Chapter 02

BULLIES

Jay's POV

"Una na 'ko, par!"

I gave my roommate a smile and nodded. "Sige. Susunod ako."

I took my backpack and my phone inside my pocket before I went outside. I was not the only one who is late for our class today but I guess our subject teacher will understand it.

I spent my first week here monitoring my sister because of what I have heard last week. I also searched for a girl named Stephanette and I found one.

Well, mayaman siya and she is the second child of Alejandro Concepcion. The Chairman of Concepcion Group of Companies. I saw her records here in Equinox and she has a lot of guidance records.

Concepcion Group of Companies is the bigger shareholder of Equinox so it makes sense if her records keeps on slipping. It was like she treated herself as a Queen of this campus just because her parents is the biggest shareholder of Equinox.

Her younger brother, Daniel, is also a known bully here in Equinox. A tag-team. Stephanette is the Queen and Daniel is her knight in shining armor whenever she's getting humiliated.

I need to accompany my sister first kaya lumabas na ako at naglakad papunta sa dormitory nila. I saw her talking with a boy so I just stood here and waited for her.

When she noticed me, I saw how her lips rosed up before rushing towards my direction. "Kuya!"

"Good morning!" I gave her a smile and patted her hair. "How was your sleep? Don't you know how to use a phone, huh? You're not replying to my messages."

"I was busy playing," she said. "Mamaya, magrereply ako. Tara na! Malalate tayo!"

We walked our way to her room while talking about how our first week went. When we reached her room, I gave her backpack that I was bringing earlier. "Here."

"Salamat, Kuya," she gave me a genuine smile. "Oo nga pala, bago ko makalimutan! Can you please ask for an autograph for me?"

"To?"

"Kaklase mo si Ate Claire, 'di ba? Hingan mo ako!" she said and clasped her hands to show that she is genuine about her request.

"Will do," I gave her an assuring smile. "Take care of yourself here."

"Will do!"

"Good,"

When I arrived at the room, I saw half of the class talking with the new transferee. Claire. Boys started to go here just to see her angelic and soft face, it screams goodness.

I will be a hypocrite if I will not admit that I don't find her gorgeous. Talagang namang maganda siya, her kind and softness also helps her to become famous here. Isang linggo palang pero marami nang nagkakagusto sa kaniya.

I made my way to my seat but I noticed a boy readying her foot to trip me. I laughed inside my mind when he extended it but I took another step to avoid it.

I put my bag on my seat before the notebooks and my ballpen. I put my chin on my palm while watching the campus soccer team play at the field. Grandpa said that I loved soccer when I was a kid pero ni isang memorya ay wala akong maalala.

Our first subject finished and we had a ten minutes break before Mister Santamesa came inside. Filipino na ang subject namin ngayon at ang topic ay about sa Pabula.

"Ngayon ay natapos na nating sagutin ang tanong na "Ano nga ba ang Parabula?" Ngayon naman.. may makakapagbigay ba ng mga halimbawa nito?" he asked while writing the word 'Parabula' on the white board.
