{I'm Yours} [Luffy x Blind!Reader] (Rewritten)

Softly feeling your way around the table, memorising every turn, dents and holes as you navigated yourself to yours seat. Feeling someone pull your seat back for you, you smiled, thanking the kind crew member. As you sat down, they pushed the chair in for you. "Thank you," you commented, now navigating around your end of the table for the napkin, upon finding it, you spread it across your lap.

"No problem, [Name]!" Usopp chirped, you loved how kind of a soul Usopp was, he would always go out of his way to make sure you found your way to places, at first it annoyed you. It felt as if they were always walking on eggshells, hoping you wouldn't fall, get hurt or walk into things. It had took you sometime to get familiar with your newfound surroundings, but that was to be expected. Soon, you had found this was just Usopp being himself, always making sure you were where you had to be. As they all did.

Finding your tankard, you raised it to your lips, the hint of alcohol, a strong one at that; filled your nostrils. Scrunching up your nose, you carefully sat it down. "Is that Zoro's?" You questioned, robbing your nose, as if it would get the smell away. Zoro looked down at the tankard in his own hands, he had yet to even try it. He chuckled as he tasted your usual juice, passing the tankard down the table, you smiled in thanks. Finally tasting your favourite juice.

"Thank you." You spoke, leaning on the table, you placed you head on your hand, patiently awaiting for your food. Feeling a pat on your shoulder, you turned to the right, "what's up?"

"Oi, oi, [Name], have a thumb war with me!" Luffy chuckled, you could hear his chair shuffling closer to your own, the legs of the chair scraping against the woods of the floor, a shiver running down your back, you hated the noise. It was as if nails dragging down a chalkboard, although, not as loud. You managed to stifle a laugh, not wanting to be too blunt with him, despite realising that would maybe be the best way. Not wanting to make the others uncomfortable, you simply hinted.

"Luffy, I would if I could."

"What do you mean?"

Covering your face with your hands, small bursts of giggles escaping. You managed to keep some of your composure, finally facing him once more, you sighed. "Honey, I can't see." You stated, leaning your head on you hands once more, smiling away at the boy. Slightly mad you couldn't see what kind of expression he wore, there was a silence in the room. Shifting in your seat, you wanted to apologise.

"Luffy, you idiot." Sanji scoffed from the kitchen.

"Yeah! Who asks someone who can't see to play a thumb war?" Usopp huffed, still, Luffy saw no wrong in what he had asked, simply tilting his head, he looked back at you. Who sat absolutely bewildered. "Don't look back at her for help. You said what you said."

"She can still play!" Luffy defended, sulking away in his chair after being torn into. "I can close my eyes!"

This man continuously surprised you, perking up, you shuffled in your seat, getting into a comfortable position as you faced Luffy. Holding out your hand, he took it, waiting for your words. "Fine, you're on, Captain. But those eyes better stay shut! Usopp, you're our referee."

"Yes, ma'am!" He called. Usopp stood behind you both, telling you once Luffy had closed his eyes. Finally Usopp began to count down and when he finished, the thumb war began. A very quick one at that.

Luffy, sat back in his chair, sulking away. You had quickly won the embarrassing match, once you had, Luffy demanded a rematch, yet was swiftly shot down as Sanji called out for dinner. Finally handing out the deliciously smelling food, you all dug into your food once their plate had hit the table. Hearing Sanji muttering something about being animals, you lightly chuckled.
