"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN"

JENNIE REQUESTED that Lisa and Pierro leave her alone for a while after finding out about the news of Rosé's death.

Pierro understood that she needed to mourn the loss of a good friend, both him and Lisa even consoled her for a little while even tho Lisa was a little at loss and they finally left her in her room for as lomg as she needed.

While the two left, Jennie stared mindlessly in the air as she wrapped her arms around her chest to comfort herself, tears slowly fell from her eyes as she laid back on the bed. Her pure exhaustion made her too tired to even bother voicing out her pain, but not only did she feel the loss but also wondered how and why she died.

Never did she even expect that one of her biggest nightmares would come true, the impact of imagining was nothing to the pain of the event actually occurring.

The last thing she needed was to hear the death of her only friend, and not just any friend but the death of her partner.

A huge wall fell before Jennie preventing her from moving forward and progressing in their mission, Rosé had all the solid evidence and without her, she won't be able to do anything but hold onto news with no basis and nothing to present to the public to tell them that it's true.

It would be stupid of her to even think about releasing this, not after she'd learn from her past horror...not that she fabricated news but it's the fact that the mass harassment she received would be enough to scare a person for life, not if they had the strong will in them.

While Jennie and Pierro were squabbling, she received an email from Irene, a member of Rosé's investigation team.

The message she'd sent me was enough to send chills to my spine and begun encountering the familiar feeling of fearing for my life.

Dear Jennie,

We regret to inform you that Rosé is no longer with us. Our common enemy, Yang has attacked our safe house a few weeks ago where they raided the place in search of any information about us and the evidence we stole against them.

We're assuming that they found information about Rosé because she ordered my fellow members, Yeri and Seulgi to leave her identification card for the sake of our safety. Fortunately, Yang doesn't know anything about us and only Rosé was exposed. Her last wish was for us to cut off contact and to no longer work on the mission, we suggest that you be vigilant starting from the time you receive this email. If you still have the will to push further with this mission then on behalf of RV, we wish you good luck and hope for your success.

This is farewell, Team RV.

"I'm all alone, again." Jennie wiped her tears off her cheeks and her eyes were already dried from the tears, but the pain in her heart doesn't appear to be disappearing any time soon.

"Are you sure we should leave her be for a while? Why does Jennie want to be alone?" Lisa asked curiously.

Pierro looked at her frowning but then remembered Lisa's state at the moment so he collected and calmed himself before he spoke.

"If a person you truly care for dies, you'd want to mourn their death for a while. Mourning someone means you feel sorrow and regret because of the fact that they are no longer in this world, that is what Jennie is doing right now and leave her be for now."
