Sector 51

Episode 2: I Want To Believe

Our episode picks up where the first one left off, with Lena and Alex being escorted into Sector 51 HQ to be interrogated. Alex tells Lena "so THIS is area 51? cool" followed by Agent Delta telling him "please do not tell ANYONE about ANYTHING you see in this facility. otherwise... I won't hesitate to silence you. permanently" whipping out his dual laser pistols and pointing them at his face. Alex gulps as our heroes enter the elevator which takes them down to an alien prison where they see Sector 51 personnel dump the captured Blobulus into his prison cell  along with seeing a myriad of weird and dangerous aliens sitting in glass cages freaking out poor Alex. After that, we cut back to Alex's parents who wake up, Emily asking her husband "Jack, where is our son? I don't remember what happened to him, It's all a blur to me", Jack tells Emily "I don't remember anything either, Emily. But I assure with that girlfriend of his is keeping him safe, wherever he is" only for a dark blue UFO with an elephant skull pattern painted on the front which shows up to land in front of the household, followed by a trio of elephant-like humanoid aliens known as Loxodontosapiens stepping out of the ship, the one in the center being General Tussk who tells the two "Greetings Earthlings, we come in peace". Jack then asks the three Aliens "were YOU the ones who took our son?" followed by Tussk saying "I don't know what you're talking about, but you're coming with us" followed by Alex's parents getting abducted by the Loxodontosapiens and taken aboard their ship the Ivory Blade where we see several comatose humans floating in large glass tanks of glowing blue liquid. Alex's parents are then thrown into a pair of empty tanks that fill up with the blue liquid making them go unconscious. the ship then takes off and leaves Lincoln County before we cut to the Council of Planets HQ , an orbital space station hovering above the Earth. here we see the council members gathering for a meeting, the council consists of members of various alien races such as a Mineralite, an Ichthyosapien, a Druellian, a Minotaurosapien, a Virdian, a Grey, and finally Councilman Ta'Runkk as representative of the Loxodontosapien species from the planet Ammuth. the members of the council have called councilman Ta'Runkk into question due to recent instances of rogue Loxodontosapien General Tussk going around planet Earth and abducting random humans for unknown reasons. Ta'Runkk is troubled by this, saying that Tussk and his followers were exiled from Ammuth many years ago for their war crimes, abducting innocent civilians to be melted down into ship fuel to be served on the galactic black market, such fuel made from the bodies of organic beings has been banned in most star systems in the milky way galaxy. Alpha (who's being obscured by shadows with his face out of view) chimes in to tell the other council members that the sectors of the other allied worlds (that being sectors 1 through 50 each stationed on a different planet) have been putting up a decent fight against the Loxodontosapien invaders, which is why they're targeting Earth next. and to make matters worse, Sector 51 is left in a vulnerable position now that their greatest asset has been compromised. Ta'Runkk then asks Alpha "you mean the girl?" Alpha then tells his fellow council member "Sure she's young and prone to making extremely reckless decisions, but for now I put my faith in Agent Delta, if there's anyone who can set her straight it's him, as Delta is the agent with the closest relationship with the child". we then cut back to Sector 51 HQ where we see Lena escorted back into her room by Agent Delta, Lena saying "you can't send me back to my room, you know I can just teleport out of here". Delta then points to Lena's inhibitor cuffs and tells her "that's why those inhibitor cuffs STAY ON, to make sure you don't" while Lena turns her head to see Alex being escorted off by Commander Epsilon and his men, Lena asking Delta "he's gonna be okay, isn't he?" Delta tells her "he'll be fine, Epsilon is just taking him in for interrogation. after that we'll memory-wipe him and safely re-unite him with his family, he won't remember anything that has transpired in the last couple days, not even meeting you" Lena tells him "you can't do that! he's my friend, my ONLY friend!" Delta tells her "sorry kid, this is for your own good" before closing the door on her and locking her in, an angry Lena