You groaned out in frustration at the clock, it seemed as though it hadn't budged since you looked at it five minutes ago. Running your hands down your face, your eyes focused back on your computer screen. Only an hour to go, it was all you could tell yourself to make the rest of your work more bearable. Hearing your phone vibrate against your desk, your eyes flickered down for a moment, trying to figure out who it could be. Smiling as you clocked Robin's name, you picked up your phone, your smile quickly dissipating as you noticed it was for the group chat.

Luffy and the group had set up the chat for when you all left high school, it was just ironic that you all still used it. Not that you all never meet up, it's just finding the time to see all of the old gang. Yet, as Robin's work was more flexible compared to others; you had found yourself meeting up with Robin a lot. Swiping at your phone's screen, you opened the group chat, scrolling up through the previous messages. Most was Usopp complaining about his day and Luffy laughing at him.

I'm sorry your day wasn't the best, Usopp. Hang in there. [16:01]

You always appreciated Robin's kindness. No matter what anyone did, she would always show a smile, no matter how bad your day was, she would always be there to give you comforting words. Robin had become the mother of the group, as she was the one everyone ran to when they wanted assurance, comfort or just someone to complain to.

You let out a laugh as you read Usopp's message. Setting your phone down, your eyes focused on the remaining work that was left. Hearing your phone vibrate again, you took a glance at the message that popped up.

Chuckling at their antics, you ran your hand through your hair before stretching out your arms, hearing the usual pop of your bones. Seeing the shadow fall over you, you swivelled round in your chair, your smile falling as your eyes landed on your ex. "What ya laughing at, gorgeous?" He questioned, trying to peak at your computer screen to see if there was anything interesting going on. Desperately holding back the eye roll that was ready to happen, you feigned a smile.

"Nothing. What can I help you with?" You replied, trying to end this conversation as quickly as you could. You could hear your phone go off like crazy behind you, wondering what was going on, you reached behind and grabbed your phone. It was only the group chat. Apparently, Luffy's grandad had found out Luffy worked for his grandad's rivalling company and it wasn't going down well.
