Ivy's POV
"I think you owe me some explanation." mukhang naghuhukay ng sariling paglilibingan si Anthon.
Iniabot ko kay Arthur si Baby boy na wala namang choice kundi ang kargahin ang pamangkin.
"Innocence is a blessing but since your grave is ready, then let's talk." nauna na akong bumalik sa loob ng mansion.
He grab my arms again, sa tingin ko ay nakasanayan na talaga nito kaya hinayaan ko nalang. Umakyat kami sa second floor at pumasok sa isang kwarto doon.
Isinara niya rin ang pinto and also pinned me there with his other hand.
"You didn't learned enough man." sabi ko dito. He can't lock me like this.
But the next thing he did is not in my list.
He kiss me!
I froze with big eyes open. No I wasn't froze, its just feel like that and also electrocuted. I don't know how to describe it.
The truth is, I don't really have enough human interaction except with the people concerned in city. What I usually do is to follow the council to kill without much a talk or interaction. Kill....and its done, have another one.
Binitiwan na ako ni Anthon at lumayo siya sa akin.
"Kung maka-react ka diyan, parang ngayon ka lang nahalikan ah." natatawa pa ito. "That Lion isn't your lover before you became Rose Gutierrez, right? Who is he? Pinaimbestigahan ko siya sa pag-aakala kong may-affair kayo pero walang nakuhang impormasyon ang mga imbistigador na binayaran ko."
"Wag mo ng uulitin yun?"
"What? With the kiss?"
"With the investigation. Our existence depends on light, the brighter it is, the darker we become. Stop switching on more lights." babala ko sa kanya.
"I can kiss you again then."
My eyes went to a golden car key keychain hanging on the wall beside me. Ngayon ko lamang napansin. Its an old version of key with an arrow head at its holder. Kinuha ko ang golden key na iyon, its a real gold but not the real key at kilala ko kung sino ang may hawak ng tunay.
"Were did you get this golden key?" I ask him like its between life and death situation, and yes it is really.
"Sayo yan." sagot naman nito. "Sabi mo bigay ni Sarah."
"Sinong Sarah?"
Natawa pa ito. "Ikaw ang nagpakilala sa kanya sa akin, sabi mo kaibigan mo siya. Ginawa mo pa ngang ninang ng dalawang bata."
"May picture ka sa kanya?" patuloy paring tanong ko na parang interrogation na tuloy ang ginagawa ko.
Binuksan nito ang cellphone at may hinanap doon tas ibinigay sa akin.
"She is in our engagement, in our wedding, our birthdays, in the baptism of the kids, almost in every important occasion."
"Ivy Z16," sabi ko ng makilala ang inizoom-in ko na mukha.
Magka-batch sila ni Lion, pero hindi siya pwedeng maging captain gaya nito dahil may higit siyang mataas na katungkulan. She is part of the council.
Close sila ni Lion kaya nagsilbi siya as a big sister sa amin na pinamumunuan nito.
Although she is made as a human weapon but she never been in any mission since she is one of those who give the mission.
For fifteen years, I was able to live a normal life as Rose Gutierrez that has no knowledge about the forbidden city. It is all due to her mercy.
