The next morning

Arizona's POV

I woke up and everything in my body felt lower. My back hurt worse than ever. Callie told me that if I ever don't feel good I should wake her up. I never have, but this was a different type of pain. I want her comfort.

"Callie, Callie, wake up" I whispered while trying to shake her body a little. She woke up right away.

"Arizona, is something wrong?" She asked worriedly.

"No, my back just really hurts. I wanted you" I whispered to her sadly. She smiled at me a little and took me in her arms. There's nothing like her warm embrace being wrapped around my body. It's the best feeling in the entire world.

An hour later.....

Callie had to get up to bring Sofia to school and run some errands. I would usually go with her but I was in too much pain, so I stayed home. After she had been gone for about 15 minutes I struggled my way downstairs to get water and a snack. Everything felt lower. My heavy belly felt lower, and so did my sore breasts. The pain came and went in waves, but it wasn't too bad overall, just not pleasant at all. I struggled back up the stairs, and when I was only a few feet away from the bed, a woosh of water came out of me. My water broke, and Callie wasn't home. All of the sudden, my body was filled of tenseness, pain, shock, and fear. I sat down on the floor and leaned against a wall. My pain intensified almost immediately after my water broke, and I was too afraid to get my phone from the other side of the room. It would hurt too much. I knew I had to wait until Callie got home.

An hour later....
An hour after my water broke, I was starting to feel my labor progress, and it was starting to hurt more. I was starting to feel actual contractions. I had barely moved, and I was still still itting in a pool of my own amniotic fluid. The only difference is that I changed position to deal with pain better.

Two hours later.....
I was in active labor and Callie still was not home. Usually women don't move as quickly as I did, and I was terrified I was going to have to deliver with out her. I was still to scared to get up for my phone, but every contraction hurt a little more.

An hour later....
4 hours after my water broke, Callie was still not home, and I knew I was going to have to push within the next 30 minutes, which was terrifying. It hurt so badly, I just wanted to crawl up in a ball and never feel it again. I was laying down on the floor of our bedroom in pain. I was laying down in a pool of blood mixed with my amniotic fluid. Every contraction hurt worse than the one before. They were all so painful. Finally, to my great relief, I heard Callie open the from door. She was home.
