"WHAT MUST BE DONE"

EVEN WITH Rosé's positive first impression of Lisa, she knew deep down something was different...something wrong.

The thought lingered in her mind as her eyes shot straight on the road with her hand on the wheel while the other was resting on the car door with the windows down, she was so deeply indulged in her overthinking that she didn't realize that her car was already running way way wayyy passed the speed limit, she almost hit a light post but good thing she still focused at the same time. Though let's be real here, even if she did crash into the light post it's no doubt she'd care less.

She was loaded after all, her net worth was no different from Jennie's...just a little higher.

The bright and ethereal moon was already shining up in the sky surrounded by little colorful stars that make you want to just spend the night admiring them. For everyone, the night was your time to rest, to spend some alone time after a day of working and socializing. As for Rosé, the night meant the complete opposite for her. The night was her period of productivity, overthinking, and even a period for reflecting on her life about all the regretful choices she had made.

When her car began reaching deeper into the forest, she suddenly had an impulse that made her change her direction from the way home into the city to a way into a more remote part of the forest a little farther from the city of Paris.

Rosé's surroundings began to darken and it made her turn the headlights onto the brightest setting, giving her more light to see through the dark road.

While focusing on driving, she thought of the conversation she had when Jennie introduced her to Lisa.

Lisa...I need to know who you are, who you really are.

After Lisa left the room to clean up the used tea set and plates, Rosé quickly went closer to Jennie and whispered.

"So...what's her story?" Jennie was surprised by Rosé's question and chuckled.

"Oh don't mind her, the girl went through a lot. Ran away from home, didn't have anywhere to go and we found her passed out outside. She got sick and was bedridden for days, besides...she willingly helps out here in the house, though I gotta say..."

Rosé raised her eyebrows waiting for Jennie to continue.

"She's like a kid...doesn't know common knowledge at all, she could barely write, understand shows on the television, she does know how to read but only knows the basics. These days, Pierro is homeschooling her and teaching her all sorts of stuff. Good thing I didn't have to think about school tuition, I doubt they'd even let her enroll at that age."

Yeah, that's not normal at all.

No common knowledge, barely able to write and basic reading is well within the reach. I gotta see this...

What made Rosé dazed was the fact that Jennie had a completely different look on her face when she spoke of Lisa, different in a way that shows her unique treatment towards the latter.

Her eyes could speak, I could see the fondness in her eyes as it glimmered every time she spoke her name.

Rosé hated to admit it but that was the first time she had seen Jennie like that over the time they had spent together doing work.

It made her feel concerned and anxious, which is why it was once again time for her to do some digging.

The car pulled up in front of a 2 story house that was similar to Jennie's architecture but was a little smaller and fit for a single person. The house was your usual provincial french home, it wasn't too small nor too big. Rosé had the walls of her house painted creme and the roof of her house was colored midnight blue, the window and door frames were colored white and every corner had plants and flowerbeds to give the home its cozy feeling despite how fancy it was. Rosé did have the money to buy herself a bigger property but considering her job and discreet lifestyle, this was already enough for her to call home.
