Third Person's POV

Adam gave Jay a smile before driving away. Jay fixed his suit and let out a sigh before taking his phone and the invitation card inside his blazer.

Binuksan niya cellphone niya at ang tracker na ginawa na para lang din sa kaniya. He put his thumb in it when the phone requested for a fingerprint at nang mag-access ay nakita niya na ang isang puting dot doon and it's moving.

It's from Claire's necklace that he managed to hack earlier. The another dot is the moving tracker of his another objective. Silas Bentley. He is an american and a high echelon of VENOM. The infamous modern and international terrorist organization that means Vendetta En Notorious Operations Mobilizations.

In United States and Philippines, he's using his "rich man" title to cover his evil acts such as ordering someone to kill somebody. He got into the Special Forces radar when he flew to the Philippines years ago pero dahil wala pa ring nahahanap na valid proof ang mga intelligence agencies na nakabuntot sa kaniya, nakakalakad pa rin siya nang malaya.

When he passed the entrance and the scanning thingy, pumasok na siya sa punong bulwagan. In his peripherical vision, he saw Claire and the her friends kaya binalik niya na ang phone niya sa blazer kasama ang invitation card.

Saktong paglapit niya ay ina-announce na ng babaeng host si Arman Brussce. After that, nawalan ng ilaw at natutok 'yon lahat sa gitna ng stage. The people inside are already clapping and shouting kahit na hindi pa lumalabas si Arman.

The curtains moved aside and suddenly, Jay looked back immediately when he heard a glass wall shattered. Something broke and went through from there.

The next thing happened was the chandelier on top of Arman made a sound bago 'yon mahulog.

"She's fine. She got a hard hit on her forehead, no sign of memory loss but we're still observing her. Some bruise on her side. Luckily, she didn't received any broken ribs, or worst, bones,"

"Thanks, Doc," Claire held his brother's hand tightly when she heard him sigh. The doctor excused himself before telling them that they can visit Jaja already.

"Let's go," Claire stood up at sumunod naman sa kaniya si Harvin. Claire twisted the door and they saw Ryle there, holding the hand of sleeping Jaja. When he noticed the two, agad niyang tinanggal ang hawak niya bago tumayo para batiin sila Claire.

"Seems like you knew what she had got already," wika nito at binigyan sila ng malungkot na ngiti. "I'll just buy a drink outside."

"Take care," Claire gave him a genuine and comforting smile. Ryle just gave her a nod before leaving. Nang masarado ang pinto ay napatingin si Claire sa kapatid. Harvin is just looking at Jaja while holding the rail of her hospital bed.

"I'll just.. go outside," Claire tapped his brother's shoulder at nang hindi sumagot ay lumabas na siya. She let out a sigh before leaning on the door.

She closed her eyes. "What a day.."

"Claire!"

Napatingin siya agad sa kaliwa nang marinig ang boses ng ina niya. Stefanie's with Gavin and they are both rushing towards her. "Hey.. we heard what happened. How are you and the three?"

"They are good. The doctor said that Jaliyah had got a hit on her forehead but no sign of any brain damage. She got bruised but no broken bones," Claire answered and accepted her parents' hug.
