....

The morning arrived, with sunlight peeking through the small gap in the large curtain covering the window.

A nearly perfect family was sound asleep in Fiona's spacious king-sized bed, even though it was already 11:00 am.

Greggy was cuddling his daughter, with Fiona's head comfortably resting on his arm. Irene had her head on Fiona's belly.

Feeling a heavy weight on her stomach, a sleepy Fiona tried to adjust her position, hugging her snoring father.

Irene's head fell onto the soft bed, which made her eyes pop open.

Lifting her head, Irene realized the funny situation they were in. She put on her glasses, and once her vision cleared, she couldn't help but laugh at the sight of her daughter clinging tightly to Greggy.

She quickly reached for her phone and took a picture of the amusing scene. After that, she stretched her arms out.

"Kapit na kapit naman si mood shifter," Irene laughed softly.

Getting out of bed, Irene washed her face. Fiona's hungry stomach made her laugh, realizing they hadn't had dinner the night before.

"Food," Fiona mumbled with her eyes still closed, eliciting laughter.

Then, Irene had a brilliant idea to surprise Fiona with a small celebration at Saud Beach later.

She quickly called the receptionist at the beach hotel and asked them to prepare their finest dishes for the later's celebration.

After their brief conversation, Irene decided to cook breakfast for them. Before leaving the room, she planted a kiss on her daughter's cheek. Greggy noticed and called out to her just as she was about to turn the doorknob.

"Hon." Greggy called her in a hushed tone.

Irene focused her gaze on Greggy, who motioned for her to come closer.

"Bakit?" Irene asked. Greggy pointed towards their daughter.

"I can't breathe. Kapit na kapit. Ayaw akong bitawan," Greggy whispered.

He attempted to untangle Fiona's hand from his body, but she stubbornly held on.

"Bibitawan ka niyan kapag nagising yan, for sure hon. Baka awayin ka pa," Irene joked.

"Hayaan mo nalang muna. It's your chance, but be prepared if she wakes up," Irene said as she kissed his lips.

As Irene was about to leave, Greggy stopped her for the second time.

"Ano na naman? Let her hug you muna." Irene said. Greggy signaled her.

"Huwag moko iwan dito. Di ako handa kapag gumising 'to. Mamaya bugahan pa ako ng apoy niyan." Greggy said and held Irene's hand.

"Osige, magpapaluto ako kay Manang. Hayy naku, wala ka pala diyan sa anak mo. Matatakutin ka pala." Irene made fun of him.

Irene headed downstairs to instruct the maids to prepare brunch for them. She quickly returned to her room afterwards.

Greggy's face lit up upon seeing his wife's return. He felt anxious about how their daughter would react once she woke up.

"Enjoyin mo na yan, bahala ka. Baka mamaya ayaw na naman sayo." Irene said to her husband.

Greggy gestured for Irene to lie down beside him, as there was still some space. Irene sat down next to Greggy and rested her head against his chest.

"She looks a lot like you, no, hon? She has everything on you. You looked like a twin," Greggy said as he stroked her hair.
