"You sure it's gonna be able to hold him?" you asked and you couldn't hide your worry from your expression. Scar only proudly nodded as he crossed his hands in front of his chest.

"100% sure." he said as well but you still furrowed your brows.

"You haven't seen him." you went on, stepping closer to the metal door. It had been reinforced with so many additional pieces that it looked like a patch work blanket already and so was the walls of the little premise. "He is... he is strong and... I think he isn't really capable to restrain himself..." your fingers grasped the metal bars on the door's little peeking window as you looked at the soon-to-be prison in front of you.

"Yeah, you said that already." Scar stepped by your side to observe his work even prouder than before. He and a few other firelights had been working for days now to modify a room at the firelight base - for your brother... You tried to convince Ekko that you didn't find bringing Neo here - among children and sick - such a good idea, but he had been adamant about it.

Especially since there had started being reports about a 'monster' roaming around the lowest parts of Zaun, attacking people there. Mostly just scums in the Black Lanes where all kinds of illegal trades went off every day - that was why no one investigated the case yet. And though, you had no confirmation, you couldn't shake off the idea of the beast being your brother.

There probably weren't much dangerously mutated and extremely aggressive creatures roaming around every corner of Zaun...

Your heart worriedly sank for him. If it was really your brother - which was highly probable - then the more he roamed around attacking strangers, the more danger he got himself into. And he had also become less trackable... You just hoped that your old home was kind of a nest for him to which he returned after his hunts.

On one hand, you were happy that Ekko wanted to bring Neo here, where you could keep an eye out on him every day and try to heal him again, but on the other, you thought it was also too dangerous and maybe even a bit stupid...

You sighed as you closed the door of the small and dark premise. It was down, by the walls. Used to be a weapon warehouse before Ekko claimed it to be your brother's new 'room'.

"Thank you." You smiled honestly at the huge firelight by your side. You were grateful for what so many people did for you here, despite your concerns.

"You don't have to." Scar replied. "We saw what you can do. We are not afraid to have your brother here, you're gonne heal him anyway. You should trust yourself..." he couldn't finish his sentence. A loud 'boom' coming from Ekko's room, accompanied with a strong, blue light in his window shut him up. The two of you looked at each other, surprised at first, but then your tense shoulders loosened up.

"I'll go, check on him." You said, grabbing a hoverboard into your hands to which the huge firelight only nodded.

Ever since.... since Ajuna's death a few weeks ago, Ekko had been tinkering with his inventions a lot again. But this time he actually focused on devices that could help him now. He said that, he wouldn't let any more of you to loose his life again... You doubted it, given the fact that you had to live in Zaun, but of course, you didn't mention it to the boy.

His inventions weren't as drastic as Heimerdinger's for example, who had set up a complete arsenal of rockets to protect the base's entrances... The boy had been working on smaller and more pacifist tools for fights that would only help to blind or immobilize the enemy while the firelights fled away.

And yet, while making them Ekko wasn't careful at all. You had lost count already of the broken fingers and noses and burns you healed in the past weeks...
