Episode 5: Friends of Earth

Our episode opens up in the streets of alien town where we see an alien bystander wearing a trenchcoat carrying a pet carrier in one hand walking past the crowd trying to avoid drawing any attention before sneaking off into an alleyway only for him to get jumped by a group of men in black hoods who point their guns to the alien's head shouting "hand over the case containing the weapon, dangerous alien scum" the alien tries to reason with them, saying "you must be mistaken, this isn't a weapon, he's my pet. and I'm not some dangerous space fugitive, I'm just a simple Kelvinite trying to live a simple life on Earth. please have mercy, I've got a wife and kids!" only for the leader of the cloaked men to grab him by the shirt causing him to drop the pet carrier, saying "plead all you want you filthy ET, but the Friends of Earth don't take mercy on your kind. All aliens are a threat to this planet and its people, which is why we have made it our mission to eliminate every single ET hiding on this rock and reclaim our rightful home, including you" followed by the Friends of Earth taking the alien away all the while the Kelvinian quasar hound (of which is wearing a muzzle) breaks out of its carrier to watch the dark hooded men grab onto his owner with their leader whipping out a high-tech sword to decapitate the innocent alien before painting the Friends of Earth logo on the wall with his blue blood. After that, we cut to Delta and Commander Epsilon standing in the communication room with Delta explaining to Alpha about the recent string of attacks made on alien civilians, mentioning how the assailants have painted graffiti on the walls of alien town with their victims blood, projecting a collection of photos with words painted on the walls saying things like "ET go home", "This is our planet not yours", "Keep Earth Human", and most recently the one with the friends of earth logo painted on it all with the bodies of dead aliens visible in the frame, Delta informing Alpha that these guys call themselves the "friends of Earth". Epsilon is appalled by these photos, saying "disgusting, bunch of savages" while Delta proposes that this is some kind of calling card, to get the attention of Sector 51. Alpha asks Delta if he has any idea of what they want, and Delta says he believes they may be trying to cause an all-out war with sector 51. Alpha then asks Delta where the starchild is, and Delta tells Alpha that she went on a trip to some Cryptozoology museum in oregon with Alex. After that, we cut to a Sector 51 airship landing in front of the parking lot, Lena saying that she's excited to check this place out. Alex asks Lena why she's interested in some lame tourist trap, and Lena tells Alex "Sigma mentioned I was half-Annunaki. I don't even know what an Annunaki is, Delta and the rest of Sector 51 never liked to talk about where I came from. I was hoping this place would hold some answers, that way I can learn a little bit more about my heritage". The two then enter the museum and are both in awe of all the strange and bizarre artifacts such as the stuffed Bigfoot, vampire skulls, the Montauk monster in a jar of formaldehyde, and the hand of a Loveland frog. Lena then turns her attention to a glass case containing a mysterious stone tablet, Lena telling Alex to come check this out. Alex is fascinated, saying that according to the sign this tablet is Sumerian, wicked old. Lena looks at the hieroglyphs on the tablet saying she can somehow understand the writing, the crystal on her forehead glowing a bright blue as she deciphers the scriptures on the tablet. Alex asks Lena what it says, and Lena tells him "it says that a millennia ago, an advanced race of beings known as the Annunaki visited Earth and experimented on monkeys, creating the planet's first civilized race known as the firstborn which eventually became humanity". Both teens hear a voice saying "good job kid, I'm surprised you can read that lost language" followed by a familiar-looking 20-year old man with red hair wearing a black uniform with a white "X" insignia on his jacket carrying a katana on his back standing before him. Lena then starts fangirling screaming "O-M-G" much to the confusion of Alex who asks "you know this guy, Lena?" Followed by Lena saying "Delta told me all about you guys, you're the ones who keep track of all those mystery animals, right?" The man shakes Lena's hand, saying "they're called Cryptids. Name's Marcus Schmitt, agent of the Animal X: Natural Mystery Unit. You two must be from Sector 51, My sister Natalie worked with your organization once on a case relating to the Flatwoods monster". Alex cocks his head, saying "I'm still confused" followed by Marcus waving our heroes goodbye before taking the secret elevator down. Lena is then contacted by Agent Delta, who informs Lena telling her and Alex to meet him at Alien Town, it's an emergency. Lena and Alex both look at each other and nod before boarding the dropship before taking off. After that, we cut to the Friends of Earth chasing the Kelvinian quasar hound through the streets of alien town, the FOE leader shouting "Do not let the Kelvinian Quasar hound escape! Such a dangerous creature cannot be allowed to run freely on this planet!" The muzzled alien doggo is backed into a corner but us saved by Delta who points his twin pistols at the hooded men, telling them "alright you two, leave the dog alone. Trust me, you don't want to pick a fight with Sector 51" followed by Delta shooting down two of the FOE goons before picking up the quasar hound telling the poor creature "don't worry little guy, Sector 51 will help you find your owner" all the while Joe shakes his fist from the window of his diner shouting "hey! No humans allowed in alien town, remember!? You're