A Danger To Be Safe In

CHAPTER 9

"HIDE & SEEK"

NOTE: Just in case you didn't know, Rosé and Chaeyoung are the same person! She uses both names and since I edit these chapters multiple times, I ended up using both but no worries! In the future chapters, I've mostly used her name, Rosé so I hope I don't confuse you much with the name Chaeyoung. 😮‍💨

THE COLD NIGHT'S breeze made Chaeyoung shiver and earned goosebumps on her arms. She ran swiftly but not loudly by adding as less weight as possible on her feet that ran through the grass and gravel on the ground.

Tonight, she and Irene plan to infiltrate Yang's home while he's out, at the moment only the guards and housekeepers occupy the mansion which is why it's the perfect time for them to strike.

Obviously, the entire place was swarmed. Every corner, every room, and every closed and open space had at least a guard or a maid in it. It was as if Yang lived his everyday life like it was his last to have such a colossal amount of protection ...which was reasonable and without a doubt, accurate.

Rosé and Irene hissed at the cold, they weren't really wearing clothes that had a good amount of thickness that they have to suffer through the cold, and running wasn't helping them.

Wendy told the two of them that the weather that night was going to be really chilly and she suggested that they wear lots of layers, the two, on the other hand, thought about the temperature lightly and just settled for their usual cargo pants, combat boots, and thin long-sleeve sweaters but Irene wore a cropped one which is why she's definitely going to end up having a cold later on.

"Fuck, let's hurry up! The cold is killing me!" Irene cursed herself for not thinking about this more thoroughly, Rosé rolled her eyes as she panted and continued running towards their entry point.

With the help of Chaeyoung's fellow investigators, she was able to get a hold of the entire mansion's floor plan,

"No need to improvise with this blueprint, I guarantee you it is 100% complete. Hell, it's even 101% complete seeing how we included every detail of the hallways, rooms, and even blind spots that the owner itself doesn't know."  Said one of Chaeyoung's investigators.

"You know what Yeri? I love you. How about you give me a kiss, yeah?"  As Chaeyoung leaned in intending to give her one good smooching session, Yeri playfully hit Chaeyoung's mouth using a T-Square ruler making her flinch and touch her mouth with her hand as the sharp pain of the t-square's impact made her tear up.

Yeri scoffed and flipped her hair and she turned her back against Chaeyoung. "As much as I would love for you to fuck me, I'm in no mood to really do that right now. Get out of here cus i don't wanna see your face, make sure you come back alive or I'll kill you."

Rosé's teeth began to chatter at the cold and she cursed under her breath.

"*sigh* Yeri, you better prepare yourself once I get back," Chaeyoung said to herself as she continued going from tree to tree, wall to wall, and through a bunch of plants and dirt, she finally reached an opening for her to enter the mansion without getting caught.

They approached a side of the mansion where they won't be hurdled by a wall, right now Rosé approached the wall that had a vent opening that was big enough for her to enter, given how she's tall but she has a thin figure giving her the advantage to crawl through small areas.
