Episode 11: Friend or Foe

Our episode opens up with a flashback showing a young Eterius with his wife Inanna watching a broadcasted video of the Council of Planets (led by a young Alpha) all cast their votes on the destruction of the Anunnaki homeworld of Nibiru. Eterius vouches against the decision, saying "you can't do this! this planet is our home!" Followed by the anonymous Alpha saying "sorry Eterius, but the council has agreed that the Anunnaki empire has become too powerful for its own good. For millennia your kind have tried to play god, travelling the galaxy manipulating the genes of every species you come across all in the name of your religious mission to remake the universe in your image, cultivating far too much power and influence for any civilization to handle. I'm truly sorry, but it has to be done, for the sake of the universe". Followed by the Council of Planets base deploying a black hole bomb onto Nibiru's surface causing the whole planet to implode while Eterius watches in horror from the bridge of his ship and breaks down crying. Inanna comforts her husband grieving the loss of his planet, telling him "It's okay, we can find a new home to start a new life on". We then cut to a year later where we see Eterius and Inanna living in their new house on Earth somewhere in the Kansas countryside with their triangular ship buried underneath the farmhouse. The two of them now live a quaint, peaceful life with their infant daughter Vira (whom has pink hair and a pink forehead crystal just like her mother). However their peaceful Earth life is disrupted when the Friends of Earth barge into their house, pointing their guns at the Anunnaki family, the FOE leader saying "didn't you filthy ETs get the memo that your kind aren't welcome here?". Inanna pleads for Mercy, saying "please sir, we came to this planet seeking asylum after our planet was destroyed! we're innocent!" All the while baby Vira starts crying. Both Inanna and Vira are rounded up by the Friends of Earth with the FOE leader saying "sorry Ma'am, but your kind are far from innocent, you filthy aliens are a danger to human society which is why we can't let you run freely on our planet. Put her in the back of the truck" followed by the Friends of Earth grabbing Inanna and tossing both her and her baby in the back of the truck with a bunch of other alien fugitives while poor Eterius is forced to watch as his wife and child are taken away. Eterius asks the FOE leader "where are you taking her?" as he is being restrained by FOE members. The FOE leader tells him "Don't worry, she and the rest of the ETs we've captured are being taken to our lair to be executed". Eterius gets angry and uses his psychokinesis to push the FOE goons off of him before activating his sword construct to slash at the FOE leader's face slicing his mask off, but his hands are covering his face so we don't see who he is as he limps away. We then cut to the present day where we see Johnny being attacked by the Friends of Earth, causing Johnny to attack back with his tail, killing several FOE goons with his venom only for him to get hit with a stun gun causing him to collapse on the ground followed by two Friends of Earth members apprehending the half-sasorian, Johnny asking the Friends of Earth "What do you want with me?" followed by the FOE leader pointing his sword up to Johnny's neck, telling him "You're one of the Zodiacs, I plan on using you as bait to draw out Eterius. him and I have a score to settle" followed by the FOE tossing Johnny into the back of the truck. After that, we cut to Lena and Alex watching a TV broadcast of Senator Pierce delivering a speech in Washington to a crowd of supporters of how he admires the Friends of Earth due to how they get the job done properly when it comes to defending this planet from alien invaders, unlike those dirty ET-lovers at Sector 51 causing his crowd of fans to cheer chanting "no more aliens!" and "ET go home!". Lena rolls her eyes and turns the TV off, saying "maybe it was a mistake wiping that guy's memory" followed by Alex who's sitting on her bed loving on Poochie tells her "Delta said Alpha had his reasons, it was to keep the existence of aliens from getting out to the public. Alien citizens who live here already face enough discrimination from people like him and the Friends of Earth just for not being of this world, If the rest of the world found out about their existence things could get real bad real bad". Poochie suddenly coughs up the two halves of the I-love-you-letter she made for Johnny that she tore apart in the last episode. Lena picks up the two halves to look at them intensely, reminded of how she was betrayed by Johnny while Alex looks at her concerned, Alex asking Lena "you're thinking about Johnny, aren't you" followed by Lena shouting at Alex "What about him? he's a jerk who hurt my feelings, end of story!" scaring poor Poochie causing the alien dog to whimper. Lena walks through the hallway before tossing the two halves over her shoulder which are picked up by an LGM who brings the halves to Agent Delta to look at them, Delta putting the two halves together and is shocked to see that Lena had a secret crush on Johnny (at least up until he betrayed her). After that, we cut to the tied up Johnny being brought by the Friends of Earth to Eterius's old farmhouse who toss him onto the floor, the FOE leader telling Johnny to not move until his boss come with the FOE goons pointing their . Johnny tells them "You won't get away with this. when the Zodiacs come, they're going to kill all you pathetic humans!" as he struggles to free his tail from the energy chains restraining him only for his restraints to electrocute him, with the Friends of Earth's leader saying "don't even think about freeing yourself, not until your boss comes to your rescue that is". the FOE leader