Our episode opens up in the past, in 1947 on what is dubbed the "day of first contact" where we see a flying saucer crash-land on Earth in Roswell, New Mexico. the crash is spotted by a simple rancher (let's just call him "Al") who investigates the craft which he opens to see a badly-injured Grey alien holding a bunch of little green men (LGMs) in his arms. the injured Grey, named Xeno, tells the rancher "take care of them, keep them safe" before dying of his injuries. the LGMs all leap out of the craft to investigate their surroundings, with the rancher kneeling down to offer his hand to the tiny green creature who's small hand caresses his big finger and smiles. we then cut to 80 years later in the present day where we see Delta, Lena, and Alex walking the streets of Alien town with the LGMs to see the festival that Alien Town is holding for "First Contact day" which Delta explains to the kids that every year the residents of Alien Town celebrate a holiday called "First Contact Day" to celebrate the day in 1947 when the people of Earth made first contact with life beyond the stars. Lena says "cool" as she holds Poochie by the leash. Alex then turns his head to Delta and asks him "wait, 1947... you're not talking about Roswell are you?" as he spots a Roswell-themed parade float passing by. Delta tells him "yep. it was a derelict spacecraft crashing in Roswell, New Mexico that ushered in mankind making contact with extraterrestrials. that's also where these little guys came from" Delta pointing to the LGMs who are busy getting super-into the festivities partying in the streets with the alien. we see Joe running a food stand handing alien cotton candy with worms inside it, of which we see an LGM snacking on alongside an early-bird cameo of Joe's niece Kamyla in the background amongst the crowd of patrons. Lena and Alex walks up to Joe who tells the two "happy first contact day!" Alex is confused, asking him "wait, I thought the people of Alien town hated humans" Joe tells Alex "It's a common misconception kid, we Alien towners don't hate humans, we just don't like how you earthlings treat us as second-class citizens that's all. It's not you that we have a problem with, it's your intolerant behavior. besides, first contact day is supposed to celebrate our differences as fellow sentient lifeforms in the galaxy so I'll treat you with the same respect that your kind should be treating us" Alex smiles, telling Joe "Thank you, that's so generous! nice to have a very nuanced and understanding conversation with an alien for once" Joe chuckles, saying "don't mention it kid, so are you gonna grab something from the menu or what?" Alex looks at all the options and is grossed out, Alex gags before telling Joe "sorry but I can't afford anything, I don't got any alien currency on me" all the while Lena forks over some gylaks to buy alien pet treats for Poochie. We then cut to the Council of Planets up in space where we see the members of the council sharing a toast to first contact day, including Alpha (who's still kept in shadow hiding his face) however Councilwoman Yma, representative of the Grey species from the Zeta-Reticuli system, isn't celebrating. the Virdian councilman Gren asks her what's wrong. Yma then says "this so-called first contact day all of you less-enlightened species celebrate, was the day something very valuable to the Grey species was stolen from us" Alpha then asks her "you're not talking about the LGMs, are you?" Yma then says "what you Terrans call little green men were our people's specially-bred labor force, and 80 years ago on this very day a traitor to our kind named Xeno stole them from us and crashed his spacecraft on Earth. now we want them back, by any means necessary" Councilman Ta'Runkk speaks up, saying "Yma, be reasonable. the LGMs were being treated unfairly being treated unfairly by your people for centuries, you know Slavery has been banned in several star systems" Alpha agrees, saying "I concur, the LGMs live safe, happy lives servicing us at Sector 51 on Earth where they are treated fairly" Yma then says "then we at Sector 16 will have to take them back by any means necessary if Earth doesn't surrender, even if it means declaring interplanetary war" we then cut back to Alien town where Delta gets a call from Commander Epsilon who tells him "Alpha wants to talk to you, he says it's urgent. a council of planets-related emergency" Delta tells Lena, Alex, and the LGMs that it's time to go, much to the disappointment of everybody. we then cut back to Sector 51 HQ where we see Commander Epsilon and Agent Delta enter the communication chamber to commune with Alpha, Delta asking the anonymous head of their organization what the emergency seems to be. Alpha then tells him "Councilwoman Yma, representative of the Zeta-Reticuli system on the council of planets, has informed me that her species the greys want what is rightfully theirs back so she'll be paying a visit to Earth today. and if we don't agree to her terms, the Greys threaten to declare war on humanity" Epsilon crosses his arms while asking "so what is it they want from us so desperately that they'll be willing to