"I-I'm nervous Y/N... what if your dad doesn't like me? Then what? We can't get married and have kids!!" Zenitsu whined as he clunged onto you.
"Babe... don't worry, I'm sure he'll love you either way" They said as they brought their hands onto his face and wiped his tears. "R-Really? Y-You sure??" He asked as the tears stopped. "Yep!" Y/N said as they popped their lips.
They stepped onto the front of the house and knocked, "Dad! I'm home" They said as a man who looked like he was in his 50's opened the door. "Welcome home kid" He said grinning before turning to the other direction as they both stepped in.
"And uh...who might you be?" He asked suspicious off Zenitsu, "I-I'm your daughter's boyfriend, Agatsuma Zenitsu" He stuttered. "HEH? A guy like you as my child's boyfriend? I don't approve of this!" He yelled as they replied "Dad...".
"I don't want someone like him... being with you, look at him! He's weak, he's foolish, AND he's childish. Plus, I bet he's a very weak demon slayer, uh... " He rants out, as Zenitsu rushed out crying. "DAD" They yelled running out to comfort him.
"Hey, hey don't worry. My dad might not like you now, but he'll come to like you I promise" They comforted rubbing circles around his back
"B-But what if he never ends up liking me? Would I just have to leave you? I don't want to l-leave you" He panicked thinking that he might need to. "Whatever the result would be, I would never leave you even if my dad doesn't approve of you" Y/N told him as they smiled.
"O-Okay, I think I'm ready to go back in" He says as Y/N nodded and opened the door for him as he entered, and they followed. "So you came back to show your cowardly face again I see" He mocked.
"I did, and I came here to tell you that I would love your child no matter the circumstances. Even if it was a life and death choice, I would gladly sacrifice myself to them. Because I love them and I would protect them no matter what, even if I'm not as strong or good looking. I know your child deserves better and not this weak guy, but I still love them...so please don't separate us..." Zenitsu cried out.
"Dad! I love him okay, and if you don't like him then I don't care because I love him unconditionally with his defects" Y/N yelled explaining how much they love him. Zenitsu softly smiling listening to Y/N defending him.
"Huh, maybe you're actually worthy after all. Alright sit, we've got loads of things to discuss together" Y/N's dad finally agreed and accepted him.