banging her cuffed hands on the door screaming "LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT!" as Agent Delta walks away, he has a flashback to his younger self holding a baby Lena as her traumatized mother is being taken away by Sector 51 agents, Delta telling the crying infant "don't worry little one, I'm going to take good care of you" before cutting back to the present where we see a tear shed from underneath Delta's shades, Delta monologuing to himself saying "Lena, you may hate me now for what I'm doing, but one day you'll understand that I'm just trying to protect you" before slamming his fist onto the wall in frustration which spooks the poor LGMs. the LGMs then inform Delta that Alpha has requested his presence. After that, we cut to Alex being taken into the interrogation room, Sector 51 soldiers holding him at gunpoint as he sits down to be interrogated by Epsilon, the commander asking Alex "alright kid, talk. what did you see back there in Lincoln County?" Alex then tells him "first tell me where my Parents are. what did you do to them?" Epsilon tells Alex "your parents are fine, boy. we memory-wiped them, that way they won't remember seeing any alien activity. now tell me, did you see anything strange happening in Lincoln County, like say, something Extraterrestrial? and you better tell us the truth, no funny business".  We then cut to Delta returning to Alpha's communication room where Alpha asks Delta if he has succeeded in getting the starchild to calm down, and Delta tells him that Lena is currently being held in her room with inhibitor cuffs to prevent her from using her powers until she can learn discipline. Alpha then asks him "Is there something that is troubling you, Delta?" Delta confesses to Alpha that Lena escaped the facility and befriended a civilian, a boy about her age named Alex Quinn. he goes on to say that Lena seems to care a lot about him, to the point where she couldn't stand the thought of him being memory-wiped after interrogation. Alpha tells Delta that upholding Sector 51's oath to secrecy is higher priority than the feelings of a half-alien teenager. Delta begins to feel guilt for his actions, however Alpha informs Delta that there are bigger things to deal with, informing him that a faction of rogue Loxodontosapiens are here on Earth and are abducting humans to be turned into fuel, showing footage of the aliens abducting random humans and taking them aboard their ship. Delta informs Alpha that he will inform Commander Epsilon right away. We then cut back to Epsilon interrogating Alex where Alex tells Epsilon "Fine I'll tell you the truth, I did encounter this green slime alien AND I helped Lena capture it and bring it to you guys". Epsilon tells Alex "great, that's all I needed to hear..." And pulls out his memory-wipe device only for Delta to enter the room to inform Epsilon that people are being abducted by a group of rogue Loxodontosapiens and are gonna be turned into fuel if they don't rescue them. Epsilon cocks his gun, telling Delta that he's tangoed with Loxodontosapiens before, years ago in an abduction case in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Alex's eyes widen upon hearing what Delta said, shouting "My Parents! They're in danger!" Delta then tells Alex "you're staying here until we get back, don't even think about causing any trouble" before Delta and Epsilon both leave the room and gear up before the two hop aboard one of the Sector 51 jets and blast off, flanked by a squad of jets piloted by Sector 51 agents. the jets then all get caught in the tractor beam of the Ivory Blade as it hovers above Lincoln County, Nevada, the jets getting sucked up into the ship where they are surrounded by Loxodontosapiens along with General Tusk who tells Sector 51 to surrender, saying that they all just walked into their deaths. however Epsilon tells the Loxodontosapiens "We humans don't surrender that easily" followed by all the Sector 51 agents leaping out of their jets and charging at the elephant-like aliens with guns blazing, Delta flipping around the cumbersome aliens while dual-wielding his laser pistols, however their fire does little but scratch the Loxodontosapiens thick hide, the Loxodontosapiens firing lasers from their eyes forcing the soldiers to take evasive action followed by Delta turning his head to see Alex's parents in the test tubes, shocked to see that they've been abducted. General Tussk then shouts "ENOUGH!" and stomps his foot causing a shockwave