blow us into oblivion?" Alpha answers with "The LGMs" before ending his transmission. Delta leaves the room hanging his head low, Epsilon following him through the hallway asking Delta what's wrong. Delta tells him "Lena isn't going to like this" Epsilon tells him "It's not like she's going to understand what's at stake here, she's just a dumb kid" Delta responds with "that's what I'm worried about. Alex will understand the nuance of the LGM situation, but Lena cares too much about the well-being of others to the point where her emotions often get the best of her and end up getting her into trouble" we then cut to the flying saucer landing in front of HQ with Delta and Epsilon along with a platoon of Sector 51 troops aiming their guns only for Epsilon to tell his men to stand down, saying "these are our guests" and out of the saucer steps Councilwoman Yma and a platoon of Greys following her, Delta greeting her in a nervous tone of voice "welcome to Earth, Councilwoman Yma." Yma in a snooty tone of voice tells Sector 51 "so this is Earth, I expected your world to be a lot less... primitive since your homeworld became a haven for all sentient species from across the cosmos, from what Alpha described at least. now where are the LGMs?" Epsilon then tells her "they're inside, right this way ma'am" as he and the troops escort her and the Greys into Sector 51 HQ all the while Delta keeps his head low and remains silent fearing what Lena is going to think, showing them into the main lobby where Lena and Alex along with Poochie are paling around with the LGMs, Alex geeking out upon noticing the greys enter the room exclaiming "no way, are those real-life grey aliens? this is the greatest day of my life" however the LGMs all get scared upon seeing the greys and start to huddle behind Lena while Poochie growls at them, Lena asking the little green men what's got them spooked, one LGM telling Lena in his native tongue "they've come to take us!" Lena asks Delta and Epsilon what's going on, and Delta tries to let Lena down gently by telling her "the Greys came here to take the LGMs back to their home planet in the Zeta-Reticuli star system" Councilwoman Yma interjects, saying "the LGMs are property of Zeta-Reticuli, surrender them to us or else your planet will suffer the consequences" Alex then asks "but Isn't that slavery tho? 'cause that's pretty messed up" Lena looks down at the frightened LGMs cowering behind her and activates her fist construct, saying "the LGMs are people, not property. you have NO right to take them away!" in an angry tone of voice, only for Delta to grab Lena's arm deactivating her fist construct and tells her "Lena stop! she's a member of the council of planets, show some respect" Councilwoman Yma stares down Lena telling her "foolish starchild, we bred the LGMs to serve us, to be the architects and engineers of the Grey civilization. we created them for that purpose, just as the Annunaki created us" Lena looks in confusion, asking "what?" Councilwoman Yma elaborates, saying "Do you think we can't recognize that trademark forehead gem of yours? millions of years ago we were once simple-minded creatures, then the Annunaki came to our homeworld and brought us down from the trees, enlightened us with the gift of Civilization and passed all their knowledge of advanced genetic engineering down to us, which is how we created your little green friends" Alex then looks at the LGMs and says "woah, no wonder why you little guys are so tech-savvy!" Lena gets all emotional and shouts "Delta please, tell me you won't let them take the LGMs away! you know this is wrong!" Councilwoman Yma looks at Lena with disgust, telling her "Xeno, the traitor who brought the LGMs to your planet, thought the same way. which is why he ended up got himself killed trying to liberate them from our rule, don't be stupid and end up like him" Delta puts both his hands on Lena's shoulders and looks her straight in the eyes, telling her "you don't know what's at stake here, if we don't agree to the Grey's terms and hand over the LGMs they will declare war on the human race. do you really want that to happen? because I sure don't. now go to your room and let us and the aliens have an adult conversation" Lena then runs off into her room crying. Delta with a guilty look on his face tells Yma "fine, the LGMs are yours. as long as your people keep your end of the bargain and leave in peace" Yma smirks her tiny mouth, saying "good to see someone in your sector has some semblance of logic" Commander Epsilon then says "all of us do, it's just the girl who doesn't understand the idea of having to make hard decisions" while Alex has a look of guilt on his face looking at how frightened the LGMs are by the presence of the Greys, Alex asking "you're not gonna hurt them when you take them back to your home planet, are you?" Councilwoman Yma responds with "Of course not Terran child, once we take them home we'll put them through reconditioning to remind them of who their real masters are. round them up!" we then see the Greys search the facility and start capturing the LGMs grabbing them by the neck with high-tech catching poles