LONDON
Claire's POV
"We got a mission."
I took my coffee with me before following Zyron. We used the elevator to go to the department room of Drugs and Chems Operations. They called us in, looks like they got a hit at our target.
I received the call the moment I woke up earlier, saying a threat's emerging locally. A group of criminals is going to transport a huge chemical-made weapon ingredient later and the dep's doing everything to find him.
When we arrived at the room, our department head was staring into the large screen mounted against the wall. A live feed of a big house was projected in there.
"We got a hint, sir?" I asked. I looked back to the screen again and there was a square-shaped stuff in there but the heat signature was different than the others. It was a signature of gamma rays. "Nuclear?"
"Affirm. Sinabi na ng asset natin sa loob na nuclear ang isa sa ingredients ng ginagawa nilang weapon for mass destruction. They are going to ship that one to London tonight so we must stop them before they can make the transport," he said.
Ginagawa? "So that means they're not done yet?"
"Yes, at hindi din natin sila hahayaang matapos 'yan. Kailangan na natin um-aksyon nang mas maaga," he said and I nodded.
"If the chem's already finished, why are they still waiting for tonight to transport the thing?" Zyron asked. That's a good point.
"Hindi pa natin alam pero 'yan ang malalaman natin mamaya," Chief Caprahar said before turning his head to me. "Captain, I'll assemble the legion and meet me and your team in the meeting room."
"Copy that," I saluted at him before I called Zyron over. "Call Aubrey and Rian. They're at the cafeteria."
"Okay."
I stopped walking when my Phoenix phone vibrated. I let Zyron first to check it and the notification told me that it was from the Alice.

Can you take the lab results here?]
My forehead creased before yelling Zy's name, good thing he wasn't that far yet and there's only a few of officers in this hallway.
"Yeah?"
"Wait for me. I'll just take something in the Lab," I pointed my fingers behind me. He nodded and I began to walk my way to the Laboratory located at 4th floor. On my way there, I threw my empty coffee cup in a stainless steel step trash can.
When I arrived there, I saw Alice through the glass-made sliding doors. She was wearing her lab coat and holding a holographic projector device.
I ran my ID through the scanner. She noticed me immediately when the sliding doors opened. "Hey. What's up?"
"Here's the results of the chemical ingredient Chief Caprahar tasked us to examine," she handed over the projector device. "Most of it, like the others, were gamma rays. Sinabi rin ni Dric na high-tech 'yung pagkakagawa ng housing, perhaps someone's being an angel to them."
I looked at the projector first before giving her a smile to thank her. "Thanks, Alice. Don't tire yourself in here, alright?"
"I should be the one saying that. I didn't have the chance to visit you yesterday. I hope you're fine," she smiled a me a little. "Dric was so worried, he even made an investigatory project regarding the virus."
I chuckled. Dric said that he wanted to change but he's not doing it. "That's something he will do. Where is he, anyways?"
"He's working inside," she shook her head. "Seems like his efforts to reach this dream is paying off, hindi na talaga siya umalis ng lab."
