S2 Episode 11: Friend of FOE?

Our episode opens up in the Friends of Earth's secret hideout where we see a young female recruit (her face concealed under a hood) training by punching and kicking a punching bag with an alien face drawn on it repeatedly. Senator Pierce approaches the recruit and tells her she's ready, handing her a mask and a pair of energy sais. she then puts the mask on and throws a sai at the punching bag before we cut to the Zodiacs finding a crashed pod outside the Nibiru wreckage, Aries saying "you think it's our boss?" only for Leo to shoot her down by saying "I highly doubt it, otherwise Eterius would have announced his glorious return" Virgo tells both of them to stay back, and Virgo opens the pod revealing a sleeping alien resembling a fish/goat hybrid with a cybernetic arm and eye. the alien then says "hey guys, sorry I'm late" Virgo then asks "and who are you? you're not my dad" Leo then tells her "that's Capricorn, he's one of us. he went missing many years ago, until now" Aries then asks "where have you been all this time? and what's with the new arm and eye?" Capricorn looks at his cybernetic arm and says "I was abducted and spent these past few years as a captive of the Dro, those savages experimented on me and turned me into a cyborg" Virgo walks up to Capricorn and tells him "you came just in time, my father Sagittarius is off-world and the Zodiac's ranks are being dwindled no thanks to this planet's sector, sector 51" only for the Zodiacs to get jumped by the Friends of Earth, Pierce telling the Zodiacs that they will pay for making a mockery of them (referring to the events of "revenge of the zodiacs") while the young female recruit joins the fight, asking Pierce permission to relieve those filthy ETs of their heads. Pierce pulls out his sword and says "gladly" followed by the two fighting Virgo and Capricorn, Pierce deflecting Virgo's energy constructs with his sword while telling her "you'll be joining your mother pretty soon once we're done with you" Virgo saying "you're not fit to speak her name" while Capricorn fires at the recruit with lasers from between his horns which she dodges, the recruit subduing Capricorn allowing the Friends of Earth to capture him with their net launchers while the Zodiacs are forced to retreat when they are shot at by FOE goons. the recruit holds her energy sai up to Capricorn's neck but Pierce tells her that he wants this ET alive for interrogation, taking interest in the alien's arm. we then cut to the next day at Lincoln County high where we see Alex bump into one of his classmates, a girl his age by the name of Cassie Lin. Alex tries to flirt with Cassie, asking her how she's been doing. Cassie tells him "horrible, I just got another scolding by the principal for being late to class again" Alex then asks "where exactly have you been sneaking out to?" Cassie tells him "that is none of your concern. besides, aren't you the kid who used to run a UFO conspiracy blog?" Alex then says "yeah, but I don't do that anymore. I gave up on chasing aliens a long time ago" Cassie chuckles, telling him "you're funny, I like you" before whispering into Alex's ear "don't tell anyone, but I secretly believe in aliens too" Alex's eyes widen exclaiming "no way, you too? I thought I was the only one!" followed by Cassie opening her locker showing tons of alien stickers and memorabilia making Alex geek out seeing how he finally has someone in his school that he can relate to. we then cut to Sector 51 HQ where Alex tells Lena about the girl he met at school while petting Poochie, telling her about how Cassie is into aliens and UFO conspiracy stuff just like her. Lena crosses her arms showing signs of jealousy and says "uh-huh, and what does she have that I don't?" Alex blushes says "I swear it's nothing like that! you'll always be my best friend, it's just not that common when you find someone who's into the same stuff that I'm into" only for Eterius to start talking to Lena telepathically, telling her "you know he's lying to you, he's clearly down bad for that new girl as you earth kids would say" Lena then screams "shut up!" hurting Alex's feelings causing him to walk out making Poochie whimper, Lena exclaiming "Alex wait, I wasn't talking to you!" Eterius telling her "It's too late for that now, you've just turned him against you. its probably for the best, your friendship with the boy would have caused you more pain long-term. you will outlive him by a couple thousand years after all" we then cut to Capricorn waking up in the Friends