The way I was actually tempted to change the character for this because it felt too out of touch with Sabo's character. But then the idea of Sabo saying this had me weak in the knees and kicking my feet. So, Sabo it stays.

I had personal things going on, so I apologise for the late in uploading. I also stayed up for about 24 hours and then went to work without sleep to finish this, love me pls 🙌😭 I do this for you all

You sat in the base of operations of the Revolution Army, your boyfriend awkwardly sat with his arm loosely around your waist as you sat and listened to Koala rant on and on. Mainly ranting about how she was sick of Sabo's relationship, how she hardly ever saw him and how he had no time for anyone else outside of work and his girlfriend. You couldn't think of any way to calm her down because she was right, but still, Koala had a habit of taking things too personally.

"Hey, hun, don't you think-" you tried to speak up, but Koala whipped around mid-rant and started to turn red in the face.

"And don't even get me started about this ball!" She huffed, finally taking a much-needed gasp of air.

"What about the ball?" You questioned the smaller female.

"Every year we hold one! Every single year. But for some reason, Dragon is adamantly refusing to hold on! It's not fair!" She groaned, finally throwing herself down onto the couch, and sinking into it. You felt bad for the female, the ball was a yearly thing as it was for the members of the Revolution to unwind and relax, to take their mind off work even for a moment. To not have to worry about a thing just for one night.

"Koala, don't you think he maybe has a reason?"

"A reason that he wouldn't tell us? Tell Sabo?"

"Maybe some things he just has to keep to himself."

Koala sat in her bubble of frustration, as you took your place next to your boyfriend. Who simply shrugged your hand off his shoulder. Shuffling awkwardly, you tried to raise a point to Koala, maybe even a promise of some sort. Yet there was nothing you could say that could lift here from that mood.

Deflating in despair, you were glad Ivankov walked up when they did. As their eyes landed on you, they immediately lit up like a lightbulb. Rushing forward, as they reached you, Ivankov grinned.

"There you are!" Ivankov cheered.

"You were looking for me? What's wrong?"

"Ah, Dragon has a something for you. He has requested you join Sabo on a job."

"Oh," you muttered. You had only ever been on a job with Sabo once, was a very rare occurrence. Still, you were excited to be out and working with Sabo once again. "Thanks, Iva!"

"No problem, love! And I've let Sabo know as well. He said he'll come find you soon."

"Alright, sounds great." You chirped, waving to Ivankov who waddled off. Next to you, you could hear your boyfriend mimic your word words, a sarcastic tone to his voice. Deciding to ignore it, understanding he was in one of his moods, something that was becoming too frequent as of lately.
