Arizona's POV

*Later that day, in the car on the way home with Callie....*

All I could feel was love. These were my first moments alone with Callie since Thea was born, other than when I first woke up, and my heart was exploding with joy. Her, everything about her, is just perfect.

Leaning back in the corner between my seat and window with one of my legs crossed over top of the other, I admired her. Her dark wavy hair, her deep brown eyes, her strong but still perfect and refined hands, her tan skin that covers her sexy curves, her thick healthy eyelashes, her plump and pretty lips, her loving smile. Everything about how she looks is perfect, but still. Her personality manages to be a million times better.

Her amazing hand intertwined with mine, and her sweet voice singing along to "the story" by Sara Rameriz.

All of the sudden, her sweet voice paused and she glanced at me quickly with a smile. "Hey Arizona" she interjected sweetly.

"Yeah, Calliope" I responded in the same tone, just tiredly.

"I know that this might be a lot for your first night home, but we have a dinner date with some friends of mine. It'll be quick and I got you a dress. Do you think you can try to come?" She asked sweetly, but with a tinge of nervousness in her voice.

"Yeah honey, I can" I answered with a little smile, squeezing her hand with reassurance that it was okay she asked. She squeezed my hand back in thanks rather than kissing me since we were driving.

20 minutes later....

As we walked down the stairs in our dresses ready to leave, April came from the backyard. I didn't even know that she was here.

"Wow, you look amazing in that dress" she remarked.

"Right?! I've told her 'that ass don't quit'!" Callie added.

I chuckled, I've wanted this dress for years now, I can't believe Callie got it for me. "Thanks" I said to both of them with a bright smile.

Callie and I started to walk to the door when April yelled "Wait, Arizona! Sofia is in the backyard and she wants to show you something quickly!"

"Sofia's home?" I questioned, sprinting to the back door. I felt like a horrible Mother that I didn't even say hi to Sofia or know she was home, just to go out 5 minutes after I discover her location.

Callie quickly followed behind me. When I got to the back door I was taken back. I looked at Callie, who smiled at me, and April who had a camera in hand. Callie was doing something special for me without the kids. It just proves my point. She loves me, and I love her, and none of the rest matters.

Callie took my hand and walked me down a little path to a arch made of quality wood with vines and flowers decorating it. We faced each other and she took both of my hands in hers.

"Arizona, you....." she paused, taking me in.
"You are the best woman in this world, you care for our daughter, and always rise above me in maturity. You are the best wife. You are the strongest person I know. You are my person to lean on, shoulder to cry on, and everything else." She paused, choking back tears.
"We've hurt each other, so much. We forgot what was important and who we could trust, but Arizona. You.... You are my love, you are my life, and I don't want to spend another day without you being my wife. We dont have anyone here to marry us, so this is the best I can do" she choked back tears again, and then continued.
"Will you make the the happiest person on this earth, and marry me?"

As she spoke she opened a box with my old wedding ring with some expensive and beautiful modifications. I admired it for a moment before pulling her into me and kissing her deeply.

When we pulled away, I whispered "yes" while our foreheads pressed together.