of Earth HQ asking what's going on, Senator Pierce then looks into Capricorn's eyes and asks him "those cybernetics in your body, were those given to you by the Dro?" Capricorn then asks Pierce "how do you know who the Dro were?" Pierce then tells him "because they were the filthy ETs who abducted my daughter, and you're gonna tell me everything about them" however Capricorn refuses, telling him "I refuse to tell you a glarkin' word" the new recruit asks "what is he talking about?" Pierce tells her that this is not a conversation for her ears telling her to go play with her phone or whatever kids these day do, the recruit leaves while Senator Pierce electrocutes Capricorn to make him talk with Capricorn saying "I was abducted by the Dro and experimented on, and then I escaped. that's all I know, I know nothing about your daughter I swear! now let me go" Pierce ignores Capricorn's pleas for mercy and keeps electrocuting him for fun only for Virgo to enter Senator Pierce's mind demanding him to hand over Capricorn or else she will burn the Friends of Earth to the ground. Pierce tells her "fine then, you can have him back. we'll have him delivered to you safely in the underpass in downtown Alien town" before we cut back to Alex walking home where his parents ask where Lena is, and Alex tells her that they're not together anymore. Alex's dad Jack then says "relationship problems, been there done that son" only for the Quinn family to get a knock on the door that turns out to be Cassie who hugs Alex happy to see him again, the two go up into Alex's room and the two start chatting about Aliens while Lena and Poochie spy on them from outside the window, Lena asking her alien doggo "is  that the girl Alex was talking about?" and notices her holding Alex's hand breaking Lena's heart causing her to take Poochie and teleport away, Alex noticing the flash of light much to his confusion. Cassie then gets a call from Senator Pierce telling her to return to base now, Cassie telling Alex that she has something to take care of before telling him goodbye which makes Alex suspicious causing him to sneak off. Lena and Poochie return to Sector 51 HQ only to bump into Agent Delta who asks Lena why the long face. Lena then tells him "Alex and I had a falling out, and now he's hanging with this other girl who's a conspiracy nerd just like he is!" Delta tells her "I'm no expert in relationships, especially those between teenagers, but maybe it's best for Alex to go back to his normal life outside of Sector 51, hanging out with other kids his age besides you. anyway, Alpha informed me that there is going to be a turf war between the Friends of Earth and the Zodiacs in Alien Town and we need you to help put a stop to it before innocent civilians are caught in the crossfire" Lena cracking her knuckles saying "that'll be good to get my mind off of Alex" with Poochie barking in agreement. we then cut to Alex sneaking through Alien town trying not to be spotted by any alien pedestrians where he sees the Zodiacs Virgo, Leo, and Aries having a confrontation with Senator Pierce and the Friends of Earth who bring forth the captive Capricorn, freeing him from his shackles and handing him over to the Zodiacs, Pierce telling Virgo "we gave you what you wanted, now keep your end of the bargain and leave this planet at once" meanwhile Alex notices the new recruit standing next to Pierce thinking to himself "judging by her body that female FOE goon looks like she's around my age, what's a kid doing serving an anti-alien hate group like the friends of earth?" only for Virgo to turn around and tell the Friends of Earth "I never keep my end of the bargain with lowly terrans" activating her whip construct and ordering her fellow Zodiacs to attack, Capricorn firing a blast from between his horns at the underpass that collapses on top of the Friends of Earth forcing Alex to run, the recruit noticing him exclaiming "Alex?" only for Sector 51 vehicles to arrive on the scene to help evacuate civilians with Senator Pierce exclaiming "oh great, here comes Sector 51 to ruin the party" followed by Epsilon and the troops opening fire on both the Zodiacs and the Friends of Earth. Delta then does battle with Senator pierce who deflects the laser blasts from Delta's guns with his sword, the two locking weapons while Lena confronts Virgo who tells her "long time no see sister, have you gotten stronger since we last fought?" Lena then says "you bet!" summoning her cannon construct at Virgo who flies out of the way with her wing constructs