PLUTONIUM
Third Person's POV
"Here?"
Claire nodded at Aubrey while her eyes were focused on the files she's reading. It's about the operation that they're going to initiate tonight in Middle East. They are already on their way using the private airplane of Phoenix.
It's about a stolen plutonium that could create a big problem in globals security once it exploded. The report said that it was from Philippine's soil so it's part of their premises.
It was also stated that a terrorist attack would emerge in Middle East so they are alerting the local police and military there. Phoenix's job is to take it in a specific OSI base where they will destroy the highly-dangerous bomb.
"Drink, Val. You're too focused on that thing. Take a rest," she laughed a little as she closed the folder. Nilapag niya 'yon sa side table na katabi ng inuupuan niyang sofa bago kuhanin ang wine na kanina pa inaalok ni Aubrey.
"I don't want to miss even a little information so we can finish this one clean and in-book," she said as she sipped on her wine. She crossed her legs as she rotated her head to massage it while closing her eyes. "I just hope that we won't have to kill someone."
"You're afraid to kill someone?"
She opened her eyes and frowned at Zyron when she saw him walking towards their location. "I don't. It's my concience attacking me afterwards I'm worried about."
"You'll get used to it," Zyron shrugged his shoulders. "Bad guys die because they deserved it. That's it."
"Of course you would say that," Aubrey mocked and rolled her eyes. She crossed her legs as she put her elbow on the arm rest. "Seems like we're closing."
Claire nodded while staring in the clouds through the window of their plane. She rested her head on the head rest. "Nope. The plane's just fast."
She closed her eyes, trying to find some nat but it didn't work. She's been investigating and gathering intelligence about this matter for the past seven hours and she didn't sleep during those hours.
Her first day yesterday was tiring because she needed to know everything about the department she's in. Drugs and Chemicals. She was also tired because of the interactions she did.
"Go, Val. We got this one. You should rest," Zyron told her. "Your parents wouldn't like seeing you in this state. You have no eye bags but your face scream tiredness. It's lessening your beauty."
"Whatever," Claire laughed tiredly. "Okay. I'll rest. Wake me up once we landed."
"Roger, Captain."
She gave the two a smile before she removed her black blazer. Leaving her in her white blouse. She also dismantled her gun holster containing her Glock 19.
She put it on the side table before she laid on her side. She crossed her arms as closed her eyes. "Ah.. finally. Something comfortable."

Claire's POV
"We're here. Here's your blazer,"
I thanked Aubrey when she handed over my jacket. I looked through the small mirror as I grabbed a handful of my full hair and pushed it back.
I checked my face and good thing I had no dirty stuffs across my face. I fixed my blazer and my blouse before I attached my holster in my belt loop. I made sure that my gun's safety lock was engaged before I put it in.