and putting them inside futuristic kennel-like containers, save for one LGM named Grok who hides under a table and manages to escape undetected. Grok then sneaks into Lena's bedroom to hide from the Greys to see Lena sulking in her bed. the LGM then climbs into Lena's bed and hops in her lab, Lena seeing the frightened look in Grok's eyes hugs him, saying "Don't worry, I won't let the Greys take you away" before teleporting him and herself away. we then cut back to the grays presenting Councilwoman Yma with all the LGMs they captured, Yma commenting on how every LGM seems to be present and accounted for... except for one. Yma asks Delta where the last one is, saying that if they don't have all the LGMs they will declare war on Earth. Delta then exclaims "Lena... she couldn't have!" Epsilon making the snarky comment "Y'know Delta, I knew that kid of yours was stupid but I didn't expect her to act THIS stupid" meanwhile Alex out of pure guilt asks Poochie to help him find Lena and he'll give him a treat, Poochie tracking her scent with Alex following the alien doggo outside carrying the bag of treats for the good boi. they then catch Lena outside with the LGM riding in her backpack, Alex informing Lena that the greys are pretty mad that she took one of their little green men. Lena saying "I know, and I plan to run away to a place where the Greys can't find him" Alex then asks her "you do know that if you do this you'll risk triggering a war between Earth and the Zeta-Reticuli system, right?" Lena then grabs her hoverboard and says "If the Greys are looking for a fight, then I'll be ready. as a famous 80s cartoon robot once said, freedom is the right of all sentient beings" Alex holds Lena and says "That's why I'm coming with, I don't like the idea of the LGMs being slaves either" Lena, Alex, and Poochie all hop on Lena's hoverboard with Grok in tow and zip off. Delta, Epsilon, and Councilwoman Yma arrive on the scene with Yma frustrated that the child has escaped with her LGM. Epsilon sees the teens and their alien doggo riding on Lena's hoverboard and informs Yma that the kids haven't gone far, offering to gather the troops and go after the brats. Yma tells him "that won't be necessary. my men will fire up the walkers and ravage your planet until we get the last LGM so that we can finally leave this accursed rock. I never liked you earthlings to begin with" as we see large tripod walkers being deployed from the Grey mothership. Delta pleads with her "Councilwoman Yma please, don't hurt her. she may be stubborn but she's still just a kid" Yma then snaps at Delta telling him "We already tried your way Agent Delta, and now the time for diplomacy is over. now we're doing it our way, by taking that last LGM back by force" we then cut to Lena and Alex arriving at the Sullivan household where they are greeted by Tyrone who's happy to see his big sis back giving her a hug. Lena asks Tyrone if mom and dad are here, saying that she and Alex need to hide an alien, Grok poking his head out of Lena's backpack and waving at Tyrone. Tyrone tells Lena that mom and dad are in the other room and that she's gonna have to sneak it into his room upstairs. the three kids then rush upstairs with Darnell asking Tyrone "son, you didn't tell me you were inviting your sister and her friend over" Tyrone tells him "I didn't invite them dad, they invited themselves. if you excuse me I gotta go" as the trio rush upstairs much to the suspicion of Darnell, Maria asking her husband "what's gotten into him?" Darnell telling his wife "I don't know honey, he seems to be hiding something" we then cut to Tyrone's room where we see Lena letting Grok the LGM out as he begins running around the bedroom with Poochie laying on Tyrone's bed, Tyrone is intrigued by the little green guy saying "aw he's kinda cute" while Grok begins building gadgets from Legos and other junk he finds on the floor of Tyrone's bedroom with Tyrone saying "and smart! how did he build this with just a bunch of junk" as he picks up the doo-hickey that the LGM made, Alex telling Tyrone "Delta told me the LGMs built all the tech that Sector 51 uses" Lena tells Tyrone "they're also slaves to the Greys, those almond-eyed jerks tried to capture the LGMs and take them back to their home planet. but I managed to rescue one and now we're trying to hide him so that they won't take him away" Tyrone then presses a button on the LGM's invention causing it to fire a missile that blows a hole in the roof scaring poor Poochie who hides under Tyrone's covers. Maria and Darnell hear the explosion, prompting them to run upstairs to see where the commotion's coming from before we cut to the Greys and their walkers arriving at the doorstep of the Sullivan household. Maria and Darnell walk into Tyrone playing with the LGM while Lena and Alex both have a nervous look on their faces, Maria exclaiming "you kids were hiding an ALIEN in our house?" while Darnell looks at Tyrone in the house asking "what do you have to say for yourself son?" Tyrone telling his parents "Lena was the one who brought him here, to keep him away from the bad aliens that were hunting him down" only for the glowing