that knocks all the soldiers off their feet. Epsilon and his men are then dragged off by the Loxodontosapiens and placed in the tanks of blue liquid followed by Delta shouting "NO!" as he aims his pistols at General Tussk only for him to be apprehended by two Loxodontosapiens and tossed in another tank of blue liquid where he falls unconscious, uttering the words "Lena... I failed you" before closing his eyes. We then cut back to Sector 51 HQ where Lena then hears Agent Delta's voice saying "Lena... I failed you" and has visions of Delta, Epsilon, and Alex's parents in jars of blue liquid much to her shock and horror. we then cut to Alex in the interrogation room struggling to free himself of his handcuffs only for a pair of Sector 51 agents to enter the room to take him away, telling the kid that it's time for him to go. Alex then tells them "Not without Lena!" and kicks one agent in the shin knocking him down followed by the other agent whipping out his pistol and firing at Alex who holds his hands up the laser bolt shooting off his handcuffs freeing Alex in the process who slides under the agent and trips him over before locking the both of them in the interrogation room. Alex then unlocks the door to Lena's room where she has a happy reunion with Alex, hugging him. Alex asks Lena if she's okay, and Lena tells him that she thinks that Delta and Epsilon are in trouble, along with his parents. the two then escape down the elevator into the vehicle hangar where they are caught red-handed by the LGMs who are repairing the UFO and are not happy at Lena for sneaking off with it and crashing it. one of the LGMs shakes his wrench at Lena, Alex asking what they're mad about. Lena tells Alex that she was the one who crashed their spaceship (by accident). Lena explains to the LGMs that Delta and Epsilon are in trouble and asks them to fly them over to the mothership so that they can rescue them. the LGMs still don't trust Lena, and Alex whips a chocolate bar out of his pocket and offers it to the LGMs in exchange for giving them a ride. one LGM tries a piece of Alex's candy bar and becomes a chocolate addict, agreeing to give them a ride in the UFO followed by the two teens boarding the flying saucer. Alex asks Lena "wow can't believe I'm inside an actual alien spacecraft" Lena then tells him "the LGMs didn't build this thing for human passengers, so sadly there are no seat belts. so hold onto your butt if you know what's good for you" followed by the chocolate-addicted LGM hopping in the pilot's seat and taking the flying saucer into the sky, the saucer flying below the much larger Ivory Blade. Alex is freaked out by the sight of the much bigger ship, asking if his parents really are being held captive in that thing. Lena tells him that she saw it in her vision before telling the LGMs that they're gonna need to get closer to the ship if they are to teleport inside, as she can only teleport short distances. the LGM pilot tells Lena "no problem" and flies the UFO then gets closer to the mothership Lena tosses the gun of a Sector 51 agent to Alex telling him that he's gonna need this followed by Lena grabbing Alex's hand and the two teleporting aboard the Ivory Blade where they hide from a group of Loxodontosapiens patrolling the corridors of the ship. Alex is confused by the strange appearance of these aliens, saying "are those... Elephant men?" Lena turns her head to ask him "Elephant men, really?" Alex then tells Lena "That's what me and my friends on my UFO conspiracy theory blog call them" Lena then puts her hand on Alex's mouth when one of the "Elephant Men" turn their head to prevent Alex from blowing their cover. once the coast is clear, Lena and Alex come across the pods containing Alex's parents, along with pods containing Agent Delta and Commander Epsilon. the two then hide behind one of the pods where they see two Elephant men plus General Tussk enter the room carrying a metal tray, followed by one of the pods being drained of blue liquid with the unconscious human falling into the tray and melting into a pile of blue liquid before Tussk orders his troops to carry off the shipment of organic ship fuel. Lena and Alex both look at each other both finding the alien general's words alarming, and once they leave the room Alex whips out the gun Lena gave him and shoots the computer causing the blue liquid to drain out freeing all the captive humans. Alex has a happy reunion with his parents who hare happy to see their son again while