scaring all my customers!" However one of the FOE goons shoots a gun through the glass forcing Joe to duck behind the counter in fear as alien patrons leave the building and run away in fear with the rest of Alien town's citizens. Delta asks the Friends of Earth "why are you trying to harm this poor creature? And more importantly, why are you homicidal renaissance fair rejects targeting Alien Town's citizens?" The FOE leader laughs, saying "Don't you Sector 51 folks understand? The Friends of Earth are trying to protect humanity from those dirty alien freaks! Our goals are the same!" Delta tells him "we are NOT the same. Sector 51 defends the people of Earth from alien CRIMINALS, the aliens you've been killing are innocents!" The FOE leader points his sword at Delta and the hound, telling him "what's the difference? They're all the same alien scum, thinking they can get away with taking what is rightfully ours! We were on this planet first, we should be allowed to defend our home! You sector 51 are a bunch of hypocrites, you claim to be mankind's first line of defense against violent extraterrestrials, yet you have one of THEM working for you!" Only for Delta to tell him "speak for yourselves, those weapons you've been using for your little anti-alien crusade look like alien tech to me". Lena then teleports onto the scene with all the FOE goons opening fire on her, Lena dodging their fire and then activates her sword construct to cut up their alien guns before locking blades with the FOE's leader who taunts her by saying "Well if it isn't the fabled Starchild, we finally meet face-to-face. just look at you, half-blood human, half-blood alien, such an abomination shouldn't even exist". Lena begins to tear up, shouting "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?" followed by Commander Epsilon leading a platoon of Sector 51 soldiers who all leap from the dropship to open fire on the FOE goons forcing them to retreat saving Lena's skin, Epsilon noticing Lena crying asking Delta what's wrong with her, followed by Lena saying "they called me an abomination" Delta then tells Epsilon "she... had a close encounter with the Friends of Earth". Epsilon sees Delta holding the muzzled quasar hound asks what the heck that mangy space-mutt is, and Delta tells Epsilon that the Friends of Earth are after it, which may have to do with why the creature has a muzzle. our heroes then board the aircraft, Delta sitting in the seat next to Lena who notices the quasar hound sleeping in Delta's lap, saying "aw cute doggy! Where did you find it?" Delta tells Lena "this is no ordinary Earth dog, it's an alien life form. And the men in the hoods who attacked us, The Friends of Earth, are after it for some reason". Lena then looks at the quasar hound's collar, realizing that he must have had an owner. She then reads the tag, saying "it says his name is Poochie, cute name" followed by Delta reminding her to not get too attached to it, saying "he's not our pet, but he can stay in your room for now. Promise you'll take good care of him until we find his family". Lena then shouts "yay!" Before we then cut to Sector 51 HQ where we see Lena introduce Alex to Poochie, with Alex asking Lena why he has a muzzle on. Lena tells Alex "I don't know, but Delta insists we keep it on until we can find out where he came from" while stroking Poochie's blue fur. Two LGMs enter the room only for them to be terrified of Poochie and run away, Alex asking why the little guys seem so spooked. Lena then tells Alex "Beats me. I'm gonna go take Poochie for a walk around Alien town, hopefully I can find answers as to where he came from" followed by Lena putting a leash on Poochie before pulling her hood up to hide her face before leaving the room. After that, we cut to Delta communicating with Alpha, informing his boss that he encountered the Friends of Earth and learned some new information about their motives. Delta then tells Alpha "the Friends of Earth seem to be under the belief that all aliens are a threat to Earth society, killing Alien Town's resident interstellar immigrants with reverse-engineered Alien tech. that and they're after some kind of alien dog". Alpha asks where the beast is, and Delta informs Alpha that Lena is taking care of the hound, Delta saying that he trusts her, only for him to hear Lena shouting "Hey delta I'm taking Poochie for a walk around Alien town, be right back!" followed by a comedic moment of Delta telling a concerned Alpha "for the most part". Alpha asks Delta "Poochie!, you let her give it a name?" Delta then informs Alpha "Actually Alpha, Poochie was already the animal's name, it had an owner" followed by the LGMs entering the room showing Alpha a holographic image of the tag on Poochie's collar, Delta saying "The LGMs looked at the address on the collar, they figured out that the creature was the pet of a citizen of Alien Town, a Kelvinite named Ektor" followed by the LGMs showing Alpha a holographic image of Ektor's face. Alpha then asks Delta "Is there a way we can get a hold of this Ektor?" followed by Delta saying "Unfortunately we can't. because Ektor is dead, killed by the Friends of Earth". After that, we cut to a hooded Lena taking Poochie for a walk through the streets of Alien town before entering Joe's diner where all the alien patrons appear terrified by the sight of Poochie. Joe then shows up to tell Lena "Hey! no pets allowed in my restaurant!" Lena then picks up Poochie and holds him up to Joe's face making him take a step back, saying "hey, get that thing away from me!" Lena then asks him "you know what it is then?" followed by Joe telling her "that's a Kelvinian Quasar Hound! its stomach contains a black hole, if that thing opens its mouth it'll suck everything in, including this whole building!" Lena