Yeonseo sat at the corner of the library as she hid between the bookshelves. She hugged her knees close to her chest and exhaled heavily. Her eyes glanced at the bouquet Jungwon gave earlier.
She held it and smelled the flowers before smiling to herself. The door opened, revealing a tired and panting Jungwon. He saw her sitting at the corner and flashed her an assuring smile, "Your Highness."
He sat in front of her and admired her face which he yearned to see. "Do you know how worried I was when you were at the West Kingdom?" She asked. He nodded, "I know."
He reached for her hand before caressing it gently, "I know you're pregnant, Your Highness. Baekhee told me."
"Are you okay with it? I mean, I'm afraid that you're not ready or anything. Is it too quick?"
"I actually like the idea of having a mini us running around. He or she will have both of our faces and your outgoing personality."

The days went by normally. Days soon turned into weeks, then months. Two months have passed and it was finally the day of Jungwon and Yeonseo's wedding. The guests from other kingdoms and even noble families came to watch the princess get married.
Sunoo greeted the guests as he waited in the wedding hall. His eyes caught Heejin with her father entering the hall. Her heart fluttered and he swore he could see petals falling above her.
His eyes sparkled as his cheeks formed a red blush. Mr Bae noticed and smiled, "Your Majesty, you can talk to Lady Hwang if you want to. I'll help Lord Hwang get to his seat."
The King cleared his throat and faced him, "How do I look?"
"Wonderful, Your Majesty."
Sunoo shyly approached the noblewoman bowed out of the blue. Heejin widened her eyes and bowed back, "Your Majesty! You shouldn't bow at me!"
"Oh, I'm sorry! I um–"
Heejin couldn't help but laugh at his clumsiness. "You should greet the other guests, Your Majesty. What will they say if they saw you talking to a random woman?"
"You look beautiful, Lady Hwang."
"Thank you," she felt her stomach producing butterflies. He excused himself before greeting Prince Jay's family. She turned around to look at him and found herself smiling.
"We must wrap this cloth around you, Your Highness. It's to hide your small baby bump," Baekhee said as she carefully tied a cloth around Yeonseo's stomach.
The Princess stared at herself in the mirror, still in disbelief that she was going to get married. She had changed into a white gown and was waiting for Baekhee to place a veil on her head.
The other court ladies were decorating her hair with small flowers and some were doing her makeup. "Baekhee-yah, as soon as I leave the wedding hall, I'm no longer a princess. But the wife to Lord Yang," she said, feeling uneasy in her chest.
"You are born a princess and will always be a princess, Your Highness."
The Princess smiled and took a deep breath. She tried to calm her pouring heart and twirled around to check herself in the wedding gown.
Jungwon fixed his wedding attire in front of the mirror. Sunghoon stood behind him as he watched him closely. "Are you nervous?"
"Of course. I'm getting married," the nobleman answered back. The prince nodded before walking towards the coffee table. He poured the nobleman some jasmine tea before handing him the cup, "Here drink this while it's hot. It can ease your nervousness."
"Thanks," the nobleman said before gulping down every last drop. Sunghoon suppressed his smirk and sighed, "You have to be quick. The wedding is about to start."
Jungwon nodded and left the room, leaving the prince behind.

The palace guards blew their horns, signalling that the princess had arrived. Jungwon's eyes brightened up as he stood at the altar next to Sunoo. The doors to the wedding hall opened, revealing Yeonseo lowering her gaze with a bouquet in her hands.
She walked along the aisle and felt anxious seeing unfamiliar people around her. Maybe Kim Yeonseo knows them. But she doesn't.
The moment was just like how she saw it in the princess's memories. Baekhee was sobbing quietly next to Mr Bae. The male servant gave her an assuring nod, motioning for her to go on.
She finally reached the altar and let Jungwon take her hand before kissing the back of it. Her heart stopped for a moment and she let her eyes admire him from head to toe.
This is it.
The moment I'll get married to Lord Yang.
