The Absorbing Hero

Rescue Operation

3rd POV

Nezu and All Might look down at Y/N who's hooked up to a nasal cannula.

Nezu: "I told him not to engage."

All Might: "To think he was taken down so easily. Seems this Overhaul's more dangerous than previously anticipated."

Nezu: "Indeed."

He leaves when Deku, Uraraka, Asui and Kirishima arrive.

Deku: "What happened to Y/N?"

All Might: "He had an encounter with a villain. He would've died if a citizen hadn't spotted him."

Uraraka: "How bad is he?"

All Might: "Whatever kinda attack the villain used really messed him up. Tore straight through his absorption and attacked his heart. He suffered a ruptured pericardium. This in turn led to him having a massive stroke."

They all look down, can someone really be powerful enough to overpower Y/N's absorption?

Kirishima: "Tell me you're going after the guy that did this."

All Might: "We are. And so are you four."

*timeskip*

Doctors monitor Y/N when suddenly his eyes burst open scaring them. He then sits up ripping off all the gadgets hooked to him.

Doctor: "You're still recovering. Please lay back down."

Y/N: "No."

Y/N POV

I get dressed and walk out of the hospital. Along the way I see police cars zoom past me. Seeing the danger I launch myself into the distance with wind. After several more hops I land outside a rather impressive house. Looking around I spot and walk to the others.

Y/N: "So what's the situation?"

Deku: "Y/N, you're up."

Y/N: "Course I am."

Man: "Are you in fighting shape?"

Y/N: "And just who're you?"

Nighteye: "Sir Nighteye."

Y/N: "Charmed. Yeah, I can fight."

Kirishima: "You sure it's wise to fight? I mean you almost died."

Y/N: "I'll be alright. Just tell me what we're doing."

Nighteye: "We're here to arrest the Hassaikai Yakuza. We also have orders to save the girl they have as prisoner."

Y/N: "Then let's get to it."

Nighteye: "Alright everyone, begin."

We open the front gate. From there we charge forward. 

Man: "Stop the heroes!"

We're surrounded by numerous thugs. I stomp the ground releasing a seismic discharge. The men fall down allowing us to push inside the house. Then after some turns we stop.

Nighteye: "Okay. The entrance to the underground cells should be around here."

Y/N: "Allow me."

I emit a controlled pulse. The wall is blasted away revealing a staircase.

Nighteye: "This way."

We run down the stairs when we come across a blocked off area.

Cop: "It looks like a dead end. What now?"

Hero: "So much for your foresight Nighteye."

Blond: "Hang on, let me go take a look."

He takes off his helmet walking to the wall. Sticking his head forward he phases through the wall.

Blond: "The hallway's just been blocked off with this wall. Unfortunately breaking through it is not gonna be easy."

Hero2: "It's just a cheap trick."

Deku: "If they did this then it means we're on the right track."

I walk to the wall and place my hand on it. It explodes open revealing the path. 

Blond: "We need to keep moving."

We continue on the path when suddenly the hallway begins bending and warping.

Y/N: "What the hell?"

Cop: "It's gotta be Chisaki's pawn  Mimic. His quirk allows him to interact with anything he puts his body in. He's probably turning this place into a maze."

Hero: "But he shouldn't be able to control anything bigger than a refrigerator."

Hero2: "I bet dollars to doughnuts he's using a performance enhancer drug."

Blond: "At this rate Chisaki will get away with the girl."

Y/N: "I won't let him."

I focus making my body glow white with heat. This makes the temperature spike considerably. I then walk to a wall which instantly burns away creating an opening.

Aizawa: "Where're you going!?"

Y/N: "To save Eri."

Nighteye: "You won't be able to find her without my foresight."

Y/N: "Relax, I have ways of finding people."

I walk through another opening when I close my eyes. From there I focus hard. My mind dulls out the world creating pure silence. I then open my eyes to see the world has gone pitch black. White lines start appearing displaying the flow of energy. I look backwards to see the nervous system of the others.

Y/N: "Now, to find Eri."

I turn back around and look around. There I see three more systems. Two larger people with one being a child's.

Y/N: "Hang on Eri, I'm coming."

I focus the heat to my feet. I free fall downwards until I reach what could be a basement. Deactivating my special vision I see Overhaul, some other male, and Eri. She sees me with her eyes filling with hope.
