"ERADICATED"

THE SOUND OF PHONE dialing repeated and was heard throughout the room. The heels of Jennie clicked on the floor making it echo as she paced back and forth while waiting for the call to resume but she remained unanswered for the 20th time, she groaned and slammed her fits on the table and let out her frustrations because Rosé hasn't been answering to her messages nor calls.

Months have passed and not a single message, not even a call from the informant. Worry had begun consuming Jennie because it was unlikely for Rosé not to give her the slightest bit of idea of how her investigation has been going, her messages had been delivered but none of them had been opened.

She completely understood that they didn't have any communication during the first half of their mission because Rosé told her that she needs to lay low for a while, but now even the latter herself said that Jennie could give her a call at any time or even a message because they'll be planning their next move and won't need to be discreet.

"Look, if you need anything just give me a call okay? I'm not gonna lay low for the next few days or even months because I'm contacting some of my other connections."

"I promise you, i'll be fine. We'll be alright."

Multiple possibilities could be the cause of her not even opening their chat logs, one of them could be where Rosé had taken it to the next level and went into the Lion's den and faced it head on which was a pretty accurate theory considering how crazy the bitch can get.

Or maybe Rosé hasn't had stable connection and isn't able to reach out to Jennie at all but she knew that reason had a slim chance considering the fact that she was well off and is able to provide a good wifi service.

And the worse theory...it was already obvious what that theory was because it's very common in her line of work but Jennie decided to ignore that for now and think of other things and not let the negative energy radiate too much.

Rosé and Jennie agreed that they would always let each other know how their progress has been going, even if they would just send a single message or even word was enough as long as they both knew they were still in contact.

This was the first time Rosé has gone complete AWOL and Jennie hasn't been having a single bit of peace of mind until she receives even just an emoji from her.

At last she was finished with her draft for the article that she'll be releasing soon to finally get Yang into jail, a heavy burden will soon be lifted off her shoulders the moment she submits this to her chief editor and gets it printed and released both online and into the news papers.

A storm was coming and it's winds isn't to be messed with.

While trying to get a hold of Rosé, she stayed in her office and hasn't even had a chance to have her meals and was only able to eat chips and drink either water or coffee to calm her hunger.

All the stress she has been having for the past months had taken a toll on her health and body that she'd already lost 3 kilograms, her cheeks were no longer filled and almost revealed her cheek bones. Her waist had become thin and her stamina depleted because of her lack of nutritions and proper meals.

She laid back on her chair as she rubbed her eyes and let out a long yawn, Jennie also noticed how her eye bags have also worsened and dark circles already formed around her eyes.
