I shifted in my seat, trying to put my weight on my hip. It was the day after Remus and I had been intimate, and I found that there was some residual discomfort, especially when I was sitting in my hard chair.

"What's wrong?" Remus asked.

"Hm?"

"You look uncomfortable," he said.

"No, I'm okay," I said.

"Y/N."

"I'm a little uncomfortable, I guess," I said. "My chair... I'm fine though."

Remus raised his eyebrows, his heavy gaze making me avert my eyes. I watched as he crossed the classroom and disappeared into his bedroom, returning a few moments later with a pillow.

"Here," he said and guided me out of my chair by my upper arm. "Is this any better? Sit."

I did as he said and sat down on the pillow, finding some relief in the softness. "Yeah, that's better. Thank you."

"Of course," he said and leaned to peck a kiss on my cheek, returning to his work. It was an exam day, which meant that the day would be extremely boring. No instruction, no activities. Just sitting and watching the children. Our first class of the day hadn't arrived yet, and I was already bored out of my mind. Not to mention that it was a Monday, which meant that the day was a long one.

Once the students arrived, I spent most of my morning daydreaming and doodling on scrap pieces of parchment, unable to focus on anything productive. Remus was focused intently on something, his eyes trained on a piece of parchment as he wrote. I stood from my seat and walked around the classroom, making sure everyone was working on their exams. Once I had rounded the classroom, I gazed out the window through the two boards that Filch had nailed into the wall. It was a nice morning. The snow was beginning to melt, casting a thick fog over the school grounds.

Making my way back to my seat, I wished that time would move quicker. I was bored and hungry, and a nap sounded appealing. I cradled my chin in my hand and watched the clock.

I jumped when Remus spoke. "I'm going to come around and collect your exams. If you're not finished, please write 'unfinished' on the top of your exam so I know not to begin grading it."

"Are we working on the exams in class on Wednesday?" a student asked, her hand raised in the air.

"Let's see... Raise your hand if you're not finished with your exam." A majority of the students' hands shot into the air. "Yes, we'll finish them on Wednesday, then. Have a good day."

Remus waited until all of the students were gone before turning to me.

"Want to go on a walk?" he asked.

"Where?"

"Anywhere. You seem restless."

"Sure," I said and stood.

"We have forty minutes," he muttered to himself, checking his watch against the clock on the wall. "Lead the way," he said and opened the door for me.

"Do you think anyone's using the Astronomy Tower?" I asked.

"They shouldn't be," he said. "Astronomy classes in the tower happen at night and students aren't supposed to go up there. We can check though."

I led the way down the stairs and to the main floor, where a separate spiral staircase led to the top of the Astronomy Tower.

"I haven't been up here in a while," Remus said and looked around appreciatively. "Not since I brought you up here."

"I haven't come here since then either," I said. "It's not as nice of a view when it's foggy, is it?"