then looks at Poochie, saying "so that's why you're wearing a muzzle, no wonder why the guys in the hoods were trying to kill you" with Joe telling her "you mean the Friends of Earth? don't let their name fool you they're not friends of anyone, especially not the folks here at alien town". Lena then turns her attention back to Joe telling him "Tell me about it, they called me an abomination". Joe tells her "Tell me about it, they hate ALL aliens good or bad. if they're after that pet of yours, then they're gonna come after you. it's best you leave this place, I got a niece that lives here so I don't want any of those xenophobic psychos in my neighborhood". Lena then thanks Joe for the information and leaves the diner, contacting Delta informing him that she just learned that the reason why the Friends of Earth are after Poochie because he has a black hole for a stomach, followed by Delta telling Lena "and I found out what happened to his owner. he was killed by the Friends of Earth" followed by Poochie cowering behind Lena as she looks up to see the Friends of Earth logo painted on a wall in alien blood. Lena begins to feel sorry for the creature, shedding a tear as she comforts Poochie telling him "I'm sorry little guy" before taking his muzzle off, saying "there you go, you're free now" followed by Poochie licking Lena on the face. we then cut to Agent Delta arriving in Alien town running through crowds of alien bystanders only for him to be stopped in his tracks by the Friends of Earth who all point their guns at him, saying "HALT! stay where you are alien sympathizer, if you know what's good for you" Delta radios Lena informing her that the Friends of Earth are here and to get both herself and Poochie out of there before blasting his way through waves of FOE goons with his twin laser pistols. Meanwhile Lena picks up Poochie and tries to run, but she is also stopped in her tracks by the Friends of Earth along with the FOE leader who tells Lena "so we meet again, Abomination. and it appears you have something we want". Lena then puts down Poochie and activates her fist constructs, saying "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". the FOE goons then open fire on Lena who teleports out of the way before re-appearing behind one and smacking him with her fists, shouting "you killed this innocent pet's owner!" before smacking another one saying "how could anyone be so heartless?" followed by teleporting in front of the FOE leader and switching her fist constructs out for the sword shouting "YOU MONSTERS!" before clashing blades with the FOE leader who taunts her by saying "A dirty half-breed like you can never understand what we're trying to do, the Friends of Earth are trying to SAVE our planet by cleansing it of the alien infestation! Ever since humanity made first contact you ETs have been nothing but trouble, committing death and destruction, causing billions of dollars worth of property damage! they don't deserve the same rights as us" before she is suddenly ganged up on by the remaining FOE goons who proceed to curb-stomp her into the ground. The battered and bruised Lena struggles to get up, telling them "You Friends of Earth make me sick! sure they don't look like us, speak the same language, or even share the same number of limbs and eyes, but aliens are people too! they may not be of this world, but they have a soul, they have families! just like us". the FOE leader then pins Lena under his boot, telling her "Don't lecture me, starchild! you don't know what you're talking about. In spite of Sector 51's lies there are no good aliens OR bad aliens, it's just us and them. and you're one of them" as he raises his sword in the air ready to behead her, only for Poochie to run in and growl at the FOE Goons, one of them saying "boss, it's the space mutt!" followed by the FOE leader telling them "put it out of its misery". the FOE goons point their high-tech guns at Poochie, followed by Poochie opening his mouth super-wide unleashing the black hole, sucking in their guns only for the goons to slowly be sucked in themselves, screaming "boss help us!" only for their screams to be deafened when they are consumed by the black hole. their leader is then caught in the gravitational pull, however he impales his sword into the ground to stop himself from being sucked into the black hole. Lena who is also being pulled in shouts "that's enough Poochie!" followed by Poochie closing his mouth before licking Lena in the face, Lena telling him "good boy" all the while the FOE leader gets back up on his feet followed by Lena whipping out her sword construct, causing the FOE leader to have a flashback to a male Annunaki wielding a similar weapon. he then tells her "That power... I've seen it once before. Eterius..." Lena then turns her head and asks him "Who's eterius?" followed by Sector 51 personell arriving on the scene. the FOE leader not wanting to be arrested retreats, telling her "We'll meet again next time, Lena Sullivan. and when we do, I WILL kill you" before disappearing into a nearby alleyway. Lena then has a happy reunion with Agent Delta, all the while Commander Epsilon asks where the friends of Earth disappeared to. Lena then tells him "Poochie ate 'em" followed by Poochie comically cocking his head. After that, we cut to Delta in the communication room talking to Alpha informing him that the Friends of Earth have retreated and are still at large, but the Kelvinian Quasar hound is safe and he has decided to let it live at Sector 51 HQ as Lena's pet, on the condition that Lena takes good care of it. we then cut to Lena sitting on her bed followed by Poochie hopping up on the bed to give Lena a kiss, Lena giggling and our episode ends with Lena giving Poochie a big hug, saying "I love you, Poochie".
