BEGAN

Third Person's POV

When Claire's parents went back from their voting precinct, she excused herself to drink something.

She went to Eury's room to tell her what Harvin suggested earlier, that he knew a therapist that could help her regarding on what happened to her.

She saw her there, laughing with something she's watching. "Oh, hey, bebe!"

"Don't force yourself, Eury," she frowned.

You're over-reacting ka," she joked. Claire sighed before sitting onto the chair beside her hospital bed.

Claire smiled when she saw that she was improving. She held her hand gently before caressing it. "How are you?"

"Happy!" Eury's lips formed into a smile before pointing the wall-mounted television. "My presidential candidate is winning! Talagang aayos na ang Pilipinas. Sana!"

A smile also formed in Claire's lips after seeing the votes for the right candidate. Presidential candidate Melissa Villegas is currently on top of the Presidential Race with over partial and unofficial three million votes.

"That's good. If voter na ako, my vote will also go for her," Claire smiled. "Missus Villegas is the best there is. She proved that women are more powerful than men, a lot of times."

"Yeess! Kaya nga kanina pa nagpatugtog ako ng 'Man' ni Taylor!" Eury's smile grew wider. An avid Swiftie. "I'm glad that I grew witnessing the youths fighting for their future. Literal goosebumps."

Claire nodded her head, smiling too. She saw a lot of debates on social media platforms. Youths versus the older ones, the ones who can vote.

She even saw Eury there, debating, and some of her friends including Javier, Aubrey and Zyron. All of them, they tried to put the people they debated with into the light and never vote for a man who broke rules and laws twice.

But they didn't. They chose to stay on their candidate and her friends respected that. They can't always force or tell a person to switch side because they have a mind of their own.

Spreading facts about their righteous candidates was one of the best thing that happened during the campaign before the election.

Despite of being called "bata" and "hindi botante", and the older ones belittling them and their opinions and the facts they spread, they chose to fight because it was their right.

Their future.

Claire remembered the talk between her and his brother earlier so she looked back at Eury. "Anyways, I don't mean to open some scars but if you want.. Harvin knows a therapist. He can help you."

Eury nodded slowly. "You don't need to, Val. Dad and Mom found a therapist already. Pwede na akong makapag-session once I'm ready. Still, please tell Harvin that I appreciate his offer. Thank you talaga."

"Ayos lang 'no. You know that we will help you recover in any means," Claire assured her. "If you need help, nandito lang ako, or kami palagi. Alam mo naman 'yan."

"Of course," Eury giggled. "That's why I am so lucky to have you all in my life! Hindi ko alam kung anong mangyayari kung wala kayo sa tabi ko."

"We are beyond lucky to have you, too," Claire giggled before playing with Eury's fingers. "Recover for you and us, Eury. Justice will be served. Trust me."