then broadcasts a video message to the bridge of the Nibiru getting the attention of the Zodiacs, the FOE leader showing the captive Johnny to Eterius and his goons. the FOE Leader tells the Zodiacs "If you want your starchild back, meet me at your old family farmhouse and finally finish what we started 18 years ago". after the transmission ends Taurus asks Eterius "Lord Sagittarius, I suggest we crush them and rescue Scorpio at once!" only for Eterius to tell him "No Taurus, it's me they want. if I go then I'll fall directly into their trap. which is why I'm sending you, Cancer, and Pisces to rescue our lost scorpion in my place". After that, we cut back to Sector 51 HQ where we see Alex and Poochie meet up with Delta, Alex asking Delta if he's seen Lena, as he's worried for her. Delta then shows the halves of the torn-up letter to Alex who explains to Delta that Lena's still pretty upset about Johnny's betrayal. Delta asks Alex what he thinks where Lena went, and Alex tells him that maybe Poochie can help them find out, followed by Alex letting Poochie sniff Lena's scent from the two halves of the torn-up letter before we cut to Lena sitting in Joe's diner (wearing her hood to conceal her identity from the alien patrons who distrust humans) followed by Joe serving Lena her food himself, saying "Here are those Avalian zenobird wings you ordered young lady" followed by Joe using his fire-breath to cook the wings to perfection. after Joe pours Lena her drink of Camobian jungleberry-juice, Joe asks her what brings her back to these parts of town. Lena tells him "I was betrayed by someone close to me, so I ran away to forget about my problems". Joe then says "Ah, I see. you're not alone kid, lots of people like you are regular customers at this fine establishment. so why did this friend of yours betray you?" followed by Lena telling Joe "He turned out to be one of the Zodiacs" causing all the alien diner patrons to turn their heads to both Lena and Joe very awkwardly, Joe telling Lena "The Zodiacs? oh no I don't like them" followed by Lena asking him "Really? that surprises me since both of you seem to share the same dislike for humans". Joe then tells her "It's true that I'm not fond of how terrans treat us and I'm all for fighting for equality for all species in the known universe, but those Zodiacs are going about it the wrong way. they're no better than humans like Pierce and the Friends of Earth, if anything their acts of terrorism are making it worse for us aliens who moved to this rock just to make an honest living such as me and many others by claiming to speak for the people, contributing to the further division between the species. the folks here at alien town are good people, It's just that humans fear and hate what they don't understand". Lena then asks Joe "And what about Eterius?" as she starts to eat her grilled alien wings. Joe then tells her "In my opinion he's a self-righteous glark who perceives himself as the holier-than-thou savior of all oppressed ETs who live on this backwater planet, when in reality he's just an off-his-rocker cult leader who sees anyone who disagrees with his personal worldview as the enemy. what's he to you?" followed by Lena saying "I don't know myself, really" only for Taurus, Pisces, and Cancer enter Joe's diner scaring off many of the alien patrons followed by Taurus swallowing the plate full of wings whole and drinking the juice. Joe gets in the Zodiac's faces, saying "Sorry but your kind aren't allowed in my restaurant. you're scaring my customers away, so I'm gonna ask you to leave" all the while Lena lowers her head trying her best to keep a low profile. Pisces points her trident to Joe, telling him "Our business isn't with you Lacertan, It's the starchild we want". Joe tells them "sorry but she's not here" only for Cancer to say "Oh really?" and pulls down Lena's hand with his smaller claw revealing her identity to everyone in Joe's diner who gasp in shock and horror including Joe himself. Lena gives Joe a sorrowful look followed by Joe telling her "you four, take it outside". the three Zodiacs then grab Lena and drag her outside, followed by Lena activating her fist constructs asking the three "If it's a fight you three want, then I'll be glad to give you a beating" followed by Taurus telling Lena "We didn't come here looking for a fight, we came here to ask for your help". Lena asks the three "You really expect me to fall for that after you tried to kill me and my friends? Agent Delta has to walk around with a cybernetic spine because of you!" Cancer blocks Lena's punch with his big claw, telling her "Our friend Scorpio has been kidnapped by the friends of earth! you've fought them before, so we came to you hoping you would help us rescue him" followed by Lena asking the crab-like alien "Johnny hurt and betrayed me, the Friends of Earth can have him for all I care!" only for Taurus to restrain Lena, telling her "We're telling the truth, you have to listen to us!" followed by Lena switching to her sword construct, Lena shouting "let me go!". Lena then locks weapons with Pisces who asks her "would you really abandon one of your own kind to be killed by those barbarians? He didn't betray you out of choice, and if you were in his position he would have done the same for you" causing Lena to deactivate her energy constructs. Lena then tells the Zodiacs "fine, I'll help you rescue your friend. But if you try anything funny I won't hesitate to punch you in the face". Taurus smirks, saying "we won't give you the chance" as the Zodiacs take her aboard the transport pod. Meanwhile Alex, Delta, and Poochie arrive at the outskirts of alien town to see the pod take off. After that, we cut back to the captive Johnny at the farmhouse, Johnny wondering what's taking the Zodiacs so long to come to his rescue. The FOE leader tells Johnny "oh don't worry they'll be here soon enough" followed by the Zodiac's transport pod landing in front of the farmhouse. The four then burst through the wall of the farmhouse, Johnny exclaiming "Lena! Didn't expect you to come to my rescue. