Claire's POV

"Are you sure about Equinox?"

I gave my brother an assuring smile before answering his question. "Of course, Vin. Nandoon din naman sila Aubrey at Zyron so it's better para may kakilala ako."

"Well, that's your choice," he shrugged his shoulder before closing my baggage. Equinox is a boarding school at bukas na magsisimula ang first day ng third-year nila. I was from Leighton, where Harvin is studying right now. But I left there when that.. traumatizing event happened. It has been 2 years and I am going to continue my study.

"Ate, sure ka ba? Pwede naman akong lumipat sa elementary ng Equinox," I looked at my another and our younger sister, Alianna, when she spoke. I saw her leaning on my room's door.

I laughed. "Ako ang mas matanda sainyo pero ba't parang baliktad? Don't worry. Magiging ayos ako. Nandoon naman sila Aubrey at Zyron."

"I told you. You should have took your training back then," Vin said, referring to the mandatory training in OSI. OSI is an agency led by my great grandfather's friend, Uncle Philip, since my great grandfather retired already. It has headquarters in every continent and the Philippines was the chosen one in Asia. Ang ama ko naman ang Director doon.

"'Wag nga kayong mag-alala masyado. May time rin namang nag-trained ako ah," I defended myself.

"Call us when something went wrong," Vin told me.

"I will. Sige na. Matulog na kayo. May pasok pa kayo bukas," I said. Waving my hands in a dismiss way. They kissed my cheeks first before leaving my room. Our parents are still in their work right now. My mother, on the other hand, is the Chief Commander of Phoenix Organization. A private and independent military organization made by my grandfather. Mother side.

I saw my parents there, laughing about something they were talking about. When my mother saw me, agad siyang umalis sa pagkakayakap kay Daddy at tumakbo palapit sa akin na parang hindi kami nagkita ng matagal.

"Baby!" she hugged me even if she was still wearing her Phoenix officer polo. It suits her, though. "Bukas ka na pala mag-tatransfer 'no? Ihahatid ka namin."

"I'm 17 already, Mom. You don't need to babysit me- but okay, I would love to," I laughed before hugging her back. I walked towards my father's direction and I gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"How are you?" 'yon agad ang unang tanong niya. Alam ko na kung ano ang tinutukoy niya kaya tumango ako para hindi sila mag-alala.

"I'm fine, Dad. I'm excited for tomorrow!" I smiled upon thinking that I will be able to see Aubrey again!

"Nasaan na naman mga kapatid mo?" Mom asked. I was about to point their rooms on the second floor but I heard a shout inside our kitchen!

"Hala ka, Kuya. Sure ka bang 'di masusunog 'tong bahay sa ginagawa mo?!"

We rushed towards the kitchen and we saw my siblings there. They are preparing for our dinner tonight, huh?

"Are you sure that you two will not burn this house down?" Dad teased before rolling his sleeves up to his elbow. He removed two of his long polo's button before helping my brother. "What do you want for dinner?"

I thought he was asking my brothers but when he asked it again, nakatingin na siya sa amin. "Daing."

"If that what she wants, 'yon na din akin," Mom said. Dad winked at us before taking our uncooked daing. My mother and I loves seafoods that much.

Mom excused herself to take a bath while I stayed inside our dining room, my chin on my palm. I can clearly saw my father and brother and sister inside the kitchen. They are quarelling if they will put fried garlic on it.
