TW: profanity and I guess a kind of descriptive scene

Callies POV

I got in the tub and sat behind her. Even though she has delivered babies at work before, she looked lost, like she didn't know what to do, that's when I realized just how overwhelmed she was. I sat down in a straddle and pulled her into me. My face was right next to her ear.

"You're going to be okay" I whispered to her while I pulled her legs up and hooked my arms on them to hold them up. I offered my hands to her and grasped them tightly. Her contraction had passed, so she waited for the next one.

"Ca- Callie, another ones here." She told me shakily, clearly terrified of the process that her body was going through that she had no way of stopping. I immediately pulled her legs back further and responded. "Squeeze my hands as tightly as you need to, you won't hurt me."

Arizona's POV

I began to push. "Ahhghhh" As soon as I started, I stopped. The pain became so much more excruciating. "Callie I can't, it hurts, check me. Maybe im wrong" I breathed out. She put her face on my shoulder and whispered directly into my ear "Arizona, you have gone through pain a million times worse than this, if anybody can do this, it's you." She paused and her tone changed. "I don't need to check you, when you're ready, you know. Now push, so we can meet our baby girl" she said in a cheery whisper.

I pushed, riding out the last bit of my contraction, and arching my back while quietly moaning in pain. "Mmmmmhmmmmm." The last moment of the contraction was extra painful, causing me the gasp in pain. Callie whispered in my ear supportively they entire time.

I felt down, and I felt the very top of Thea's head. All of the sudden I knew that all of the months of discomfort and excruciating pain of birth would be a small price to pay. I smiled a little. "What is it?" Callie asked curiously. I turned my head a little to her, "Callie.... I felt her head, she's perfect" I responded.

Moments later, another contraction came. The burning of my lower regions made me want to push to get her out more than my body urged me to. I inhaled sharply when I felt the burn, which Callie took as her sign to pull my legs back again. I squeezed her hands as tightly as I could and screamed in pain as I pushed her head out more "AHHHRGGGHHH."
Minutes later, the contraction had passed and her head still wasn't out. I waited, dreading the next contraction.

Callies POV

I could tell that Arizona was in so much pain. She was good about the first couple contractions after my words of encouragement, and I could tell she was getting tired. She tensed as the next one came. "Callie I can't do it again" she whispered to me. I moved my face to her ear again. "You can, and you will. Your stronger than anybody I know, pretty lady. You can do it," I told her. She sighed deeply and then I pulled her legs back again. She began screaming in pain and I encouraged her.
"Mmmm" she moaned and swayed her hips slightly in attempt to relieve herself of some pain. Ahhhhhhh AH- Fuck!" She shrieked. Her face scrunched up, and the teeth clenched.

Despite the fact that watching her in pain was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, I still encouraged her.

"Push, push, push, push, push baby, push." I yelled quietly in excitement. She listened to me and then her head fell back while her face relaxed and her arm reached down and she breathed a sigh of relief. "Her heads out Callie, it's out," she breathed with relief in her voice. Her eyes remained shut, but I couldn't help but smile at her.

"You're amazing" I whispered in her ear as I kissed her cheek. Her body which had melted into me had tensed again, now onto the shoulders.

Arizona's POV

Her head was out. I felt my baby's face. My body tensed as another contraction came. I knew the next part would hurt like hell without anybody to reposition her.

"Pull my legs back further" I whispered to me Callie, she did. I took a deep breath to prepare myself and then pushed with everything I had in me while completely ignoring the burning and pain. I clenched my teeth as hard as I possibly could and squeezed Callies hands with all of my might to distract myself. As much as I tried, the pain still overtook me. "Ahhhhhhh! Grrrrrrrahh! Fuck! Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed. My contraction continued, but I had settled into the pain again and just moaned loudly. I could tell I was almost there. One more contraction, and one more big push, and I would have my baby.

Callies POV

Her contraction had just ended. "She's almost out" Arizona told me in exhaustion after her contraction ended. Within seconds, a new one came on. She paused for a moment, taking it what was about to happen with a sharp and painful sigh and then prepared herself. I decided to step in and help her more.

"Count with me Arizona,
three...
two....
One, push!"

She pushed, with all of her might, even more than last time.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH" Screaming in pain louder than I thought possible as I encouraged her on. As her lungs deflated completely her yell quieted, so re refilled them to scream again. "AHHHHHHHHHH.. SON OF A- "
Moments later, she stopped her cries of pain, and I looked down to see her quickly snatching the most adorable baby girl from the blood filled water. She breathed heavily and began to sob with our newborn happily.

"I love you, I love you so, so much baby" she told our newborn through sobs.

I also spoke to the baby and Arizona as wrapped one arm around my soulmate. I grabbed a towel and helped Arizona wrap her up before getting another towel to wrap around her. She was shivering because of a combination of blood loss, the now only luke warm bath water, and exhaustion.

I didn't want to take this moment from Arizona, but this is my baby too, I wanted to meet her. Turning Arizona to the side a little bit, I hugged her and our newborn protectively and whispered into her ear "I told you, you're amazing" before beginning to coo to our perfect baby angel.

Minutes later, out of the blue, Arizona randomly said "Thea"

"Thea?" I asked, confused.

"That's her name, Thea." She said quietly Her tears stopped but a sad smile formed on her face as she admired our little miracle who was no longer crying, but sleeping contently in her Mamas arms. I had never seen anything like Arizona's maternal instincts. She knew exactly what to do, exactly how to comfort her. It's like she had been doing it for her whole life. It was a beautiful thing to watch.

Confusion plastered my brain for a moment, until I realized that it was for Timothy. "For your brother" I said quietly. She looked up at me and nodded with a sad smile in response. I pulled them both closer to me and kissed her cheek. It might've been a rough road, but our dreams from every before we were married were coming true. It was just up to us to live them to our fullest.