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one" followed by Lena rolling her eyes telling Johnny "Just because I agreed to save you doesn't mean I forgive you for how you betrayed me". The Friends of Earth leader exclaims "I didn't ask for you. Where's your leader Eterius?" Followed by Taurus cracking his knuckles saying "sorry but he's not available so you're just gonna have to settle with us" followed by Taurus, Pisces, Cancer, and Lena all fighting their way through waves of Friends of Earth goons only for them to be captured one by one and restrained by the same energy chains holding Johnny. The FOE leader holds his sword up to Johnny's neck, asking him "any last words before I execute you and your friends?" Followed by a voice from behind saying "Let them go. After all, it's me you want" followed by Eterius entering the room before activating his sword construct. The FOE leader then turns around and whips out his sword, saying "ah Eterius, it's been 18 years since we last met face to face. I still can't forget the scar you gave me that fateful day" followed by the FOE leader removing his mask revealing himself to be none other than Senator Pierce. Lena and Johnny both gasp in shock of this massive revelation, which is undercut by Johnny saying "eh, I already figured it out". Senator Pierce then tells Eterius "I can't wait to reunite you with your dearly-departed wife and daughter" followed by Eterius shouting "you terrans are a barbaric, cruel species spreading your wars and violence to all other free worlds, but no more! it ends here!" leading to the two clashing swords. Pierce then gives the hand signal followed by the FOE goons firing energy chains to restrain Eterius only for him to slice them into pieces with his sword, saying "Try again, primitives" before using his psychokinesis to freeze them all in place before conjuring up an energy axe construct in his other hand dual-wielding both energy weapons as he teleports around the room taking out all the FOE goons one-by-one causing Senator Pierce to take a step back looking around to see all his men dead. Eterius then uses both his sword and axe constructs to free his fellow Zodiacs, Taurus cracking his knuckles as he looks down at the terrified Senator Pierce, followed by Eterius telling Taurus "Leave him Taurus, he's all mine. time to avenge my beloved Inanna and Vira" followed by Eterius switching over to his crossbow construct to shoot Senator Pierce in the side causing the FOE leader to collapse on the floor and pass out from his injuries. Lena still restrained asks "Hey! What about me?" followed by Johnny looking out the window to see a squad of Sector 51 vehicles arriving on the scene. Johnny takes pity on Lena and slashes her restraints off with his tail before helping her back up on her feet. Lena looks at Johnny, asking him "You saved me, why?" Johnny tells her "Just because you're fighting for the enemy team doesn't mean we have to be enemies". Lena tells him "Guess you're not so bad after all". Pisces asks Sagittarius "So what are we going to do with the starchild?" followed by Sagittarius telling Pisces "Leave her. she is none of our concern" making the other Zodiacs act suspicious as to why their leader is acting so protective of this child, Cancer telling Lena "better watch your back kid, next time we meet we'll be enemies once more just like old times". the Zodiacs then board their transport pod followed by Johnny giving Lena a kiss on the cheek before hopping aboard the pod with his fellow Zodiacs as they float up back into the Nibiru. meanwhile the injured Senator Pierce is helped back up by his followers only for Sector 51 Personnel to burst through the door to point their guns at them, Pierce saying "Next time we meet, I will have my revenge on ALL you filthy ETs!" before retreating with the Friends of Earth. Delta and Alex then enter the room where Delta hugs Lena happy to see that she's okay. Lena tells Delta that it was actually Johnny who saved her, turns out there may still be some good buried deep beneath him. Alex tells her "let's hope so" as he looks out the window of the abandoned farmhouse up to the sky where we zoom out to see the Nibiru hovering above Earth's atmosphere. we then cut to Johnny sneaking around the ship's corridors where he overhears Eterius talking to his three generals in his throne room as they kneel before their master, Pisces asking Eterius "There is something we've been meaning to ask Lord Sagittarius, why do you care so much for the Starchild?" with Cancer telling her "I think he secretly has a soft spot for her" followed by Taurus telling the two to quiet and show some respect to their leader. Eterius looks down at the three from his throne and tells them "15 years ago, three years after I lost my wife and firstborn daughter and with them the future of the Annunaki empire, I discovered that Annunaki and Humans were genetically compatible and theoretically capable of producing viable offspring. so I abducted a human female to bear a child for me thus securing the survival of my species. Lena Sullivan... is my daughter". Johnny's eyes widen upon hearing this revelation, however Eterius senses his presence and communicates with Johnny telepathically, telling him "You heard everything didn't you? I don't want you telling a word of this to her, she must not know the truth about her heritage until the right time. she is still fighting for the enemy, remember that Sector 51 were the ones who killed your mother Scorpio" followed by Johnny getting on his knees and screaming in agony ending our episode on a cliffhanger.
