Chapter Thirteen- Doing it Together

Callies pov

We finished at Arizona's OB appointment, and so far everything is looking good. We walked to the car and when we got in, the mood shifted. I don't really know how to describe it, but it was just different. We sat in the car, holding hands, and looking straight forward.

"I want to try us again" Arizona blurted out, still not looking at me. I looked at her briefly concealing my smile. She continued "but this time, we have rules, okay?"

"Okay" I responded while giving her hand a quick squeeze. She then proceeded to give me a whole list of rules, but honestly I agreed with all of them.

"No running, we can take breaks but they are over as soon as we are ready and we can't give up during it right after one, Sofia and this baby come first, and it has to be about spending time with each other- sex and making out isn't a priority but instead is something that just happens"

I smiled widely, "okay" I responded in a happy and grateful whisper.

"Okay" she responded in the same tone. We gently kissed each other in celebration and the went on our way.

15 minutes later....

We just pulled up to the food store and were walking in when someone ran up behind us and smacked Arizona's ass whilst saying "want to have more fun blondie?" We were both stunned, and then Arizona's face started to turn to a look of terror. I looked at her concerned and confused while she continued to stare at him.

"Callie it's him" she said under her breath, sounding terrified as her mood changed completely.

"Get the hell away from me!" She yelled. "You're the one! Get away from me!" She continued. That's when I realized that this was the man who raped her.

I walked up to him while holding Arizona back and calmly said, "I suggest you leave before you regret ever laying a damn hand on her." Although I was calm, I was clearly furious.

He made a joke about us, and then walked away. I hugged Arizona but she was emotionless, she didn't hug back, or resist. She didn't move.
