Hihiii! Back with another request! This one was almost frustrating to write in the sense of how Boa's character is. Trying to shift her attention from Luffy to the reader is almost all impossible of you're going canonically, so all the little scene's where her gaze would last a little longer, her thoughts of the reader would always linger and how she would go out her way for the reader. Anywayyyy, excluding that detail, it was actually fun to write.

This is slightly angst?? I guess you could say that. Not entirely, just overall depressing until its not. Is basically:

In love with another, sunshine gf x Loves her but pretends to be an apathetic best friend, gf

Also, i just noticed this book is at nearly 500k reads, wtf?? Thank you so much in advance, that's so crazy, holy shit. You lot are amazing, I literally couldn't ask for better readers <3

Sat in the back of the room, watching as Boa ran her mouth about how proud she was over the Strawhat's Captain's new bounty. You couldn't help the twinge of jealousy you felt, something that was quickly followed by disappointment. You were aware of how hard the Snake Princess' feelings were for the Captain of the world wide laughable gang, whether calling them that was of your own pettiness or a valid comment, it was one that would never be found out.

As she twirled on her heel, carefully she shoved the wanted poster into your face. "Did you see?!" Boa beamed loudly, tearing the paper away from your face she hugged it close to her chest. "I'm so proud of him!"

You knew your feelings on the matter and you knew your feelings for the Snake Princess. Not that the other female herself had took time to notice, with her never wavering attention on the Strawhat Captain, she never tried to look elsewhere and for this, you knew your place. You knew where you stayed. For years it stayed this way but as time grew on, the more hurtful it became.

No matter how hard you tried to devoid your attention elsewhere; Boa would always demand it back, whether intentional or not.

Feeling a quick nudge at your side, Sandersonia had slid herself to your left, her eyes glued to her sister as she twirled around with that damn poster. "Better wipe that annoyed look off your face before she mentions it." Sandersonia mused pathetically, her hand finding its place on your shoulder in comfort. Stealing a glance at Hancock, you snorted in a sarcastic retort.

"She's so busy with that fuck-" Taking a deep breath, you smiled. Ridding yourself of any annoyance, anger or sheer jealousy you felt. "She's too occupied with the Strawhat's poster, she wont notice anything."

"Are you okay?"

There was a moment of silence shared between you both, a silence filled with truth. You weren't okay and it was known, but to verbalise it was a different matter. Blankly staring ahead, the smile that had befallen your lips was quickly replaced. Glancing at the middle sister, you sighed. "I'm okay. As I say, she's happy-"

"You're happy, I know." Sandersonia huffed. Feeling her hand slide up to your chin, a saddened expression on her face as she tilted your face her way. "But how long is that going to last?"

"Until it doesn't."

"[Name], loving someone shouldn't be a chore. Don't work yourself down to the bone over someone who wont love you back."

It stung. You couldn't lie about that. But, cold hard truth was what you needed to hear, whether it worked or not, only time would tell.  Still, it hurt nonetheless. The more you watched Boa fawn over the love of her life, the more you had to get away from the happy situation.