before summoning her own cannon construct leading to an epic beam struggle between the two sisters only for Lena to spot Alex running up to her exclaiming "Lena!" with Lena exclaiming "Alex, what are you doing here!?" only for her to get knocked into a nearby truck by Virgo who tells her "not strong enough" Alex helps Lena back up on her feet, telling her that he went looking for Cindy and wound up here, Lena exclaiming "what, your new girlfriend you dumped me for?" Alex telling her "It's nothing like that!" only for the two to get confronted by Capricorn, Alex asking "is that a fish or a goat?" Virgo then says "meet Capricorn, he's our new recruit. destroy them!" Capricorn fires a laser beam from his horns that forces Lena and Alex to both run, Delta also being confused by just what the heck Alex is doing here his confusion allowing Senator Pierce to get the upper hand holding his sword up to Delta's neck only for him to get whacked away by Leo's electric mace giving Delta a new problem to contend with having to fight off both Leo AND Aries only for Epsilon to come save Delta by blasting both Leo and Aries with his gatling gun tonfas while Delta counters Capricorn's laser blasts with his laser pistols while the FOE goons gang up on Virgo with Pierce slashing her in the back managing to capture her, Pierce grabbing her by the hair saying "you're coming with us princess" only for Virgo to activate her sword construct to stab Sentaor Pierce in the side causing him to let her go and collapse on the ground forcing the FOE troops to fall back and carry him to safety while Virgo and the zodiacs walk away, meanwhile Lena and Alex are both confronted by the mysterious FOE recruit who brandishes her energy sais with Lena activating her twin sword constructs, the recruit saying "so you're the famous Starchild I've heard stories about, bring it on" the two locking blades in an epic one-on-one fight that ends with the recruit pinning Lena to the ground holding her sai up to Lena's neck saying "now die you filthy ET!" only for Alex to pick up the gun of a fallen FOE goon and point it at the recruit shouting "leave her alone!" shooting the sai out of her hand. the recruit exclaims "Alex? why are you defending this half-alien freak?" Alex tilts his head saying "do I know you?" the recruit then takes her mask off revealing it to be none other than Cassie much to the shock of both Lena and Alex, Lena exclaiming "no freakin' way" Alex asks her "Cassie? why are you with the Friends of Earth?" Cassie tells Alex "because I believe in their cause, my father died in an alien attack only for the government to sweep it under the rug and act like it never happened. I wanted justice for what happened, so Senator Pierce offered me to join the Friends of Earth promising that I'll get a chance at revenge by wiping all this unwanted alien scum off our beautiful blue planet, I had no clue you were friends with one of THEM!" Lena then tells her "that's crazy talk, I can't believe Alex would ever fall for you!" Alex tells Cassie "not all aliens are bad, Lena here is half-alien and she's my best friend" Cassie tells him "I used to think you were cool Alex, now I see you for what you are: a dirty alien sympathizer, now you can die with your little ET friend" picking up her energy sai and charging at the two of them only for Agent Delta to shoot her with his laser pistols knocking her out cold, Delta telling the two teens "don't worry, I only set them to stun. she'll be alright" we then cut back to Sector 51 HQ where we see Lena looking at Alex sulking and feels sorry for him, as she can only imagine how it must feel finding someone you thought was a friend was actually an enemy. Delta then sits down to talk to Alex, telling him that he completely understands what he is going through, telling him that he went through the exact same thing with Theta. this makes Alex feel better, thanking Delta for the pep talk followed by Poochie giving Alex a kiss. we then cut to Cassie returning to the FOE base to visit Senator Pierce who's being kept on life support shocked to see him in such a state, asking what happened. a FOE member informs her that it was the Zodiacs who did this to their leader. we then cut to the Zodiacs Virgo, Capricorn, Leo, and Aries, walking through the Nevada desert only for them to look up and see a shuttle land in front of them and out steps none other than Eterius who says "hello my children, good to see you again" ending our episode on a cliffhanger that sets the stage for the two-part season 2 finale.
