FEELINGS

Jay's POV

"Ah.."

I groaned as I felt something heavy on my hand. I rubbed my eyes using my left hand because I couldn't move the other one because of an unknown reason.

"Why is this so heav.." I stopped complaining when I saw Claire resting her head on the side of my hospital bed. Her head was resting on my hand, the reason why it was heavy.

I smiled while looking at her. She seemed so tired. Her sleeping-yet-gorgeous face was facing me. And now.. seeing her this close, I noticed how the features of her face changed. How nice to find a flaw.

She looked more real matured and intimidating now. The last time I saw her was before her training in Phoenix. I was one of those who she talked with before she started the training.

Then, her face was more of the softie type. Like she could break any seconds if you will talk to her in a harsh way, or curse her harshly. Tell her words that might break her so much because she was fragile.

Now, it's the total opposite. By just looking at her, you will see how strong and intimidating she is by just looking at her face. I missed her soft face. I used to stare at that back then, but I love the strong face she have today. I'd prefer that way.

Napakurap ako nang igalaw niya ang ulo niya. Was I staring too much? I guess I was. I was empty-minded the whole time.

She yawned before she looked at me, her eyes were still half close. "Oh. You're awake. Good to know."

"Yeah. Thanks to your head," I told her sarcastically. "Where are we, by the way? This room isn't the hospital room-type in Philippines."

This one's not the type of hospital rooms in Philippines. Marbled floors and this room seems like a holding cell. Hold.. what the.. have they found my power?"

"You're not in Philippines yet. You're in a secured headquarters of OSI," she answered as she stood up. "You lost your consciousness on our way here to destroy the plutonium for good."

"I did?" I asked. That explained why I can't recall some of the memories I had earlier. "Thanks."

Her brows furrowed. "Thanks for what?"

"For bringing me here," I answered simply. "Even if I'm not an OSI agent."

"Don't thank me. Thank Harvin," she said. "He's the one who requested for a visitor pass. This HQ's off-limits to any people who's not affliated with OSI."

"I'll keep that in mind," I told her. The man has been helping me since the abduction of my sister 9 years ago. I should treat him something someday.

I sat and leaned my back to the back rest of my hospital bed as I wandered my eyes around again. Tile-made walls and a marble floor. I gotta say, this was the first time I saw something like it.

When I remembered something, I looked at my phone immediately but I didn't find it anywhare. "Val, my phone?"

Claire turned her head and looked around. "I don't have it. If you're going to update your little sister, I've done it already on our way here."

I blinked, like multiple times. How did she know that I was looking for my cellphone to update my sister?

Oh, well, why was I surprised? She's not a Captain for nothing. "Nevermind. Thank you, by the way."

Only God knows how I wanted to communicate with my sister today. I've been in silent the whole day because of the operation in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles.. fuck. The more I remember, the more confusion I get. We had her but someone took her from us while we were on our way to the airport. The ones who took her also took us with her.
