"THE VILLAIN'S KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR"

"DON'T STOP running, don't stop running, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop. Keep on going, don't look back, just keep on running."

Her legs felt numb, she was already showering herself in her very own sweat, it was cold. No matter how cold the wind felt on her skin, no matter how dark her surroundings were, she couldn't stop, not even just to catch her breath.

Who knows how many kilometers she had already run through, the situation right now was bringing out the inhumane side of her very much exhausted body. With no water or food to consume, she was only relying on the adrenaline that was left in her...and it was almost running out.

Like a cheetah dashing through the lands, she had no destination, right now she had finally felt it. "Is this what people mean when you run free?"

For the very first time, Lisa had smiled. She felt so happy as she ran for her life, her heart was very much overjoyed that it could burst at any moment.

Tears were running down her cheeks into the air as she laughed to herself while her long legs brought her running further and further.

It was a very cold night, but Lisa's body was rushing with boiling blood. Her eyes began to get tired and her legs began to slowly turn into noodles, she was about to pass out.

In the distance, there was a huge house with its lights still turned on. A sudden urge grew within Lisa as her eyes landed on the house, no one was besides there but herself, and she could hear someone whispering.

"Ask for help, get help."

"You need it."

"Help." Lisa tried to shout out those words but she couldn't let it out clearly, she ran faster and faster than before as she finally got a grasp of hope once more.

"H-help!" She shouted in a low tone but still not enough to be heard by anyone in the fields.

A man and woman went outside of the house into the courtyard, it seems that they were chatting. Seeing the two gave Lisa a sense of desperation, greed, and longing for help.

While running, she finally gathered enough courage to scream as loud as she could, and therefore, she braised herself. "...HELP—"

Just as Lisa was finally able to shout the words, her feet stumbled upon a short fence making her trip on it and fall down, ending up rolling down the hill as dirt and other types of debris got onto her.

Her exposed skin was cut, her clothing was all ragged and ripped, her hair was all over her face and even got dirt and mud on it, her feet sprained, her arm felt beaten up.

After rolling down for what felt like forever, she finally stopped and her body crashed into a metal garbage bin making the pain she felt double. Lisa laid weakly on the ground, her eyes were tired, her whole body trembling and felt paralyzed from the obstacles she went through, and she couldn't get up.

In those moments, she wished she had died. Another moment in her life that became one of her lowest, she finally got to see the world in her own accord, she no longer felt the need to see anything more.

The arduous trip already made her feel satisfied, but at the same time it didn't.

This was just another obstacle, to test her strength. Laying on the ground as her heart and mind debated.
