DANGER

Third Person's POV

"Hey! May Phoenix officers daw sa gate,"

"What? Why is that?" Claire asked while cutting the papers one by one. It was for her project that she will pass tomorrow since the classes were postponed after what happened earlier.

"Ewan, babae. But not your mothers,"

Aubrey and Claire looked at each other with a baffled look before Aubrey excused herself at sumabay naman sa kaniya si Entice. Claire set the papers aside before striding to the door.

Tumingin siya sa paligid nang makalabas at may ilang tumatakbo papunta sa balcony. She sauntered towards the balcony of their floor and her forehead creased when she saw a female officer wearing a dark gray dress uniform.

Her mouth gaped slightly open when she saw her aunt. Nagulat din si Aubrey nang makita. "Isn't that.."

Claire interjected. "Yeah. Tita Lianne."

Her mother's brother's wife, Lianne, is seen at the entrance of the campus with few Phoenix officers behind her. Two of them stayed at the gate. She talked with the rest first before the men split up. One stayed at her side before they walkes towards the teacher who greeted them.

"That's your auntie?" Entice whispered to them with a bemused tone and a puzzled expression. Lianne from below looked up to check their floor after the teacher pointed it when she asked which floor Claire's in.

Her auntie gave her a smile before gesturing her to come down. She excused herself to the two before taking the stairs to go at her. Nang makarating doon ay agad siyang binigyan ulit ng ngiti ng Tita niya.

"Val," she greeted before sauntering to her and hugging her. Claire hugged back and pressed her head more when Lianne was rubbing her back. "How are you?"

"I'm good po," she answered with an assuring smile. "Si Mommy, Tita? Where is she? She hasn't called me after bringing me here."

"Ah, she's outside the country," Lianne told her. "There's something she needs to deal with at London and Nixon's the in-charge. It's a busy day for him so he sent me instead."

"Did he tell everything to Mom?" she asked. She didn't want to scare or cause some problems to her mother now that Lianne told her that she's busy.

"Oo, don't worry. He called me before I arrived here," she said. "He assured Stef that you're good and safe.. as of now."

When a school staff appeared and told them that the meeting room was already prepared, her auntie asked her if she wanted to go with her and she nodded. "Yes po. I want to know what happened.

Lianne nodded before she put her arms on her shoulder. They walked to the second floor of the Admin Building with one Phoenix officer acting as their body guard. Nang makapasok sa kwarto ay si Lianne na ang nagbigay ng upuan kay Claire.

The meeting started with the formal introduction. Lianne followed after Miss Geronimo introduced herself. "I'm Lianne Monroe of Phoenix organization. I went here because of the attempted assassination and for my niece, also."

"Thanks for the concern, Missus Monroe. We saved the footage earlier and we did look for some student with the same face but we found nothing. Here,"

Claire watched as Miss Geronimo typed the keys on her laptop's keyboard before she turned the screen to them so they can watch the video. Lianne moved it closer before playing the feed.

The video started with a peaceful hallway full of students in every break time. Claire was seen with her back facing the camera when she entered the hallway from the side entrance.
