"Yeah, he's definitely whipped."

I scowl when Mason brings up Ayah at the bar with a few of our friends.

"Don't start that, I'm not. I just really like her, you know?"
I bite my lip, trying not to think about the way she smiled at me when I dropped her off at work earlier.

It's absolutely crazy, she's constantly on my mind. And whenever I'm not with her, I always just thinking about going home.

To her.

"I don't blame you, she's pretty cool. You're really lucky."
Zeke mutters, guzzling down his whiskey.

I raise an eyebrow, turning towards Mason.

We invited him when we found out that he's been arguing with his girlfriend ever since the new year started.

Poor guy.

I can't even imagine arguments with Ayah.

I know that it's bound to happen in a healthy relationship but I don't know.
Oh, man she's so passionate. She'll probably cry.

A nasty feeling washes over me.

I sip on my beer absentmindedly, wondering what we'd even fight about.

We're more compatible than even I thought we'd be, sometimes we even think the same thing.

Oh man, I can't stop thinking about Valentines day.

God I loved the way I made her mine, the way she would sometimes call out my name or beg for me to slow down and be gentle.
Ayah sure is something else.

"And I know you aren't talking."
I point out, turning.

Mason rolls his eyes.

"I actually can talk, I've been single for a whole week."
He smirks.

What!?

"No way."

Everybody stares at me for some reason, like they are waiting for me to confirm.

I am very shocked, to say the least.

What happened!?

"Dude, look what you did. You started dating his best friend and changed his whole life."
George Hanks teases me.

I fold my arms.

"First of all, I'm his best friend."

Mason rolls his eyes.

Everyone snickers but quiets down immediately when a group of girls walk in the bar.

I'm surprised Mason doesn't know every model's name from that academy by now with how often we see them around town.

"Don't you dare look."
He warns me

I give him a look.

Is he serious right now?

"Wouldn't dream of it. You still owe me a shot of Tequila."
I remind him, grabbing the attention of the bartender.
