it was my first goal during my high school career, so of course I was excited. Our second one was a simple one-nothing win, with Tatum scoring the goal. Starting off the season two and 0? I'm fine with that.

The new week has started, beginning with a science test, an english quiz, and a math test. How my teachers can manage to give me three exams on a Monday and think that I'll be in a good mood? Yeah right.

I'm dressed simply, in a red Gophers hoodie and some black Lulu leggings, paired with white Nike socks and my white high top Converse. I have my hair tied back in my signature high ponytail, even though I don't have soccer until later. I'll probably redo it, but I'm just too lazy to keep it down. I know a lot of people dress nice, especially coming to this school, but I don't care at all.

I try to ignore Adam as best as I can, even though we sit next to each other in science. I obviously ignore him because of the test in front of us, but it really doesn't help me get rid of my feelings for him when he taps me, whispering to ask what the answer is to twenty-six.

I quickly glance over to see if Mr. Kennedy is looking our way, because there is no way in hell I'm about to get caught cheating. I'm in luck, because he's on his computer. But I have to be quick, and I have to be quiet.

"It's B." I whisper as quietly as I can.

I look up quickly to see him give me a small thankful smile, before circling the answer and looking back to his test.