Lena has a happy reunion with Agent Delta who thanks Lena for saving him. Epsilon is confused, asking "What're you two brats doing here? you were supposed to stay put" followed by Lena telling Epsilon "Alex and I just saved everyone's lives, you and your men should be grateful". Delta stands in-between Lena and Epsilon to reason with the two of them, saying "alright you two, we can work things out AFTER we escape with our lives" followed by our heroes escaping through the hallways with the rescued civilians, only for them to be stopped in their tracks by General Tussk and the Elephant Men who fire their optic lasers at our heroes only for Lena to create a force field to protect everybody, Lena telling the others to escape while she holds them off, saying that she can't hold her force field for much longer. the Sector 51 agents escort the civilians to safety while Lena's force field starts to crack, Alex shouting "Lena!" followed by Agent Delta rushing in to Lena's rescue, dual-wielding his twin laser pistols blasting his way through hordes of Loxodontosapien troops until he reaches Lena only for General Tussk to try to stomp on the two, shouting "you're not getting away from me that easily" only for Lena to grab Delta's hand for the two to teleport to safety just in time over to where the Sector 51 soldiers and escaped civilians are. Lena tells everybody to hold hands with her and they do, followed by Lena teleporting EVERYBODY into the LGM's flying saucer. Agent Delta thanks the LGMs for coming to their rescue, followed by the LGM pilot telling everyone else to hold on. the UFO then flies away from the Ivory Blade only for it to get caught in the ship's tractor beam. however help is on the way when a fleet of Loxodontosapien ships show up to surround Tussk's ship and aim their weapons, Alpha informing our heroes over Intercom that he called in the cavalry. Councilman Ta'Runkk appears on the Ivory Blade's computer screen to tell General Tussk and his cronies that they're all under arrest, Tussk raising his hands in the air screaming "NOOOOO!!!!" we then cut to the next day back at Sector 51 HQ where we see Lena, Alex, Delta, and Epsilon in the communication room where Alpha congratulates the four for helping bring General Tussk to justice, saying "As we speak those rogue Loxodontosapiens are being brought forth to the Council of Planets to stand trial for their war crimes. as for the rescued civilians, they're being transported safely back to their home and will be memory-wiped immediately, won't remember a thing about being abducted by aliens, including the human teenager's parents". Alex then asks "Then what about me, Mr. disembodied voice on a computer screen?" Alpha then tells Alex "simple, you will be allowed to visit Lena and Sector 51 as long as you promise to keep the existence of our organization a secret". Alex salutes, saying "your secret's safe with me, sir". Alpha then tells Lena "As for the starchild, she will be allowed to visit the Quinn family whenever she wants" followed by Lena hugging Alex shouting "Thank you boss!" Delta then puts his hand on Lena's shoulder, telling her "I'm just glad to have you back, Lena. I now realize that I might've treated you too harshly, I hope you can forgive me". Lena then hugs Delta telling him "I forgive you, big guy" all the while Epsilon gives Delta the stink eye, telling Lena "you may have saved our skins half-breed, but it doesn't change the fact that you've got a lot to learn. take it from a war veteran like me, the real world can be a cruel place". Lena then shrugs, saying "What can I say? I'm a work-in-progress". We then cut to the Quinn household where we see Lena sitting down having dinner with Alex and his family, Alex's parents wondering where Alex and his friend went off to, Emily saying that she's been worried sick about him. Jack raises an eyebrow and asks Alex if he and Lena have been sneaking off and having any "secret visits" behind their backs making poor Alex comedically spit out his drink with embarrassment while Lena chuckles, assuring Mr. Quinn that they're just really good friends. Lena then hears a ring on the doorbell and goes to see none other than Agent Delta on the other side of the door. Alex's parents ask who he is, and Delta says "I'm uh... Lena's father. it's her time to go home" followed by Lena smiling. Lena then waves goodbye to the Quinn family before she hops in the back of the Sector 51 van with Delta our episode ending with them driving off.