red eye-like center of the Grey's walkers to stare menacingly forcing Lena to use her forcefield to protect her family from the laser blast, Lena hands Grok to Tyrone and tells Alex and her family to run before Lena gets knocked into a wall by the blast only for Agent Delta to leap onto the walker and shoot through it with his laser pistols to bring it down, leaping through the hole in the ceiling into Tyrone's room to scold Lena, telling her "you are in SO much trouble young lady, your actions have incurred the wrath of the gray empire. what you did was VERY stupid!" Lena gets back up and tells him "me? they're the ones who attacked my family!" as the two run down the stairs, Delta continuing to scold her by saying "they only attacked your family because you tried to hide the missing LGM in their house! you are so grounded once this is all over" Lena talks back to him by saying "excuse me for not wanting to sell innocent aliens into slavery, on First Contact day no less!" the two running outside to protect Alex and the Sullivan family. Lena then activates her twin sword constructs as she is surrounded by walkers, using her dual swords to cut the legs off the walkers one by one causing them to fall like dominoes, Lena posing in front of the explosions exclaiming "Happy first contact day motherf-" only to get cut off by Delta who exclaims "LENA!" only for more walkers to show up prompting Poochie to stand in front of Lena and protect his owner by sucking all the mecha-walkers into his black hole mouth. Lena rushes to the aid of Alex and the Sullivans asking if Grok is safe, and Tyrone hands Grok to Lena telling her "don't worry, I kept him safe for 'ya big sis" while Maria tells her daughter "we're just happy you're alright sweetheart" only for Councilwoman Yma to grab the LGM by the back of his spacesuit followed by the other greys holding the whole family at gunpoint, Councilwoman Yma exclaiming "we will be taking him home with us, you terrans have been a thorn in our side since we got here! the Zeta Reticuli system will have your whole planet destroyed for this!" only for Grok to bite Yma's hand causing the Grey councilwoman causing her to drop him. Grok then pulls out the homemade laser blaster he made to shoot the other Greys knocking them out cold (don't worry he had it set to stun) Grok then points it to Yma telling her "let my fellow LGMs go or you're next!" in his native language. we then hear a voice say "I'd listen to the little guy if I were you" and in steps a Grey alien wearing a Sector 51 uniform with an Omega symbol on it, said Grey having scarring on the left side of his face. Councilwoman Yma's almond-shaped eyes widen with shock, exclaiming "Xeno? you're alive? I thought you died in the Roswell crash!" Xeno then says "Being in a healing vat for several decades will do you wonders. and call me Omega, co-founder of Sector 51 alongside Alpha" Alex then exclaims "He's Omega?" Lena replying with "I had no idea!" Delta then says "Alpha never told me either" Xeno/Omega then tells Councilwoman Yma "The LGMs may have been our creations, but that does not make them your or anyone's property. they have rights just like every other sentient being in the known universe" Councilwoman Yma then tells Sector 51 "If it means getting you meddling terrans out of my nonexistent hair for good, then fine. we will let the LGMs go" the Greys then drop all their kennels and open them letting all the LGMs free who all huddle around Grok to give him a big LGM group-hug hailing him as their hero. Councilwoman Yma then tells her fellow Greys "remind me to never visit this solar system again" as she and her fellow Greys beam up into their flying saucer and leave the planet. Delta thanks Omega, shaking his hand for getting them out of this situation. Delta then looks at Lena, telling her "And you're still grounded for endangering the planet young lady! no more visiting Alex for a month!" while Tyrone snickers saying "you just got into big trouble big sis" we then cut back to Sector 51 HQ where we a frustrated Lena sitting in her room listening to her music on her headphones frustrated over not being able to see Alex before we cut to Delta introducing Commander Epsilon to Omega, co-founder of Sector 51. Omega shakes hands with Epsilon, saying "Alpha told me stories about you and your brave exploits. I could not stand Idly by while the LGMs suffered from their unfair treatment by my own people, which is why I rescued them and fled to this planet with them on this very day 80 years ago" as the LGMs all surround Omega to hug his legs. Omega then tells Delta and Epsilon that he must return to the Zeta-Reticuli system, Delta wishing him safe travels. Omega then gets in his spaceship and blasts off into outer space, meanwhile in the cockpit of his ship Omega contacts none other than Alpha who thanks Omega for managing to diffuse the tension between Earth and the Zeta-Reticuli system, and Omega then tells Alpha "anything for my oldest friend, after all you were the one who found me in the crash all those years ago" ending our episode with the plot twist that Alpha was in fact the farmer from the Roswell prologue.
