10 hours later....
Arizona pov:
"Arizona! Wake up. Wake up" Dan said to me. I rolled over a little to see my old friend with a smile across his face. I then looked back at my sleeping beauty and pondered if I should wake her up for the news I was about the receive. I decided that I would wake her if it was important.
I looked back over at Dan and a huge smile came over his face.
"You guys have been sleeping for a long time, she's awake now" he said. I immediately perked up, making Callie stir.
"WHAT?" I asked boldly, clearly pissed. He chuckled a little. It pissed me off more but also confused me.
"When Mr. and Mrs. Robbins tell you to let their daughter get her rest with her wife, you don't back talk them" he said with a little laugh. I let out small chuckle and nodded my head in agreement. His explanation was most certainly reasonable. Just a few seconds later, I looked down at Callie who had barely opened her eyes but was smiling at me.
"Our girl is awake?" She asked quietly. I nodded and we both grew huge smiles. Seconds later I planted a deep but quick kiss on her lips before standing and following Dan to Sofia's recovery room where my parents and Thea were also supposed to be.
"Mommies!" Sofia yelled quietly. She was enthusiastic, but clearly out of it and in some pain.
"Oh, baby!" Callie and I said in unison. We both rushed to different sides of her bed and hugged her as tightly as we could without hurting her.
She laughed a little "too tight mommies!" She said with a smile. We both frowned a little and released her.
"We just love you so much, and we are so happy that you're okay" I said with tears in my eyes. Callie rested her hand on my back in support, and I caressed Sofias face lovingly.
"I love you too, but I'm not a baby" Sofia defended. Callie and I frowned, my parents chuckled.
"Well, you will always be our baby" Callie returned. Sofia rolled her eyes a little, and we both kissed her on the cheek before assuming our places on the side of her bed and I took Thea to let her nurse.
It was such an amazing moment, the release on our hearts and shoulders was huge. Our baby was going to be okay, everything would be okay.
