Several days have passed, and the same situation repeated for both of them. Despite Fiona's coldness, Irene continues to make up for her past mistakes.

She doesn't lose hope. As long as she can talk to Fiona, she feels happy. She's satisfied knowing that her daughter appreciates her from time to time.

Today, she is going back to Forbes to get her things because she received a special invitation for the CKC orchestra event.

Before heading back to Forbes, she went to her daughter's room. It's 6 am, and she knows that Fiona is still sound asleep.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw Fiona peacefully sleeping. Instead of waking her up, Irene took a pen and a piece of paper and wrote something on her daughter's study table.

"Take care, anak. I have to go," she said in a hurry, gently pulling down the comforter to reveal Fiona's innocent face.

"I'll be back, anak. Babalikan ka ni, mama," she whispered before kissing her on the cheek. Irene left the room and went downstairs.

"Manang, pakibantayan ng maayos si, Fiona. Huwag mong hahayaang lumabas ng walang kasamang security." Irene commanded the maid. She bowed her head and nodded.

"Ako na ang bahala, iha." She replied. Irene began to walked out of the house and climbed in the car.

"Sa Forbes, Kuya June." Irene said.

He nodded and started the engine. While on the way, Irene opened her cellphone and texted her sister, Imee, to let her know that she will be away for 5 days.

As soon as she arrived at their house, she went straight to their room. Greggy, on the other hand, saw his wife entering their room.

Greggy derisively asked, "Akala ko hindi ka na uuwi?"

"Parang wala kang pamilyang iniwan dito, ha? Irene naman." Greggy said.

He was disappointed that his wife no longer paid attention to him, no longer had time for him. He knew where she went.

Irene didn't say anything. She felt guilty for leaving him, but she couldn't bear the fact that her husband had no intention of reuniting with their family, which is why she distanced herself.

Greggy screeched, "Irene, kinakausap kita!"

"Ano ba, Greggy! You already know the reason! Kailangan ko pa ba isa-isahin sayo?!" Irene exclaimed. Greggy gripped her shoulders.

"You mean your nonsense reasons?" Greggy asked.

"Come on, Irene. Nagpapaniwala ka agad kay Fiona? 12 years Irene at maniniwala ka agad-agad?" Irene sharply raised her head and locked her gaze on him.

"Bullshit, Gregorio! Tama ka nga, 12 years,12 years tayong niloko ni Clara! Walang kasalanan si Fiona sa mga nangyayari at ngayon? You still have the audacity to say that to me?!" Irene shouted at him.

"What do you want me to do? Believe in Clara's lies and nonsense?! Wake up, Greggy!" She added.

Greggy fell silent after Irene's words.

Irene closed her eyes and stopped what she was doing. "What do you want?" she asked coldly.

Greggy swallowed a lump. He already knows that his wife is now mad. "B-bakit ngayon ka lang umuwi?"
