chapter 27

Abby's Pov

Okay so it's been like 3 days since i've decided to talk to Sierra. Have I done it yet? no not at all. I've been trying to get Dylan to help me but he doesn't know what happened. I want to tell him but wouldn't he just walk out on me like them? but then again the longer I wait the more mad he'll get.

"Dylan I'm fake dating Johnny and they're  mad I didn't tell them right away. Now please help me." I plead. I've been trying to get him to help me for 30 minutes. He wouldn't until I told him what I did.

"Fake dating? Why?" Here we go

"Long story that includes Josh and now apparently Sam. I'll tell you later but this period is almost over and I need to talk to them." I give him my best puppy dog eyes. He slowly nods and I cheer "Thank you thank you thank you!" I give him a hug as he laughs.

After he finally agreed I stepped out of his car and headed for the school building. We made a plan of some sorts to get Sierra and Maddy to forgive me. I honestly don't think I should have to do all this but anything for them I guess. I walk over to my locker and get the stuff I need for class. Me and Johnny are still not talking. I'm not gonna be going to him. He can come back to me because I did nothing to him. He freaked himself out and it's not my job to calm him down.

On my way to class I saw Sierra and Maddy and all thoughts of the plan me and Dylan just made left my mind. All I saw was this open opportunity to just go up and talk to them. So that's exactly what I did. I walked over to them with my head held high and enough confidence that will make it look like i'm serious.

"Sierra, Maddy!" I say over enthusiastically to get their attention. They turn their heads in my direction and their faces immediately show confusion. "Can we talk? Please?"

"Yes" Maddy says before Sierra can even speak a word. Which i'm grateful for because I have a feeling Sierra was going to say no. "Let's go over here" She suggests I nod my head and follow her. She leads us near her locker where no one was really standing. "What's up?"

"I wanted to apologize." She tried interrupting me but I held up my hand telling her to let me finish. "I was a jerk. I should have told y'all. I understand why y'all got upset but I can't stand you guys being mad at me. I miss you." I say finishing off my short speech.

"We miss you too. We may have over reacted a bit but we were just hurt. We used to tell each-other everything and then when Josh came into the picture you stopped." I nodded along with what she was saying because she was right.

"You're right and I'm so so sorry I became more secretive. I swear i'll be better. We can have a re do on girls night and I'll tell you guys everything you want to know." That made Maddy think. I started to panic. What if they said no because they're still mad.

"Sounds like a plan" Sierra says with a stupid grin on her face. I immediately mirror her grin and pull them into a group hug. That went better than I thought it would.

The man whore himself (Dyl)

A: Hey, change of plans. I just talked to them. We're good now. Thank you for being there for me<3

D: Okay, I'm glad you got it settled. GIRLS NIGHT💅

A: Ha. You're not invited.

D: That is offensive, but that's too bad because i'm coming anyway 🤡

I laugh at that message. Dylan is such an idiot but I love him anyway. Sierra, Maddy, and myself made our way to class. I gave them a little information but said id save it for girls night when Dylan was there too. They agreed and we all sat at our desks.

Johnnys Pov

I walked out and I feel so stupid because now she won't talk to me. I haven't put much effort into it but still. Isn't the girl supposed to chase the guy? I guess that's only when the girl likes the guy. I can't believe I walked out instead of talking it out with her. I did exactly what Sierra and Maddy did and they aren't talking anymore. I don't want that. So today i'm talking to Josh. Sam is fine for now but if he talks to her again he's next.

When I got to school I went to my locker and got my stuff for class. I pulled out my phone to check the notifications but it was just the football team group chat and a few friends. I ignored those for now and continued to walk to class. I decided I would wait till after school to talk to Josh.

On my way to class I saw Abby and she looked stressed or deep in thought. Then strangely enough she called her two best friends names and they responded to it. They started talking and ended with a group hug. I want to know when that happened but we're currently not talking.

After classes I had to built up the courage to talk to Josh because as much as he pissed me off he's intimidating. so I have to be smart about this. I was on my way to the locker room where I knew he would be. I walked through the doors and immediately was hit with body odor. It's just a lovely smell. I made my way to Josh and tapped his shoulder. He obviously turned around to see who it was.

"Hey Josh"

"...Hey?"

"I need to talk to you about.. Abby."

"And why would you need to do that?" He asked turning all the way around and folding his arms across his chest.

After swallowing dramatically I continued "Look she's my girl and you're trying to interfere with it. I get it. I like her too but you need to respect that she's already taken."

"What? Like we can't share the whore? I'm sure she'd love that." He said with a cocky grin

Those words lit a fuse inside of me and the next thing I knew I was on top of Josh punching his face until I saw blood. He has no right to talk about Abby like that especially when he was the one who assaulted her.

It didn't take very long for someone to walk into the locker room and see the fight.

"Hey! Hey! Get off of him!" At this point Josh was trying to fight back and had landed a few punches. There was blood on both of our faces which would've been expected. The dude that came in ran back out and a minute or two later coach came in pulling me off Josh.

"Boys! What the hell got into you two!" He was screaming at us but I wasn't paying attention. Me and Josh were glaring at each other breathing heavily. After coaches rant we were pulled out of the locker room and into the office. He sat us down in the seat. "Stay here" He said sternly. Then as expected the principal came out and called us into the office one at a time.

My mom will love to hear about this..
