[Law x Reader] (Mordern Au/Soulmate)

Okay. Kinda made up this one, everything is black and white apart from two things! Your hand and your soulmate's hand, your hand is glowing Orange and your Soulmates hand is glowing Blue. You also have the date you would meet your soulmate. Anyway, enjoy.  

You sat in school, along with your best friends. As crazy as they are, you loved them. "[Y/n]!" Luffy called as he grabbed your arm and looked at the date, "You're meeting your soulmate today!" He called out happily, of course, he would be happy, Luffy is happy about almost everything. You gave him a wary smile as you nodded. "Nervous?" Nami asked as she looked at your arm, you couldn't help but sigh and run your hands down your face. "Yep," You muttered.

"Luffy!" A voice yelled out, you and your friends already knew who it was, Boa Hancock. As you all looked over at her there was a dark part on her face, which indicates that she's blushing. You laugh as you turn to Luffy and say: "Oh god, Luffy run". By the time you said that he was already a few feet away from all of you. "Already one step ahead of you!" He yelled as he kept running, causing everyone to laugh. "Luffy! Wait!" Boa called out as she waved to him and started to run to him.

This is what your day usually went like, hanging out with your friends at break and lunch, but Luffy having to leave early as always because he was usually chased away by Boa, which everyone found hilarious apart from Sanji. "I don't get it, she knows they aren't soulmates, yet she still tries..." You said as everyone just shrugged, "I wonder what would happen if she actually did meet her soulmate" Robin commented as she looked up from her book. "Probably ditch him and go to find Luffy," Chopper added causing everyone to laugh at the thought. "I'd feel sorry for both of the men, " Nami said as she placed her hand on her hip, the Bell rang, indicating lunch was over and you had to go back to class.

Once you got to class you sat down and half way through the class you saw something for a brief moment, that was a blue colour glowing, you kept looking towards the door, blinking. "[Y/n]?" You heard Nami whisper, you kept looking at the door and the blue came back as it waved into the class, directly at you. But it was only the hand, you kept staring at the door, the hand left and Nami poked your shoulder. "Huh? What?" You whispered as you looked at Nami. "What was that about, you got... I don't even know what happened when that person waved into the classroom you smiled. Why?" Nami asked whispering, you saw the teacher look up at you two so you grabbed a piece of paper out your bag and wrote: 'His hand was blue'.

This caused Nami to grin, you could tell she was trying not to squeal as she wrote back: 'No way! Did you see who it was?'

Sadly you didn't, you only saw the blue glow from his hand and that was it. 'No, unfortunately...' you wrote back. "Miss [Y/n]! Could you tell me the answer to Question Twenty-five?" Your math teacher called out, you gave him a confused look, "sir, we haven't got to Question Twenty-five yet, we're on Question eighteen," you said as you looked up at him, he smiled and nodded. "At least you were listening, please look while you're listening as well." He asked as you nodded. You looked at Nami and whispered: "I'll text you tonight and talk to you about it, alright?", she nodded as she began to write down the stuff on the board.

After school you walked to your favourite cafe you always go to after school, you would order your favourite drink and sit at a table while reading your book. As you walked up to the counter your favourite staff member, Who's name was shanks, who always served you smiled, "Ah! [Y/n]! What would you like today? The usual?" He asked and you nodded, "alright, I'll bring it over to ya!"  He said and you nodded as you walked over to your table, the one that's by the window.
